  • This is ok for rolling home made pasta, but really I find a rolling pin much easier, faster and a lot less difficult to clean. This is my opinion for just the flat roller and not the kitchenaid fettucini or linguini pasta cutters, which definitely do the job you want done.

I've had mine for over 8 years now, no problems with making pasta three to five times a week.

I love my KA pasta roller... When it doesn't dislodge with pasta rolling through it and having the whole unit pasta and all rolling around and around until I stop the machine and pop the attachment back into the mixer again. It seems the little black post at the back of the KA isn't long enough to securely attach and keep in place the roller attachment. So through the process of making pasta I have to tap the attachment back in place 'while' rolling my pasta. Arghhhh! But I do love it when it works! The concept is great!

I had to replace this twice since the rollers started squeeking and not turning. It's impossible to clean as well as grease. I recommend not paying the crazy amount of money for this and get something better. It is also impossible to take apart.

I agree. There's a lot better ones out there for close to the same price. And they do more too.

Did you but the pasta roller seperately w/o the cutters? I thought the pasta roller attachments were sold in a set.
