That is actually really cool that the developers thought about that on earthbound. You have a full inventory and buzz buzz just gives that last item to somebody else to keep. That was very thoughtful of them. They probably noticed the problem when they were testing the game and finding an error constantly happen every time they tried to get through that part when they filled up their inventory. Even though I feel like the odds of having your inventory full that early in the game are pretty unlikely
Yeah, you can't go into town or buy anything before then. All you can do is hope the crows drop cookies when you beat them, and that could take a while to get a full inventory from.
I love skipping the Sound Stone, I do it every time I play Earthbound now out of principal. There's even a part later in the game where if you hit select on the second controller when Tony is recording your name in Summers, the flag on the boat at the bottom of the screen will flop up and down.
I love gaming but have trouble enjoying the classics I loved. Earthbound is a rare exception, but my god. I've got an emulator and nearly every SNES game on my phone and I just find myself getting sad quickly. 😂
9:04 I think something similar happens when you press select on controller 2 when you’re entering the player’s name for the first time in Toto, there is a flag on a ship and you can make it appear and disappear by pressing the button.
8:31 I'm not sure if this is a correction or whatever, but there is an NES style version of "The Lost Levels" if you consider "Super Mario Bros. Deluxe" for the Game Boy Color. However, in that version, not only is it still confined to the dimensions of the GBC, it's also missing worlds 9 through D. Don't know if this counts, but I figured I'd mention it because it's basically an NES skin of what we got.

Rather, someone else decided it was racist for black people with no input. Like pokemon jinx, mr. popo from dragon ball. I’ve never known any black person that has ever complained about these depictions. I find it more racist that someone else decided something for me.
@Marc Carran there are a ton of characters with similar designs that get a pass but assuming it’s all just black face is racist in itself. I think the PR team that was behind this game’s distribution assumed it was offensive, assumed it a play on blackface , without having asked or taken a consensus. When you can look at it honestly, and it could have been a design of a black person from a naive Japanese person. If they didn’t change it, they would get real feedback from actual black people enough to improve black peoples appearance in Japanese content. It’s naive to assume these companies actually do research for what people actually think. At least back then. So then it becomes. Someone that’s not black explaining something’s racist because look at it. So if black people actually have larger lips, then is ir racist or accurate? Or the combination of dark skin ,lips, instantly racist? You can’t have a dialogue if you just assume something and take it away.

Crono Trigger ost at the start? That's a Like
My brother and i had the cart to the LOST LEVELS; was an odd shaped cart that fit fine in the NeS; glitched all the same like any other cart you blew into after time 🤣
Unless it was a bootleg, no, you didn’t. It was a Famicom Disk System game and wouldn’t fit into an NES at all.
@@sharmat1611 well, i can attest to saying, it was a very odd shaped cart. Bootleg as it may(ChinaTown, NyC in the early 90s) i get exposed to quite the bit in the last 4decades. But i recall getting a chance to play it for as short a time as we had it.
3:55 nice credit guys, it was nova the squirrel, not "changeme". someone didn't changeit.
Do a video on Twisted Metal!
I don't know if my Dad ever owned an SNES, but it still was a cool console.
the *contempt* in his voice as he explains the situation with doki doki panic
Greatest console of all-time!!
