    That was the easiest repot I’ve seen.

    If you put the aerial roots into the soil, your plant will TAKE OFF. I placed a small jar filled with water on top of the soil so the moisture would draw the aerials down towards the soil and buried the ends into the top soil. My plant started to THRIVE after three of the aerials made it to the soil. They help support upward growth and they also take nutrients further up the vine to give you more fenestrated new leaves instead of one or two fenestrations in each leaf once they unfurl. Best of luck!

      Is there an easy way to train the aerials down once they have grown out? My plant has 3 that I'm worried I might damage if I try to push them down.

    Monsteras generally like being snugged but once truly root bound it's best to go up one size

    Monsteras tolerate being root bound but they don't prefer it. Tight roots slow down the growth of a plant. Monsteras love being big. Keep the roots loose and watch how big they grow.

    I found one like this plant that someone threw out. It had few yellow leaves and looked dead . I took it home although it's winter here but it managed to recover now it has few leaves. Great feeling 😀

    I have a monsteria deliciosa plant and I have little wormy things in my pot. Can you tell me where are these wormy things that are in my pot coming from. So what do I do about them

    I believe I should have repot mine already, but the double fenestrations are so satisfying, I can’t make myself do it yet. If it ain’t broken, don’t fix it, ya know? 😂

    Serious question: are plant people also cat people? Like, do I need a cat to fit in? 🤣

      @jenniferk782 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, but don't feel bad haha. While I got lucky because my cats don't eat my plants, they knock them over so much. I have to rearrange my plant room specifically with my little gremlins in mind.

      @@jenniferk782Ahhhh yes! I had a kitty boy many years ago and I remember this being an issue with the Christmas tree. He would play soccer with the ornaments 🤣

      @@Itsroccib HAHA my cats do that too! My parents love buying me Christmas ornaments, and I've had to stress that they cannot be breakable because the cats will mess with them.

      haha of course not but it wouldn't hurt 😂 most plants are toxic though so I'm very lucky they don't seem to care that much.

      My cats are legit plant assassins. This include Christmas trees.

    If I reported my Monstera that was kind of root down and it lost a lot of roots, will it be ok?

    Is it wrong to disturb root ball while repotting and what if we remove all the soil from the roots and repot it , pls someone tell .

    • @tamarar7156

      Usually you don't want to take all the dirt off the roots unless there's rot then yes cut the root rot and wash the roots. But if its going up a size do it when your soil has dried out it makes it easier and less shock that way you can water fresh soil

    There is nothing wrong with root bound. Monsteras prefer to be in tighter spaces. If you want to limit your plants growth, do not repot.

    • @Mulva_
      @Mulva_ หลายเดือนก่อน

      They don't prefer to be root bound, they tolerate it. Root bound slows the growth of a plant and we all know monsteras love to grow to their fullest.
