Doch noch nie zuvor habe ich einen Patienten gesehen, der seine Beine so geschickt einsetzen konnte wie auf diesem Video. Einfach perfekt! 😍🦵👍✌️

@@detective5253 I understand your perspective, and I agree that regaining athletic abilities after surgery involves various factors. Genetics, body structure, hard work, and discipline all play important roles in determining the outcome.
Firstly, genetics can influence an individual's athletic potential. Some people may naturally have a higher proportion of fast-twitch muscle fibers, which are associated with explosive power and strength. Others may have a genetic advantage in terms of bone density, joint structure, or cardiovascular capacity. These inherent factors can contribute to someone's ability to recover and regain athletic abilities after surgery.
Secondly, hard work and discipline are crucial for achieving any athletic goal, including post-surgery rehabilitation. The recovery process requires consistent effort, adherence to rehabilitation protocols, and a positive mindset. Patients who are dedicated to their rehabilitation exercises, follow their healthcare provider's advice, and maintain a disciplined approach are more likely to make progress in restoring their athletic abilities.
Furthermore, having a strong foundation of bone density and muscle mass can certainly provide advantages when it comes to strength training and physical activities. Strong bones are less prone to fractures, and well-developed muscles offer greater support and stability to the joints. This can enhance performance and reduce the risk of re-injury during the rehabilitation process.
However, it's important to note that every individual's journey and response to surgery and rehabilitation will differ. Factors such as the type of surgery, the extent of the injury, and the overall health of the individual can also impact the outcome. While genetics and physical attributes can contribute to the recovery process, the skills and expertise of the surgical team, along with proper post-operative care and rehabilitation, are crucial in achieving optimal results.
In conclusion, regaining athletic abilities after surgery involves a combination of factors. Genetics, body structure, hard work, and discipline all play significant roles in the outcome. While certain physical attributes may provide advantages, it is important to remember that each person's journey is unique, and successful rehabilitation requires the expertise of medical professionals, a well-designed treatment plan, and the commitment of the individual undergoing the process.
      👌👍🦵✌️

That said though, i will give credit where credit is due. This is hands down the BEST recovery from this surgery that i have ever seen. He deffo doesnt have full athletic ability. But his walking and running ability is easily at say 60% which is way better than any recovery i have ever seen. Maybe its because he only lengthened 8cm and only the thigh bone. People ive seen who have done 15 cm on both tibia and fibula combined still walk like disabled ducks even 3years post op. His results are no doubt remarkable.

That's all quite impressive, but I don't need to see the patient doing sports for hours. I see him jumping and running once and that's enough. What I actually want to see in detail is the surgery itself, the healing process of the bone (x-rays) and the activities during the lengthening phase. Thanks.

i watched it fine. Dont get me wrong… this is the BEST recovery i have ever seen from this surgery. Hands down. But its still very obvious that he is not back to full athletic ability. I’d say maybe 60% of his running and walking. But you can tell that his actual explosive athletic ability is just not there in the same way it would have been. It may get better over time. But lets be honest, its not going to be 100% i doubt he’ll even be able to jump down from a 4ft wall with full impact without serious problems.

"No one will ever call me short again." Buddy i'm 174cm and i've been called short many times in this day and age where even 12 year olds are 180cm. Does he really think that an extra 6 cm puts him in a whole different height category? I'm planning on getting the surgery myself, even at 182 cm after the surgery, I still won't consider myself tall. I'm glad he's happy with 179 cm though, but why did he only go for 6 cm instead of 8-10 cm? Lost opportunity.

So only 2 inches? I don't think that's worth the trouble.. I would consider 4inches cause 2inches isn't enough or worth that much pain and it's not much difference so naw 😂😂😂
