All Bows - Terraria Calamity Mod

- Calamity added a lot of bows into the mod. This video shows all of the bows and their ability demonstration. Bows are ranged weapons which consume arrows and deal ranged damage. Some are capable of shooting more than 1 projectile for 1 arrow, while others have a chance to not consume any arrows at all. Generally, the best modifier for bows is Unreal.

Also Calamity Mod: These bosses are immune to just about every debuff in the game

I’d like to point out that I apparently had the blossom flux just sitting in magic storage for god-knows-how-long. I just had this legendary weapon with a 1-2% drop rate from plantera collecting dust in my storage for presumably over a week.

If you hold your cursor over your character while Ultima is shooting its lasers, you go fucking wild.
Fun fact, shell shooter absolutely destroys brain of cthulu and perforator hive. It isn't great against queen bee or skeletron, but if you're plaing a crimson world and don't like those bosses, go ham. It also does very good against eater of worlds and hive mind, but usually demon bow with jester arrows or molten fury with hellfire is preferred for those two

I love the inconsistency. From Phantagm that deals around 3000-4000 dps straight to the Ultima, that deals 19000 dps, then back to Nettlevine Greatbow. Amazing work

Bro, that Provi's bow is absolutely terrible dps ( 500 dps IN POST MOON LORD )
late as shit but it goes from lowest base damage visable on the weapon to highest base damage visable on the weapon so if a post moon lord bow did 5 base damage and it summoneed a million fucking arrows that deal 5 damage its gonna deal a shit ton more then 5 but its still gonna be in the first because its base damage is the lowest out of them all

I find it funny seeing things like the ultimata being before some of the final bows in the game and be almost on par with them

I personally play Calamity a ton and I'm always conflicted when I see a good weapon on your videos bit don't know how to craft or obtain them. Keep up the great work love your vids!

There really needs to be at least some homing endgame ranger weapons
Its not like ranger is the most broken class even with the lack of homing.
My endgame ranger still uses the Drataliornus for homing, though you could also use the Svantechnical with chlorophyte bullets - though that may not be nearly as valid.
@@kcsuperslime8546 Yeah, but it takes forever for the Drat to charge up to homing shots and if you get hit once by anything it ends. And yeah, even if they do add homing chlorophyte bullets at endgame do so little damage they aren't really worth using.
Personally, I use the ace's high for homing at endgame but my god, is it laggy as all hell and don't even try to use it on a worm boss. Your computer would be begging for death.

Random fact : due to recent update, Ultima does extremely well when fighting yharon phase 2. Its available after yharon phase 1

I must ask, do you go out in a pre-1.4 tmodloader to collect these weapons and items, or do you some how find a way to mod base 1.4 and use a journey mode- cheat combo to grab them quickly? I would like to delve into the world of terraria mods, but would like to know how you make these videos.
There is a free dlc for terraria called tmodloader, you install your mod on there. You install them by going to the mod browser

He probably just uses cheat sheet (mod) or HERO's mod, both of which provide an item browser which can spawn in any item, rather than actually getting the items manually

Would you say the Alluvion is better than the Phangasm due to the immediate high DPS? Both are amazing but I just feel like the Phangasm builds up too slow.. I might be missing something though.
Some post moonlord bows are the dadleus storm bow but buffed

There is a vanilla item called the Mandible Blade, why didnt they call it the Mandiblade?

Now that the Rubico Prime and Soma Prime are still great at Endgame, all we need is a Kuva Bramma and we got ourselves a great alternative for other Bows (granted it deals CC and Burst at insanely high proportions)

The fact that only bow-type weapons have a special potion to heavily increase their damage, makes me slightly frustrated...
It could have something similar to guns, launchers, flamethrowers, etc.
The archery potion should honestly be reworked so that it just makes arrow velocity and bow accuracy better.
Idk I finished calamity mode with my friends recently and I played ranger class. Every time I tested my DPS on superdummy the DPS was 80% of the time higher when I used weapons. Despite the fact I used Yharims stimulants (Which give you archery potion dmg bonus) and archery potion simultaniously. And I have always used best gear for certain weapon.(Some helmets are for archers and some for bullets or I switched from scope to Magic quiver)
I came to the calamity mod for the bosses, but mostly...

@@marsrover69 1.4 has some major changes that render 1.3 unplayable in comparison to me. No access to journey mode to have infinite building materials or copying banners is too much.
