Wow this game has come a long way, would suggest maybe adding more detail to the ground so it's a little less barren, even just a little bit of texture would go a long way. It would also be cool if there were some bosses and more guns that you could find/ unlock. Maybe you could get the guns from the bosses. Keep up the good work man, your stuff is really cool!

I have a lengthy suggestion list, turning this game from a fun side project, to possibly competing for (game of the year). 1- some loose rocks available that don't need a pickaxs, just walk towards it and you have it. 2- you start with only 1 ax, no gun, no pickaxe. 3- some buildings: a- build a furnance/smelter (5 stones) b- build a workbench (5 wood - 1 stone) 4- in the furnance, you put 1 stone (ore) and 1 wood (feul) to make 1 metal bar. 5- each enemy who dies can leave 1 magic crystal (resource). 6- on the work bench you can make the following tools: - shovel (1 wood - 1 metal). - pickaxe (1 wood - 2 metal). - wooden door (4 wood - 1 metal). - metal door (5 metal). - wooden bridge (10 wood - 2 metal) can be placed over trenches and rivers. - stone bridge ( 10 stones) can be placed over trenches and rivers. - gun level 1 (5 metal - 1 magic crystal). - gun upgrade ( 10 metal - 2 magic crystals) stronger bullets. - gun upgrade 2 (20 metal - 5 magic crystalsl) shotgun. - gun upgrade 3 (50 metal - 10 magic crystals) autumatic gun. - wooden armor ( 5 wood) adds +1 maxium health "not stackable with other armor". - metal armor ( 5 metal) adds +2 maximum health "not stackable with other armor". - crystal armor ( 10 magic crystals) adds +3 maximum health "not stackable with other armor". - decoy (5 wood) enemies will go after it "2 decoys deployed at the same time max". - robot (5 wood - 5 magic crystals) a decoy that moves around "2 decoys deployed at the same time". - row boat (20 wood - 5 metal) allows you to move on water. - ship (1000 wood - 200 metal - 100 magic crystals) allows you to escape the island and win the game. 7- with the shovel, you can dig moot/trench that will slow the enemies. 8- you can move automatically through doors, but enemies will treat a door the same as a wall. - a wooden door is equal to wooden wall. - a metal door is equal to stone wall. 9- different island maps like: - desert island: less enemies, less resources. - tundra island: same as desert island, but ice instead of sand. - tropical island: more enemies, more resources. - savannah isand: standard enemies and resource. - grassland island: same as savannah island, but the grass is greener. - swamp island: full with small ponds/lakes, and rivers, but standard resources.
The first thing that came to mind was a crafting system so you could build different types of barriers and weapons like a shotgun or turret. Another one would be different biomes, such as a volcanic wasteland where lava monsters would be more frequent.
I have some ideas that I would like to share. First:The ghosts should slow down if their going through a wall. Second:You should add some like traps that the player can place to kill monsters. It would also be cool if you would add some npc were you can buy new guns and armor.
I am very happy that you are remaking this game, as I personally think it could be addictive with more features! Here are some things I recommend. 1. One thing that I find weird, is the fact that the character is just white, along with everything else the character has. I personally think you should make the character have texture. Maybe make him be skin colored, and have some clothes. Make his items colored as well, too! 2. The textures. The texture's are fine as they are, but I think the ground could be more textured. Make it look more sandy. Also, make the tree textures more complex too. Everything else is probably fine. Maybe stone would look good with a complex texture? I also think you should change the texture for stone you collected. Make it look more like a stone brick wall, than a stone plank wall. 3. Biomes. This isn't something you have to do, but could do if you want. You could add a grassy biome, where more trees could be, which could also have more animals. That's the only biome idea I have, but, make your own biome ideas! 4. The characters texture when moving. I know this may be hard to texture, but maybe you could make it where, when the characters move a certain way, there texture changes. Like if they go left, there character changes to look like they're going left. And if they look right, then they look right. And same thing with backwards.
I think if you add a small multiplier to your score depending on the wave then it would encourage both killing and surviving, which I think would be cool
Three suggestions: 1) A time where enemies do not spawn inbetween waves(if that isn't added already I dunno) 2) A bar indicating when and how long the wave is going(a good example is the minecraft raid bar that shows up for every wave) 3) Make the bullets a more distinct color like red or blue so that it contrast to the rest of the screen color
Ideas: - Add armor (and ores too) - Add weapons and weapon upgrades - And with those weapons, make some be able to be crafted and others dropped by enemies - Make some enemies have weapons - Some items will be found within areas of the game - Make some entities fight on your side - Add multiplayer - Some items can affect you or the enemies (like multipliers and power-ups) - Biomes where certain enemies spawn - Make enemies randomly generated (with different stats) instead of different fixed types of enemies, like a gradient perhaps - Lost vehicles, ranging from a bike to a tank - Native people which can attack or befriend you - And with those native people, make them trade - Bosses - A skill tree - Make oceans with enemies and ships - Different game modes - Potion crafting - Saving and pausing I feel like I can go on and on with the game ideas, but I think that will be enough for now
So happy you remade this game! Maybe you could add a dungeon where there could be spider enemies! In the end of the dungeon, there could be a reward like a weapon or armor.
I suggest you adding ores and a crafting and smelting mechanic so you can upgrade/create weapons and armor, add biomes with variations of the enemies (for example: snow/tundra biome variations are slower but can shoot projectiles, desert biome variations are faster and deal a lot more damage but they despawn after some time), and also add upgrades to the character (for example: health upgrades, damage upgrades, defense upgrades and etc).
As mobs get stronger, maybe the player should too. Perhaps being able to use your score to upgrade damage, health, speed, etc., sort of like investing your score to get a higher one.
Add a sling shot It could be like the gun but it could throw multiple things like Slimes:Stun enemies Rocks:Basic Baby chickens: Distract the zombie Apples:Basic Another thing i think you should add is the crossbow It could shoot enemies and cause them to bleed and take damage over time Another thing is water Water will make enemies go slower since they cannot swim You could also add goblins and enemies that are attached to a ballon Goblins would be fast and have low health instead of damaging you they would steal from you ballon enemies would need to be shot to pop the ballon and then killed like others A Inventory would also be useful when adding more stuff to the game Some obstacles like fallen tree's or bushes would be nice If you would add a crafting system add something that will instruct players on how to craft certain things Maybe 'special' items like poisonous chicken or insect infested stone would make some diffrence to the game And lastly Super foods Super foods would be something like Rare Chicken Legs Or Special apple They would help the player, Heal more hearts give you shield Increase your damage... Hey, I love the idea of turning this into a full game. I would also have some ideas for improvement: First: if you have a lava monster, you could add naturally generating lava pits where they spawn. Falling into a lava pit would also cause damage/kill the player. Ponds would also be great, they could spawn fish to eat and frogs to protect you (?) Second: bosses. I think this one is quite obvious and will be requested a lot. Third: "Biomes" you can maybe create some kind of biomes, maybe a lava biome and a swam biome. You find them while you explore the world or escape from enemies and they spawn new enemies or variations of the old ones. You can also get better materials there, to upgrade your gear And at last: naturally generating structures. Maybe have little castles or houses, where you can go inside, and you find spiders and ghost. You could even make a whole storyline. This game has a lot of potential, and I am really looking forward to see what you do 😀
Would be cool to add more weapons, maybe you could buy them in between the waves, like giving the player 30 seconds break to buy some armor/hp and new weapons ammo
I have some cool ideas: 1. You can change the color of ghosts to grey 2. You can add some kind of ending like escape in the ship 3. Add ores (that you can mine with pickaxe) and armor 4. Add new new types of trees with diferent color of planks (like palms) 5. Add foodbar (you must eat chicken meat)
Buy things with points or by completing certain achievements, like different guns, bullets, shields, armour, pets etc. Find cosmetics in the map randomly, to encourage exploring Different biomes with different monsters each. Different structures, like haunted house, dungeons that make the game harder once you enter it but give a lot more points Boss monsters somewhere randomly on the map The ability to change the difficulty of the enemies, like buff enemies, speedy enemies, all phase through enemies, etc Different game modes ( not able to stay in an area for long, night time ( smaller vision) , not endless, (building a structure where you have to survive in), etc) That's all I can think. You don't have to add those, I know some of them are hard and I am just making a suggestion.
Add a Goblin! At first it would seem like a weak enemy, it would be as fast as a skeleton but would do less damage, and would have less health. However, the goblin would have the ability to throw bombs! Whenever you're a certain distance away from it, the goblin would throw a bomb towards you, the explosion would have a range that would do A LOT of damage to to any enemies or players within it, it would also destroy trees and wood blocks. This would introduce friendly-fire to the game, the player could exploit the attack by making the goblin acidentally blow up a horde of enimies which would make them easier to kill. They should also spawn at a late wave, maybe Wave 4-5? Your choice.
More weapons, especially later when there are more enemies. Some kind of progression system (a lot of good ideas in the comments). Havent played it myself but he ghosts seem kind of op. Feels like your running away from ghost a lot of the time
Add achievements and some ground decoration. Oh, and birch wood from birch trees. It’s just recoloring the wood and redesigning the tree to be slightly smaller.
This game has come a pretty long way. Like mentioned though there’s definitely room for improvement and the cool part about survival games is that you can add just about anything and it’ll work. I think this game would be really fun with a multiplayer mode of some sort. Whether that be a versus or coop survival mode or whatnot. This game has a lot of stuff and I’m excited to see it being improved upon

Maybe you could make a T-Rex skeleton boss that spawns every 10 waves, at first it is easy to defeat but later it gets harder and harder to kill. At first it can only destroy wood, then trees at wave 20, then stone at wave 30. It is too big to pass through a 1 or 2 block wide gap, but it can pass through a 3 block wide gap. Whenever it appears only skeletons hould spawn. It should have the most hearts and the most damage of any monster. At wave 20 it will shoot bones from it mouth so you can't just camp and shoot it from the safety of your stone fortress. You could alo add a taser or a potion bottle where you can stun enemies for a short period of time, but it doesn't work on the T-Rex.
My idea is: when you survive like a very hard wave, there's gonna be a text, to tell you that a meteorite fell (also, the screen could shake) so.if you go to the meteorite, that's gonna have like a "dungeon" so, if you are there, monsters won't spawn, but, in the meteorite, you will have to figth some enemies, and one you get enough, you get an upgraded weapon (or just another weapon so you shoot 2 bullets)

Ideas I have: Add a shop (or something that serves the purpose of a shop) where you can get better weapons Make chickens have brains so if they see you with a weapon while chasing after them, they'll try to run away Make chickens lay eggs (you could throw them onto mobs to stun them, even if they're blocked by a wall Make a pond so you can hide underwater in it so certain mobs can't get to you for a small amount of time. (Maybe you could even collect the water in a bucket to throw at lava monsters to kill them?)
I would onestly like a "enemy page" or something like that . Also like "sinkers" (a placeholder name) a zombie covered in seaweed or with coral sticking out of it. Another idea of mine are goblins (green, greedy, and speedy little craps) that would steal another idea of mine currency (money or coins) (in my opinion coins fit better) like for upgrades on things like tree coping speed (axe), sword speed and damage, , gun fire rate , you get the point... Also for the green turds big goblins (smash with big sticks or with bare hands 50 percent stick 50 percent bare) small goblins (stabbing with pointy small sticks with speed) then goblin jabbers (jabbing harshly with two daggers) (and p.s. only small goblins, nomal goblins (that weild swords or not 50 50 each chance) ,and goblin jabbers can steal money Maybe enchanted forests with trees that have linings glowing a cyan or something for goblins to live in Crabs occasionally dance on shoe (with other crabs) and a small damage ,decent health, please be tamable, and a possible food sorce enough said. Caves with temples and dungeons with traps and special enemies like dungeon guards(undead), armored skeletons, and gear and loot Bosses I have been ready on bosses for too long, ok let's a go spider queen ( can summon spiderlings from damagable eggs that take some time to spawn them in however they can be killed as eggs. Also the boss can make webs to slow down the player, and has a small chance to inflict poison) queen bee that summons guard bees to defend (guard bees won't attack unless they feel threatened or the queen attacks you Then the goblins king a huge goblin with a huge sword that summons goblin archers and guards (goblin archers having leather made armor ,a quiver, a bow with arrows, and a knife for close combat. Then the goblin guards with one sword and wooden sheild and maybe armor
Put in cannons that can shoot monsters that cost specific items, and different types of cannons that deal more or less damage to certain monsters, and a the points determine with things the player can build. Also, try to add a hunger system, and a farm. Also, you should use animals more.

I`d say when the player dies, before respawning they are meet with an shop menu to buy weapons from, since blasting trough enemies with only a pistol isn`t that fun, u could also open the shop menu by pausing the game but the shop buy menu would only pop up 3 times before it only pauses the game, that way the player has to make desicions when to buy weapons and which. And i if u make a reloading mechanic, i`ll write a reasonable amount of bullets in the clip (u can chante it ofc if u wish to).Here are some weapons i tough would fit: {The pistol could have 12 bullets in a clip by default before reloading} -Dual pistols 8 Points (shots 2 bullets per click) { 2 guns= Double the amounts of bullets in clip, 24 but reloads slower} -An 357. Magnum Revolver 15 Points ( slower firing speed but deals more damage) {has 6 bullets before reloading, reloads a bit faster than the Dual Pistols} -A Shotgun 24 Points (shots 5 pellets which have a little bit weaker damage, but pretty lethal at close range) {it has 4 bullets loaded in, and when reloading, reloads 1 by 1 so its a lot more slower which leads to ammo conservation} -An Sub Machine Gun 32 Points (burst firing [shots 3 bullets per click] deals more than Dual pistols but not as strong as an revolver) {20 bullets in the clip, and reloads slightly faster than the shotgun} -M16/Ak-47 39 Points [depends on ur preference or both] (fully automatic and has high damage at longer ranges but weak at small range) {Both would have 30 bullets in the clip, and they would reload at the same speed of the Sub Machine Gun} -An M79 Grenade launcher 45 Points(shots 1 explosive bullet that could kill a lot of zombies in an small-decent area, good for emergency situations) {Since its a grenade launcher, well it holds 1 projectile before reloading and reloads faster than a shotgun but slower than an revolver} -A Sword 12 Points (deals low damage but has a high attack speed) { Since it`s a sword well, it dosen`t need to reload but has a 0.5 attack cooldown so that it can`t be spammed and become overpowered} - A Blowgun 20 Points (shots an poisonous dart that deals damage overtime for 2.5 seconds) {holds 1 dart before reloading, reloads faster than the any of the guns, except the sword} Those we`re my ideas for guns (in case u add them but pls do so its more cool) ofc u can change whatever u want to them or add them like this. Oh and the player can gather points only after the 1st 6 deaths, after them, the player looses all the points gathered and weapons and starts again from the pistol, but if they don`t die they can just keep getting more points and more weapons. I've got an idea you can use: At the end of each wave, instead of despawning, any monsters you fail to kill leave behind remains. Then you can clean up/salvage materials from the remains, and zombie or skeleton remains that are left behind spawn a new skeleton or zombie at the start of the next wave. Skeleton remains would be a pile of bones Zombie remains are a headstone/grave Ghosts leave behind nothing Lava monsters leave behind coal and ash that you can use to make traps
Three ideas: 1. Every ten waves a boss 2. A shop where you can buy stuff with points 3. More than 1 island, normal, lava and ice all with special enemies.
I suggest a minimap on the corner so you can see where you're exploring and where your base is and hopefully a multiplayer system. Dungeons with bette guns or tools sound fun as well
Some ideas i guess: Character animation, like blinking eyes or walking animation. Maybe drooling zombies idk. A shop where you can spend your points on weapons/better tools. Potions for speed/strengh/mining speed etc. Alternate idea for the shop: Let enemies drop certain items like bones/ectoplasm or smth, and use those items to buy stuff at the shop. Synergies: If you have like, a certain weapon and use a monster item on it, it gains a temporary buff. Weather: Maybe it rains sometimes or it's snowing or it's windy, now imagine the weather affects the enemies in different ways like for example: Wind gives the ghosts a higher spawn rate or makes them a bit faster. Snow gives zombies an ice buff which slows the player if a zombie bites you, but the lava dude becomes normal stone cuz it's cold, which makes him easier to kill. Rain could maybe spawn new enemies that are water based, like shark zombies or mini zombies that look like jellyfish (the lava dude might be too hot for rain to affect him i guess, or just makes him slower? idk) Dungeons in which you can find things that you can make better weapons with, but inside the dungeons are dangerous golems that throw rocks at u :) And maybe more, i can probably come up with a lot more i guess idk :/ Well, if any of my ideas seem interesting to any of you, feel free to tell me :D

*idea* : this enemy has a special neck which is stuck looking downwards and has a cool hearing mechanic, when you run you make tracks and noise which it can sense from a certain range since it's face is always looking down it can see you footprints and trace them, actions such as chopping trees, mining blocks, and using weapon(s) also make noise some actions are louder than others and... if you are going to implement this, then please feel free to discard or add anything
2:47 It's impressive how in 2 days, you made a better enemy AI then I made in weeks because they have pathfinding and mine just walk to the player in a straight line. To be fair, I spent my time on different things.
i think you should add potions or some other object that increases your maximum hearts (to a certain extent) like life fruits from terraria a day/night system would make the game more atmospheric, maybe ghosts and skeletons would only appear during night, while the others appear during day you should add bosses that randomly spawn after a certain amount of days, they could also have tons of health and do a good amount of damage, and break through any block as an idea for a monster, maybe some sort of mimic that takes the form of a tree but transforms into a ghoul when the player grows too near and begins to attack
Add random grass or based on the theme maybe some "straw", add trees in groups of medium, small, large, make the trees at an odd angle, add slight swaying to them, add slight movement to the grass when you walk over it, add some simple lighting effects, make particle effects for the player and the enemies, and make the screen shake everytime one of your bullets connects with an enemy and shake a different way when their hits connect with the player
Things that would be cool to add: Health upgrades Weapon upgrades Different weapon types that have advantages like stronger but slower or weaker but longer range/wider spread Very large zombies that don’t attack you but will throw any zombie except the big ones over walls Stronger materials to mine that require stronger axes to mine Stairs that let you jump over walls Water that you can’t pass but zombies can
You should make bosses every ten waves, they could also be randomized A boss could be the grim reaper that is the always in the second state of the ghost but it could get hurt also it could have a ranged attack and spawn ghosts. A boss could be the valcanic titan that could stomp to hurt the player, send out lava monsters and break structures A boss could be the Skelton horse man he could spawn skeletons and throw bones at you The last boss I came up with was the zombie ultra form whitch could spawn baby and regular zombies and throw those zombies at buildings.
I suggest areas and spawning mechanics. For example, Skeletons spawn more frequently near Graveyards, Ghosts only spawn near Graveyards and can spawn when a wave isn't running but won't hurt when they do, Lava Monsters only spawn near Volcanoes.
Definitely add different guns, and armor plates. Also I personally think you should do more of a health bar instead of the three hearts system, also RPG, love your work, keep it up!!
You should make a tool called the vacuum cleaner to suck up the ghost . And you should make more weapons and they can have cooldowns. And you should make it were the monsters drop the parts to make the weapons. And you should make them have walking animations
Make a skill point type shop, where you can unlock blueprints for the points you get for killing monsters, and you can craft them with more materials that you can add.
You should add.. 1. Defenses ( such as armor and towers ) 2. Fruit ( the fruit give you a speed boost 3. Helpers ( npc’s that help you defeat the zombies but have less health/shortrange/swords 4. Upgrades ( you can collect helpful materials such as gold and iron and upgrade your axe/gun Thats all for now😊
Wow the game is so simple but yet fun and adorable. But one thing comes to my mind when i'm thinking abot defeating waves of monsters, is just some rest in between "waves", and of course: stats (how many you killed, how many bullet you spent, how many hp restored). As a reference i can think of Team Fortress 2 MvM wave completion money stats, that gives me so many emotions.

I have an idea for an enemy, so you have lava monsters? Why not water monsters? Or grass monsters? Also it would be cool for more food sources. Such as cows, sheep and pigs. Or possibly a special food source that gives you magic food. Thanks for listening!
Here's an idea: Add a trader that will appear now and then after you have beaten a certain amount of waves. The trader could for example offer upgrades or other stuff to improve your characther - maybe the player could use the points earned by killing enemies buying items, forcing the player to play more aggresively.
A new block, Turret Eye, its basically a turret that shoots enemies down, when they get destroyed however, It explodes, killing anything in its radius.
An idea i had that you could maybe add to your game is a start menu with different difficulties. For example you could have Normal mode and Hard mode. In normal mode every would be... normal. but in hard mode you can add some features to make the game more challenging. for example every wave gets longer and enemies are much stronger. Another idea i had was that maybe after a certain amount of waves there would be a boss. so lets say for example every 8-10 waves a boss spawns. The boss would be able to break any block has a lot of health and deals a lot of damage. Anyway, that's a very epic game you made there.
IDEA: every 15 minutes, all enemies would die and a Vengeful Spirit would spawn. It would basically be a boss. It would be SUPER fast, ULTRA strong, have TONS of health, and could go through ANYTHING. It would randomly spawn slow, weak, enemies with little health that could also go through anything called Lost Souls. The vengeful spirit would have a ranged and melee attack and would spawn right in the center of the island. As long as it was on-screen, it could hit you with the ranged attack. Also, add a sword. It would be a melee weapon. Goodbye!
New enemy: Goo giant: low health, but when killed spawns two tiny goo monsters. New weapon: Laser gun: high damage, but has a cooldown after a bit. New item: Blast shield: repulses enemies when used, has a cooldown after use. New boss: Goo goliath: Bunch of health, when damaged spawns Goo giants but gets smaller every time it does that. New character: Big boy Jon: More health and is stronger, but moves slower. That was all that I could think of.
You should add an enemy that doesn't attack, but if other enemies are in range: make those enemies faster and stronger for a few seconds (obviously, the enemy should have a like 10 second cooldown for when it uses its ability. Maybe 20?)
You should add boss battles every 10 rounds and when you get a certain amount of points you unlock a cave system with harder enemies and new blocks. You should be able to buy stuff after boss battles.
you should add a thing that when you get 50 points you can go to the middle of the map and get a respawn at the cost of points you can only buy one per game.

The first thing that came to mind was that if you could make a big box which has side lengths double the amount of max distance needed for a zombie to start breaking wood, and stood inside it, zombies would never get through the walls, ever. Solutions to that would be making monsters spawn everywhere, or instead of having them break wood when close to the player, they could check whether another path is even possible, if not, it would start breaking wood. Maybe you already did this and just didn't include it in the video idk

some cool enemies: -burning zombie- runs fast, loses healst over time, breaks wood quickly and after death explodes. -zombie chicken- looks like a chicken but turns green when you come close, fast low health, high damage. -iron statue- doesn't move, drops iron wich you can buid with, statue and iron have insanly high healh, statues spawn at high rounds and make monster close by more resistant, iron can be melted by lava monster.
You know the ghosts? Well, since its impossible to attack them, thats really op. I think you should make ghosts possess you and go closer to enemies while also lowering your damage.
more textures and a scythe weapon to kill ghosts in any state. Add small mines around to get dynamite to use with stone to build grenades. Add gun upgrades. (These are suggestions and I know they look like demands, but they are just suggestions that came off wrong.)

I have a lengthy suggestion list, turning this game from a fun side project, to possibly competing for (game of the year).
1- some loose rocks available that don't need a pickaxs, just walk towards it and you have it.
2- you start with only 1 ax, no gun, no pickaxe.
3- some buildings:
a- build a furnance/smelter (5 stones)
b- build a workbench (5 wood - 1 stone)
4- in the furnance, you put 1 stone (ore) and 1 wood (feul) to make 1 metal bar.
5- each enemy who dies can leave 1 magic crystal (resource).
6- on the work bench you can make the following tools:
- shovel (1 wood - 1 metal).
- pickaxe (1 wood - 2 metal).
- wooden door (4 wood - 1 metal).
- metal door (5 metal).
- wooden bridge (10 wood - 2 metal) can be placed over trenches and rivers.
- stone bridge ( 10 stones) can be placed over trenches and rivers.
- gun level 1 (5 metal - 1 magic crystal).

I have some ideas that I would like to share. First:The ghosts should slow down if their going through a wall. Second:You should add some like traps that the player can place to kill monsters. It would also be cool if you would add some npc were you can buy new guns and armor.

I am very happy that you are remaking this game, as I personally think it could be addictive with more features! Here are some things I recommend.
1. One thing that I find weird, is the fact that the character is just white, along with everything else the character has. I personally think you should make the character have texture. Maybe make him be skin colored, and have some clothes. Make his items colored as well, too!
2. The textures. The texture's are fine as they are, but I think the ground could be more textured. Make it look more sandy. Also, make the tree textures more complex too. Everything else is probably fine. Maybe stone would look good with a complex texture? I also think you should change the texture for stone you collected. Make it look more like a stone brick wall, than a stone plank wall.
3. Biomes. This isn't something you have to do, but could do if you want. You could add a grassy biome, where more trees could be, which could also have more animals. That's the only biome idea I have, but, make your own biome ideas!
4. The characters texture when moving. I know this may be hard to texture, but maybe you could make it where, when the characters move a certain way, there texture changes. Like if they go left, there character changes to look like they're going left. And if they look right, then they look right. And same thing with backwards.
I think if you add a small multiplier to your score depending on the wave then it would encourage both killing and surviving, which I think would be cool

1) A time where enemies do not spawn inbetween waves(if that isn't added already I dunno)
2) A bar indicating when and how long the wave is going(a good example is the minecraft raid bar that shows up for every wave)
3) Make the bullets a more distinct color like red or blue so that it contrast to the rest of the screen color

I suggest you adding ores and a crafting and smelting mechanic so you can upgrade/create weapons and armor, add biomes with variations of the enemies (for example: snow/tundra biome variations are slower but can shoot projectiles, desert biome variations are faster and deal a lot more damage but they despawn after some time), and also add upgrades to the character (for example: health upgrades, damage upgrades, defense upgrades and etc).
You could make a spider enemy that would shoot you with nets and each net would stop you for 3 seconds
As mobs get stronger, maybe the player should too. Perhaps being able to use your score to upgrade damage, health, speed, etc., sort of like investing your score to get a higher one.

Hey, I love the idea of turning this into a full game. I would also have some ideas for improvement:
First: if you have a lava monster, you could add naturally generating lava pits where they spawn. Falling into a lava pit would also cause damage/kill the player. Ponds would also be great, they could spawn fish to eat and frogs to protect you (?)
Second: bosses. I think this one is quite obvious and will be requested a lot.
Third: "Biomes" you can maybe create some kind of biomes, maybe a lava biome and a swam biome. You find them while you explore the world or escape from enemies and they spawn new enemies or variations of the old ones. You can also get better materials there, to upgrade your gear
And at last: naturally generating structures. Maybe have little castles or houses, where you can go inside, and you find spiders and ghost. You could even make a whole storyline.
This game has a lot of potential, and I am really looking forward to see what you do 😀

Add a Goblin! At first it would seem like a weak enemy, it would be as fast as a skeleton but would do less damage, and would have less health. However, the goblin would have the ability to throw bombs!
Whenever you're a certain distance away from it, the goblin would throw a bomb towards you, the explosion would have a range that would do A LOT of damage to to any enemies or players within it, it would also destroy trees and wood blocks.
This would introduce friendly-fire to the game, the player could exploit the attack by making the goblin acidentally blow up a horde of enimies which would make them easier to kill.
They should also spawn at a late wave, maybe Wave 4-5? Your choice.
More weapons, especially later when there are more enemies. Some kind of progression system (a lot of good ideas in the comments). Havent played it myself but he ghosts seem kind of op. Feels like your running away from ghost a lot of the time
Add achievements and some ground decoration. Oh, and birch wood from birch trees. It’s just recoloring the wood and redesigning the tree to be slightly smaller.
This game has come a pretty long way. Like mentioned though there’s definitely room for improvement and the cool part about survival games is that you can add just about anything and it’ll work. I think this game would be really fun with a multiplayer mode of some sort. Whether that be a versus or coop survival mode or whatnot. Maybe you could make a T-Rex skeleton boss that spawns every 10 waves, at first it is easy to defeat but later it gets harder and harder to kill. At first it can only destroy wood, then trees at wave 20, then stone at wave 30. It is too big to pass through a 1 or 2 block wide gap, but it can pass through a 3 block wide gap. Whenever it appears only skeletons hould spawn. It should have the most hearts and the most damage of any monster. At wave 20 it will shoot bones from it mouth so you can't just camp and shoot it from the safety of your stone fortress. You could alo add a taser or a potion bottle where you can stun enemies for a short period of time, but it doesn't work on the T-Rex.

Make chickens lay eggs (you could throw them onto mobs to stun them, even if they're blocked by a wall
Make a pond so you can hide underwater in it so certain mobs can't get to you for a small amount of time. (Maybe you could even collect the water in a bucket to throw at lava monsters to kill them?)

Also the boss can make webs to slow down the player, and has a small chance to inflict poison) queen bee that summons guard bees to defend (guard bees won't attack unless they feel threatened or the queen attacks you
Then the goblins king a huge goblin with a huge sword that summons goblin archers and guards (goblin archers having leather made armor ,a quiver, a bow with arrows, and a knife for close combat. Then the goblin guards with one sword and wooden sheild and maybe armor
Put in cannons that can shoot monsters that cost specific items, and different types of cannons that deal more or less damage to certain monsters, and a the points determine with things the player can build. Also, try to add a hunger system, and a farm. Also, you should use animals more.

I`d say when the player dies, before respawning they are meet with an shop menu to buy weapons from, since blasting trough enemies with only a pistol isn`t that fun, u could also open the shop menu by pausing the game but the shop buy menu would only pop up 3 times before it only pauses the game, that way the player has to make desicions when to buy weapons and which. And i if u make a reloading mechanic, i`ll write a reasonable amount of bullets in the clip (u can chante it ofc if u wish to).Here are some weapons i tough would fit: {The pistol could have 12 bullets in a clip by default before reloading}
-Dual pistols 8 Points (shots 2 bullets per click) { 2 guns= Double the amounts of bullets in clip, 24 but reloads slower}
-An 357. Magnum Revolver 15 Points ( slower firing speed but deals more damage) {has 6 bullets before reloading, reloads a bit faster than the Dual Pistols}
-A Shotgun 24 Points (shots 5 pellets which have a little bit weaker damage, but pretty lethal at close range) {it has 4 bullets loaded in, and when reloading, reloads 1 by 1 so its a lot more slower which leads to ammo conservation}
-An Sub Machine Gun 32 Points (burst firing [shots 3 bullets per click] deals more than Dual pistols but not as strong as an revolver) {20 bullets in the clip, and reloads slightly faster than the shotgun}
-M16/Ak-47 39 Points [depends on ur preference or both] (fully automatic and has high damage at longer ranges but weak at small range)
{Both would have 30 bullets in the clip, and they would reload at the same speed of the Sub Machine Gun}
-An M79 Grenade launcher 45 Points(shots 1 explosive bullet that could kill a lot of zombies in an small-decent area, good for emergency situations) {Since its a grenade launcher, well it holds 1 projectile before reloading and reloads faster than a shotgun but slower than an revolver}
-A Sword 12 Points (deals low damage but has a high attack speed) { Since it`s a sword well, it dosen`t need to reload but has a 0.5 attack cooldown so that it can`t be spammed and become overpowered}
- A Blowgun 20 Points (shots an poisonous dart that deals damage overtime for 2.5 seconds) {holds 1 dart before reloading, reloads faster than the any of the guns, except the sword}
Those we`re my ideas for guns (in case u add them but pls do so its more cool) ofc u can change whatever u want to them or add them like this. Oh and the player can gather points only after the 1st 6 deaths, after them, the player looses all the points gathered and weapons and starts again from the pistol, but if they don`t die they can just keep getting more points and more weapons. Hope to see any of my ideas in a demo or maybe the full game! Good job on games as always!
I've got an idea you can use: At the end of each wave, instead of despawning, any monsters you fail to kill leave behind remains. Then you can clean up/salvage materials from the remains, and zombie or skeleton remains that are left behind spawn a new skeleton or zombie at the start of the next wave.
Skeleton remains would be a pile of bones
Zombie remains are a headstone/grave
Ghosts leave behind nothing
Lava monsters leave behind coal and ash that you can use to make traps
I miss the old texture of the ghost (it used to be gray) but nice work, I can't wait to play it

If you have like, a certain weapon and use a monster item on it, it gains a temporary buff.
Weather:
Maybe it rains sometimes or it's snowing or it's windy,
now imagine the weather affects the enemies in different ways like for example:
Wind gives the ghosts a higher spawn rate or makes them a bit faster.
Snow gives zombies an ice buff which slows the player if a zombie bites you,
but the lava dude becomes normal stone cuz it's cold, which makes him easier to kill.
Rain could maybe spawn new enemies that are water based, like shark zombies or mini zombies that look like jellyfish
(the lava dude might be too hot for rain to affect him i guess, or just makes him slower? idk)
Dungeons in which you can find things that you can make better weapons with, but inside the dungeons are dangerous golems that throw rocks at u :)
And maybe more, i can probably come up with a lot more i guess idk :/

*idea* : this enemy has a special neck which is stuck looking downwards and has a cool hearing mechanic, when you run you make tracks and noise which it can sense from a certain range
since it's face is always looking down it can see you footprints and trace them, actions such as chopping trees, mining blocks, and using weapon(s) also make noise

2:47 It's impressive how in 2 days, you made a better enemy AI then I made in weeks because they have pathfinding and mine just walk to the player in a straight line. To be fair, I spent my time on different things.

Different weapon types that have advantages like stronger but slower or weaker but longer range/wider spread
Very large zombies that don’t attack you but will throw any zombie except the big ones over walls
Stronger materials to mine that require stronger axes to mine
Stairs that let you jump over walls
Water that you can’t pass but zombies can
ideas:
-make boss fight
-make dash (can go thru the enemy)
-make duo sword
-make server (that can play on multiplayer)
Here’s an Idea, add structures like houses or other things to make the game more interesting. You could also add different biomes
You should make bosses every ten waves, they could also be randomized
A boss could be the grim reaper that is the always in the second state of the ghost but it could get hurt also it could have a ranged attack and spawn ghosts.
A boss could be the valcanic titan that could stomp to hurt the player, send out lava monsters and break structures
A boss could be the Skelton horse man he could spawn skeletons and throw bones at you
The last boss I came up with was the zombie ultra form whitch could spawn baby and regular zombies and throw those zombies at buildings.
I suggest areas and spawning mechanics. For example, Skeletons spawn more frequently near Graveyards, Ghosts only spawn near Graveyards and can spawn when a wave isn't running but won't hurt when they do, Lava Monsters only spawn near Volcanoes.
Definitely add different guns, and armor plates. Also I personally think you should do more of a health bar instead of the three hearts system, also RPG, love your work, keep it up!!
You should make a tool called the vacuum cleaner to suck up the ghost . And you should make more weapons and they can have cooldowns. And you should make it were the monsters drop the parts to make the weapons. And you should make them have walking animations
Make a skill point type shop, where you can unlock blueprints for the points you get for killing monsters, and you can craft them with more materials that you can add.
This honestly kind of reminds me of a 2-D quick version of Minecraft and I’m living for it
You should add..
1. Defenses ( such as armor and towers )
2. Fruit ( the fruit give you a speed boost
3. Helpers ( npc’s that help you defeat the zombies but have less health/shortrange/swords
4. Upgrades ( you can collect helpful materials such as gold and iron and upgrade your axe/gun

Wow the game is so simple but yet fun and adorable. But one thing comes to my mind when i'm thinking abot defeating waves of monsters, is just some rest in between "waves", and of course: stats (how many you killed, how many bullet you spent, how many hp restored). As a reference i can think of Team Fortress 2 MvM wave completion money stats, that gives me so many emotions.

I have an idea for an enemy, so you have lava monsters? Why not water monsters? Or grass monsters? Also it would be cool for more food sources. Such as cows, sheep and pigs. Or possibly a special food source that gives you magic food. Thanks for listening!
Here's an idea: Add a trader that will appear now and then after you have beaten a certain amount of waves. The trader could for example offer upgrades or other stuff to improve your characther - maybe the player could use the points earned by killing enemies buying items, forcing the player to play more aggresively.
A new block, Turret Eye, its basically a turret that shoots enemies down, when they get destroyed however, It explodes, killing anything in its radius.
An idea i had that you could maybe add to your game is a start menu with different difficulties. For example you could have Normal mode and Hard mode. In normal mode every would be... normal. but in hard mode you can add some features to make the game more challenging. for example every wave gets longer and enemies are much stronger. Another idea i had was that maybe after a certain amount of waves there would be a boss. so lets say for example every 8-10 waves a boss spawns. The boss would be able to break any block has a lot of health and deals a lot of damage. Anyway, that's a very epic game you made there.
IDEA: every 15 minutes, all enemies would die and a Vengeful Spirit would spawn. It would basically be a boss. It would be SUPER fast, ULTRA strong, have TONS of health, and could go through ANYTHING. It would randomly spawn slow, weak, enemies with little health that could also go through anything called Lost Souls. The vengeful spirit would have a ranged and melee attack and would spawn right in the center of the island. As long as it was on-screen, it could hit you with the ranged attack. Also, add a sword. It would be a melee weapon. Goodbye!
New enemy: Goo giant: low health, but when killed spawns two tiny goo monsters. New weapon: Laser gun: high damage, but has a cooldown after a bit. New item: Blast shield: repulses enemies when used, has a cooldown after use. New boss: Goo goliath: Bunch of health, when damaged spawns Goo giants but gets smaller every time it does that. New character: Big boy Jon: More health and is stronger, but moves slower. That was all that I could think of.
You should add an enemy that doesn't attack, but if other enemies are in range: make those enemies faster and stronger for a few seconds (obviously, the enemy should have a like 10 second cooldown for when it uses its ability. Maybe 20?)
You should add boss battles every 10 rounds and when you get a certain amount of points you unlock a cave system with harder enemies and new blocks. You should be able to buy stuff after boss battles.
you should add a thing that when you get 50 points you can go to the middle of the map and get a respawn at the cost of points you can only buy one per game.
An idea to add: 4 slots only because player can get so many items they need be limited
Enemy idea: chaser basically chases you and breaks wood, stone,trees, faster than others He doesn’t do any damage and it’s just there to scare you.
Work little on feedback like camerashake when shoot or get enemies killed

The first thing that came to mind was that if you could make a big box which has side lengths double the amount of max distance needed for a zombie to start breaking wood, and stood inside it, zombies would never get through the walls, ever. Solutions to that would be making monsters spawn everywhere, or instead of having them break wood when close to the player, they could check whether another path is even possible, if not, it would start breaking wood. Maybe you already did this and just didn't include it in the video idk
Intelligent zombie: it can cut down trees to make a ladder and get over your wall
Ladder: you know what to do I said it in the Intelligent zombies code or somthing
Bosses, textures, animations, gun knock back on enemies, and finally more weapons.
some cool enemies:
-burning zombie- runs fast, loses healst over time, breaks wood quickly and after death explodes.
-zombie chicken- looks like a chicken but turns green when you come close, fast low health, high damage.
-iron statue- doesn't move, drops iron wich you can buid with, statue and iron have insanly high healh, statues spawn at high rounds and make monster close by more resistant, iron can be melted by lava monster.
How about you add pets like dogs that if you tame them, they fight monsters for you? Or shields? Swords? Just ideas for the game.
Adding a ghost boss
You know the ghosts? Well, since its impossible to attack them, thats really op. I think you should make ghosts possess you and go closer to enemies while also lowering your damage.
more textures and a scythe weapon to kill ghosts in any state. Add small mines around to get dynamite to use with stone to build grenades. Add gun upgrades. (These are suggestions and I know they look like demands, but they are just suggestions that came off wrong.)
Definitely Add some better looking terrain as well as day and night time cycles. Also I would love some impassable Lakes
You really should add a tree monster.
The tree has a 15% chance to (when broken) turn into a tree monster.
