Wowzar! I'm collecting my Ford Transit Connect on Wednesday! Planning on exact same set up, and such a great idea to put the heater in the floor void, I was thinking to put the clean or waste water there!

Keep watching videos like these to figure out how to screw the ply to the van over the insulation, are you using existing holes in the metal work? If so how are you connect the ply without a nut on the other side? Or if you’re just screwing are you going into the metal? What screws are you using if so? Need to get my van ply lined then carpeted
They are just self tapping screws into the internal metal framing.
Great build, im thinking of converting one myself just don't know if i can fit in it. Im 183cm tall and as far as im aware the cargo area of transit connect is a little shorter than this. Can you please tell me how long is your bed?
Thanks! Yeah the bed was 190cm so a full sized length. With the seats put forward there's enough room for someone pretty tall, I'm 6ft and slept comfortably 🙂

Try any diy store. The foil is sometimes called reflectix and the wool type is recycled plastic bottles insulation rolls

Can I ask..where did you place your battern to attach the cladding to at the rear of the van? And how did you hold it in place please? I've the same van and this is becoming a challenge lol. Thank you!
Hi, if you check out episode 7 that might help you out, it shows the cladding in a bit more detail. It’s essentially screwed into the internal framing of the van. It’s a difficult one that, good luck! Hope it helps

Hello, it’s the LWB and high roof version. I don’t have any plans for it currently, but might be something I could look at in the future
how did you attach the batons to the van? screw straight into the metal work?
For some battons yes, but on the roof I used a threaded bar.
Is this one 2013 or newer?
And did you have any mechanical problems with it?

From wickes I think, about 2 rolls of it. Maybe 3

@@Jamie-re9cv some of the floor is solid, some into the higher ribs of the van. You can seal them underneath if needed

With all that reflectic in your van, supposedly, I learned from other van lifers, you will have zero cell service except by a window.
Never had an issue with that ! 🙂
I don't like the carpet wall and he should have put in a sink in the so call kitchen.
I was quite a fan of the work myself - loved the carpeted wall, which was done to a brilliant standard. If I could do a job half as well as this, I'd be happy.
