I got it from 'house of merak'...they are on Instagram and WhatsApp...theirs been the only one I have used and has worked perfectly well 🌿 What all do you add in your DIY pon? What's your recipe 😃 would be interesting to know
I got mine from Amazon (the plant essentials) one...they sell it on their Instagram as well...there are a few more sellers on Instagram if you'd like to explore more
Hello 🌿 yeah I guess I had just tried PON for syngoniums until then...and then I tried for Alocasia Jacklyn...I wasn't too sure about silver dragon...but I'm so glad I made the transition...both the plants are doing so fine now...on the leafs falling - had seen so many videos where everyone experienced 1-2 leaves falling...it's quite a standard norm even when repotting...1-2 leaves do fall...but overall a total must recommendation to try PON
@@ravennightshade4702 the good things about Alocasia's is that they literally come back from almost even nothing 🙌🏻 I have restarted my Jacklyn 3 times over after completely cutting it to the stump...same with black velvet...so don't worry...better to make the transition and be patient with it...cos once it settles in PON, you will see how good it is for the plant...check out some more PON videos perhaps before you make the move
.. The sponge or the nets are from when the plants was made as seadlings at a nursery somewhere.. Lots of plants have these.. Annoying?? Absolutely.. And they don't do any good for the plants when growing bigger, other than make the plant suffer since they can't grow properly and the sponge can cause roots to die when they can't get nutrients.. .. Simply just remove it when repotting, like you do now..
True...just that at times we can't cause so much trauma to a plant that's already traumatized from the couriers and we only end up checking when the problem has already started 😫
Your videos keep getting better and better. Keep it up. :))
Thank you 😇😇😇
Love Alocasias have some of my own.
They are the best 🌿
Thanks for the information.
🌿🌿

Hi, where can I get a moss pole like yours (honey comb transparent)? Also, how much does it cost?

Can we use self watering rope to this?
Yes you can, I prefer to use the ones without the wick system
Wait, did you say you haven't done this with alocasia? If so how do you know 1, that's it's better, and 2, that only a leaf or two will fall?

@CasualLeaves thankyou. I'm having problems with a couple of alocasia, thinking about changing, but don't want to kill them.
