  • We got the opportunity to do quick ride video on the Stark Varg finally thanks to Starr Cycle. Having ridden and enjoyed the KTM Freeride and Alta electric MX platforms in the past, I was excited to see how the Stark performed. The camera angle is not ideal and I would have liked to get some 3rd person video, but we can improve in these areas in future videos.

Thanks! It's not adjustable in the app yet but is soon coming I was told. It does have some level of wheel slip control in there for sure. When climbing really steep hills and the rear spins up, you can audibly hear and feel it cut back and ramp down before ramping back in again all with the same throttle position. It actually made it a bit hard to maintain momentum with the power ramping out and back in by itself. It had the same feeling when sliding flat corners and wanted to get on the throttle more but the tire would slip. It won't maintain a slide, but the big ramp up spike is limited and can't be adjusted yet. Similar to how honda and KTM do it on their 450's by changing timing when there is too big of an engine RPM rate change.
