After a few bad experiences with the ravioli maker a few years ago, I decided to try it again. I watched a couple of videos to see if that would help. I gave it another try. The hopper gets in the way of the outer two rows. I got one good row out of the first try. The ravioli got caught and bunched up in the middle on the second try. I put the machine away and it was so much easier to do without it.
Something not shown is that there is a rod that slides out of the top of the drying rack that can be used to pick up the pasta as comes through the cutter and makes it very easy to hang the pasta neatly on the rack without any bunching. I find it extremely handy.
I have the pasta roller/ravioli attachments plus a lot of other stuff for the KA. My poor stand mixer has made so many things. LOVE my KitchenAid, best thing you can buy!
Thank you! I just got my artisan after asking for 15 years! Your videos are great! You have a great voice! I would like to know how much filling can each ravioli handle; like, if I wanted a fuller ravioli, can that be done?
Love Kitchenaid! Love my pasta. I hope Kitchenaid desides to make a similar device for larger ravioli. One that two square ravioli across instead of three. I like larger raviolis :)
I love this attachment! How to make pasta dough? I bet the carbs/calories would be the same as my bread, which is 1/4 the amount of store bought bread. And, it's the same with peanut butter. Home-made food seems to cut 3/4 of the carbs or calories. Some breads are 30 carbs a slice but home-made can be 7 carbs a slice. And I use organic flour! ?..coconut or almond milk, chia seeds, so nutritious, soak in water with yeast, 1T or more... (weight loss too). My vita-mix is great for peanut butter, smoothies..choo banana ice cream from frozen peeled bananas...maple syrup, coconut milk...cho, etc, but P-butter...just throw in the peanuts, start out slow and increase the speed, walla, peanut butter to your liking, smooth or crunchy! And again, 1/4 the carbs/calories of store bought and...no added oil!, just the oil from the peanuts which is enough for great peanut butter!
Just watched another perfectly impeccable presentation.Thumbs up. Love the idea of getting more from my kitchen aid. The music detracts, though, and is an absolute irritation.
Initially after first press, fold into 3, like an envelope, rotate so folded edges are perpendicular to rollers. Increment setting +1, send it through again, now fold in half, rotate, hopefully width not bigger than rollers, after that pass through the all settings. By doing it this way you won't get those ragged edges. Dough should feel leather like before starting. Ciao.

The ravioli maker seems unnecessary since you don’t even use the mixer to power the attachment which is the point of the attachments. Super convenient sure but I don’t think it’s worth probably the $50 or more it cost
You know that's what I'm saying... I have a hand ravioli maker you roll the raviolis out on so it cuts out 12 giant raviolis. I wanted this until I saw it's not mechanical. Cute, but not worth extra money when I can do the same thing at home.
"Not washable" is an epic fail of engineering for a food making attachment. Quite disappointing kitchenaid, get it together and refine this product. Sealed barings are not a thing you know?
I couldn't agree more. All of these attachments should be washable. How are you supposed to clean these attachments without water and soap? Pls let us know.
Some interesting devices but couldn’t you’ve got an old Sicilian woman so she could’ve talked about how this makes her life so much easier to make pasta.
@@waywardspirit7898 just because some people want to change the meaning of words doesn't mean I'll be going along with it . I say what I mean and I mean what I say. This machine doesn’t either time or energy, I have no idea why it sells so expensive. I personally don’t like to spend time on washing these attachments.
I know somebody already said it but still You don't wash the attachments the only one you can wash is the ravioli one (the part of the extruder) and only by hand
brava!!! alla fine c'era qualquna come me a rendersi conto...io voleva dire una barzelletta parlando di come stavano mallate quelle galline XD... o chi sa se lei aveva aggiunto l'uova all'impasto o magari no...boh!
Just got my KitchenAid no spring on my beater shaft so my attachment just jumps up and down erratically no quality assurance call KitchenAid customer service live and said they don't put spring on anymore now I've been waiting on a new one for over 2 weeks their customer service sucks
Master chef to do what Italian food? Most of the products you sell are expensive and hardly useful for Indian kitchen have you thought of introducing attachments for Indian market it can be as simple as a coconut grater or a press that can press steamed rice balls/cakes to make samia or a rice batter grinder, By the way whats with attachments are not supposed to be washed is it hygienic to use food attachments without washing them, as an Indian consumer i can only see your standmixer as a white elephant with no real use in an Indian kitchen, I am not discouraging you guys i am just hoping you guys can innovate also i am not just some random video watcher i own your 6.9 liter commercial heavy-duty 1.3 hp stand mixer in cherry red colour and kind of regretting my expensive purchase due to the limited use and expensive attachments sold separate which have hardly any use in an Indian kitchen.
Your demo was very good and this is a versatile machine. However, if you cook Italian food you need to pronounce it correctly. Not FETTUCINI. It is FETTUCINE, pronounced FET-OO-CHIN-AY. OGRE is a monster. AUGER is a tool to clear a drain with, or a pipe. Thanks for the demo and your lovely presence!
Thank you for showing us a clear demonstration of all these fantastic attachments. Greetings from Florida, USA. All the best!

She's the best demo presenter!! Impressive!
Hi, if the doug has butter and eggs in it, how can I clean the roller only with a brush? as you mentioned the roller cannot be immersed in water.
Initially after first press, fold into 3, like an envelope, rotate so folded edges are perpendicular to rollers. Increment setting +1, send it through again, now fold in half, rotate, hopefully width not bigger than rollers, after that pass through the all settings. That's great information! Thank you for that advice.
il hope we also have here that kind of kitchen aid and other uses for pasta and ravioli
Beautiful! Thnks for all! I love India and KitchenAid! Kisses from Brazil, RJ.

It's like a traditional broom that needs to be attached to a vacuum cleaner pipe.

Although KitchenAid is expensive up front if you take care of it
It will pay itself off
Très beau tuto ..Jolie Jeune fille ..!!

This machine doesn’t either time or energy, I have no idea why it sells so expensive. I personally don’t like to spend time on washing these attachments.
If you listened you “don’t wash the attachments. You let them dry with the residue of the pasta and use the brush to clean them.
I know somebody already said it but still
You don't wash the attachments the only one you can wash is the ravioli one (the part of the extruder) and only by hand

Chef ANisha needs a bit more practice with her pasta making.
The music is so annoying.
too long to do pasta....

Look very amateur way of using this pasta attachment. Not impress !
Forget the machine where can I meet such beautiful woman.
Lascia perdere ....non è il tuo mestiere!
if kitchen aid can't hire someone that speaks English then I do not need to watch
