Nope, they are allocated by Ford. There is no way they would sell anyone 2 let alone 5. Also there's a minimum of 2 years before you can sell it on the used market baked into the contract when you purchase one.

Yes this car sold for 2.5, but it's value will sky rocket years from now if maintained properly. Considering who bought it I imagine it will be. Not a bad investment at all.

I seen this car at the LA auto show last year. Sad but I felt like I was the only person who knew anything about that paint scheme.

Ponygt 662 Barrett Jackson Scottsdale 2006, Lot #1307, 1950 GM Futureliner Sold for $4.4 million. Adjusted for inflation would make it roughly $5.5 million today. Not certain that’s the highest GM vehicle, just the highest I know about.
Not sure, but it's said that the 2005/06 Ford GT is the only American car made this century that's actually gone up in value.
I know a few years back a shelby cobra super snake sold for roughly 5.5 mil as well. Ron Pratt was the lucky high bidder.
