Good day everyone. Today we are doing a hymn titled “ This World is not My Home.” The words were written in 1931 by AP Carter and the musical arrangement was written in 1937 by AE Brumley. I don’t know about anyone else but I am longing for the return of Jesus Christ. 2 Timothy 3 verses 1-5 says: “ This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. (2) For men shall be lovers of their own selves , covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, (3) Without natural affections, trucebreakers, false accusers,incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, (4) Traitors, heady, high minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God, (5) having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” Sounds like the world we are living in today. Even so, come Lord Jesus. This world is not my home.
