Two amazing ladies of lettering, how refreshing. Jessica highlighted it early in the pod cast that lettering artist became fewer at the turn of the century due to the use of Macs. What is amazing now, is just how many women are lettering artists today, yet back in the 70s 80s and 90s it was all men : Lubalin, Carnase, Di Spigna, Huerta, Doret, Forster, Quay, Rousselott, Larcher, Horridge, Peckolick, Grimshaw the list goes on and on........ were there any great lettering ladies from that era or were they all looking after the children? Best one yet Martina, so interesting, well done.

I LOVE Jessica Hische! She kicked off her career when I started art school and now I work at an advertising agency but anytime I'm in the mood to be creative after hours, I consider illustrating or looking for a lettering opportunity. She is just refreshing, talented, and I've followed her for years. I read her books to my kids, and it means so much to me that she's still so down to earth and kicking ass. Well done. You're amazing Jessica!🎉
