Don't forget his great hair. Damn, this man has great hair for a man in his late 40s. I am 30 and i wish i had his hair. Yeah, random comment, but damn.
I could spend an entire Quarantine listening to this great man speak and express his ideas and craft, I love you Sam, I wish for u to never stop creating art.
He is so positive. It always a pleasure just listening him. Sam Lake is half Max Payne and half Alan Wake. Great storyteller and another legend of game industry
Always interesting watching this man talk. All their games have been impactful in their own way. Can't wait to see their future projects rise from the void
Great presentation. I love all the games that remedy has created. A part of me still wish they had the license for Max Payne, but i'm also happy they branched out because i love Alan Wake so very much and i can't wait to see what their next project is.
"We're hiring" I'm so stupid for not having been born 10 years earlier and not getting a Master's degree in game design. Being honest now, working for Remedy Entertainment would be a dream come true, but I know nothing about how to make a game.
What brand leather jacket is that? I can’t make it out. All I can tell is the brand tag in the inside of the jacket, it’s three rectangles that make up a triangle pyramid.
One question, why didn't he mention Max Payne 3 at all? I've been skipping trough some parts, maybe I missed it, but I haven't seen it in the pannels of the Max Payne franchise though, nor have i seen Sam talk about it after he finished with M.P. 2. Feels like they are embarrased with the game or something.
@@Anw4rr10r apart from that, i get the impression he has some hard feelings about that fact. It's natural too, since they took away from them a franchise they had worked very hard on. Actually, is the one that put them on the big league, I guess. It's sad, because the game (in my opinion) has some very damn good quality. It's not the Max Payne Remedy had created, but it's a very good Max Payne altogether, I liked the new direction.
@@jesusgomezcope1744 From what I heard Remedy was consulted for Max Payne 3 and Remedy approved the game. I love all the Max Payne games, even if the 3rd one wasn't made by Remedy, Rockstar did an amazing job, they didn't rush the development or anything, they really took their time and it shows
@@harry1178 it paid off, too, because they used Max Payne 3 as a steping stone for the shooting mechanics in red dead redemption. The gameplay in MP3 is superb, is one of those games i come back to once in a while. The atmosphere, the soundtrack, the dialogue... I just love it. It's greedy, it's dark. Stefano Matta Kojima is a better game designer, but for the stories, Sam Lake is the number one in the world.

it was 20 years ago that they shot these photos for the comics in max payne 1 - and Sam Lake still looks the part now.

Me too.
It's actually rude for the audience to disturb a presentation. This is not a stand-up comedy.

The moment he put on the Payne regalia, my face just lit up from seeing my childhood hero 😎🤘
