Don't know how you got the cluster out without pulling the covers and turn signal/wiper stalks off. It was absolutely a no go for me without removing those, 1988 924S. The tips on removing the bezel were great, seemed like the only way to get it off, but good to know. My gear was not broke just slipped. Superglued back on and good to go.
I have been having a ton of issues with audio loss with this new phone and iMovie. I tweaked a couple of settings and will try to re upload. Thank you for letting me know though!
it says Audi and VW because VW owns Audi and Porsche. the 944 was originally built by porsche for VW to have a sports car. VW decided against it and porsche decided to keep the production and sell the car under their brand
@@OvalboreCars three years between VW droping out and the launch of the 924. Not very last minute. It was initially made by Porsche for VW. Which I guess makes it a Porsche?
Thank you soooooo much Ovalbore! Been looking for this for my early 944. You did a wonderful job with one hand.
glad it was helpful, and thats what she said :p
Thanks Ovalbore, your video was exactly like described. Now I can sleep knowing my Odometer is working!! Great job on the video . Many thanks.
Cheers for this, my speedo cable and odemeter are broken and this saved me, thanks a bunch!
glad it helped!
Great. Exactly what I needed for my 924. But getting the whole Thing back at its place is kind of a Challenge itself.

says VW because the 924 is a VW that only at the very last minute was festooned with Porsche badges.
