- Always wanted to hit the open road so we got a 2015 First Transit Connect and turn it into a MICRO CAMPER, Built out the outside and made the inside simple for our first trip. Hope you guys enjoy, Updated Van Video coming soon.....

Those bumpers are what every Connect camper needs. Somebody needs to put those into production!

Very cool exterior of the van, had high hopes for the inside. Consider at least some insulation board for the interior, will significantly help with maintaining the temp inside.
We finished the inside after this, I have to make a video and post it! Haha my bad, if you watch the “made coffee in my van you can see I’m the inside”

Hell yeah! My wife and I just bought a connect and are in the process of building it out. Kudos on the custom built bumbers! Have you guys done anything for the undercarriage? I'm worried about cracking my oil pan but I can't find any skid plates for the connect.
So sick! Waiting to do a video on the updated inside, as for the skid plate I’m in the same situation. Maybe get an aluminum one made 🤷🏽 😂

Good build. I would like to know how you two built the back bumper. I'm looking to put a spare tire on back and a recovery box.
I used the shape of my Cadilla CTS and just made it with card board. Then traced it on metal and welded it

I made the roof rack from scratch and I didn’t lift it luckily everything fit but I do have a 1” lift kit I have to add!

We made it out of cardboard first then traced the pieces in metal and cut/welded it together lol
You could sell those for $800 a piece easily if you ever decided to make more and sell them.@@MannysWorld
