Cyborg4Life had a lengthening of 2 inches in one leg only (not sure if that covered both his femur and tibia though). Brian had a total lengthening of 6 inches in both of his legs, in his tibia and femur, there's a massive difference. But I hope he'll recover

Then the rods stay in the bones for about a year to allow the new bone to completely solidify and heal, and then the rods come out and your bones are simply longer for the rest of your life. Intensive process, but very effective if done right!

180cm is not "6ft." It's just barely on the brink of 5'11. And considering he's not standing up tall most of the time I see him, he is probably closer to 5'10. I do wish this man a speedy recovery, though, and I hope he's happy with whatever height he is. It took a lot of guts and a strong mind to do what he did, putting himself through all of this.

Honestly I'm happy for him but ironically as a 6'0/6'1 person, I feel insecure because I have a few friends who are a little taller than me or super tall for some reason.
