I found your review searching for help on my new Antree attachment I got for Christmas! I'd love to see you expand on the review going over cleaning with that giant toothbrush. :)
I had no issues. The top popped right off and if you flour the dough enough going through you get very little mess. I used the little brush that came with it and ran it under some cold water and scrubbed.
Enjoyed your review, that looks a super cool attachment you have there. I always think there's nothing quite like fresh pasta, I like making home made lasagne with mine but I roll it out by hand... Maybe it's time I invested in one....😊 Have a fun week and I'll catch you again very soon...👋
@@DadGotThis Doing it the old fashioned way is great, and if this was strictly a how to make pasta dough video I could understand doing it by hand because not everybody has a stand mixer. But if they're following this video to make their dough they most likely purchased the pasta making attachment and have the attachment and the stand mixer on the counter and ready to roll. They paid between $300 and $400 or more for the mixer, they're going to want to get as much use out of the mixer as they can to justify the cost. Just a thought.
I bought the cheaper rollers. After 4 batches of dough, the scraping blades under the rollers bent. The dough went inside and behind the rollers. Sent it back and bought the Kitchenaid rollers
@@DadGotThis I just got the KitchenAid professional 600 and I really can't afford the price of the KitchenAid one so you're telling me this will be okay then for 600
You don’t need to let it dry. The purpose of the rack is to store it while you finish all of it and get ready to boil it. It is so it doesn’t stick together.
I’m a little confused by your question. You attach the unit to the mixer. When you turn the mixer on it turns the rollers which you feed your dough into. The knob adjusts the width between the rollers for how thick you make the pasta.
@@DadGotThis I tried to attach again and this time all rollers were turning . at first only one roller turned. Evidently I did not attach securely the first time. Thank you for your info.
Did the central knob control get improved after your review? You sure convinced me to treat myself to one anyway (to make my own Chinese wonton skins too!)
On all pasta machines no matter the type you have to pull the knob out to change the setting, and they feel wiggly. I just bought this roller/cutter combo but by a different name, but same thing. I'm interested in the spaghetti cutter. I want regular SPAGHETTI, not Angel Hair!
I have this machine, having just purchased it. You did a great video but the my main issue is the clean up of the unit. No numbers to reach customer service and while I have emailed them two times to two different email accounts, no reply and no reply either on their Facebook page. Tough to love a product when you can't get through to customer service when there is an issue.
I had no issue cleaning. Popped the top off ran some water through it and scrubbed it with a brush as I turned the wheels by hand. What issue are you having?
You will notice the instructions spell Attachment as Arrachment and the picture of the three kinds of pasta labels spaghetti as fettuccine and fettuccine as spaghetti.
@@patimeller7738 You don’t know if the machine works well until you buy it. Prior to that all you have to go on is what you see and what you see demonstrates bizarre lack of care. It’s not just spelling. They mislabel pasta. Pasta is relevant.

Just used mine today. Worked great!! Thanks for the review.
Great to hear!
Thank you so much for trying this for us!! Been curious if off brand products work okay with my kitchenaid
So far so good.
You have the best review of this! Thank you!!
Wow, thank you!

I’ll drop it on the list.
This is great. I've been looking for a thorough review of this. How do you find cleaning the unit?
I had no issues. The top popped right off and if you flour the dough enough going through you get very little mess. I used the little brush that came with it and ran it under some cold water and scrubbed.
Yeah, half the price sounds good--thanks for the review! Well done!!
It’s been good to me for sure.
Dude, awesome video! I gotta try this
You should! I think you would love it.
I am totally gonna buy this now. Great review
How do you freeze fresh pasta?
I got one of these for christmas!
Awesome, still love mine.

Dude you have a kitchenaid mixer. use that to knead your dough!
I know but I wanted to try the “old fashioned way”. Lol
Didnt let it Rest either !!!

So all three sections are turning at the same time when you have the machine turned on? You don't select one section individually?
Thanks for the video. Would you recommend this pasta cutter over the kitchenaid brand pasta cutter?
How has this held up over the kast few years?
I haven’t tried the official one but this one is quite a bit cheaper and has held up really well. I can still say I can recommend this one.
@@DadGotThis awesome! Thank you for replying to my message!
@@benhicks9612 No problem, I try to respond to all my comments!
How do you clean it, can you run water and soap over it or only use that brush, would be nice to sanitize it.
I ran water and soap over it. It just says not to submerge.
I bought the cheaper rollers. After 4 batches of dough, the scraping blades under the rollers bent. The dough went inside and behind the rollers. Sent it back and bought the Kitchenaid rollers
Mines still going strong.
How does the ravioli feature work?
I am ashamed to say I have not tried it yet.

I do. It is still going strong!

Great post cooking and getting messy does not get better than that not sure i could figure out your machine great post👍👍❤
Thanks 👍It is really easy to use though! I am sure you could do it!!!
I just subscribed. You made me do it! I can’t bear to see a man grovel! Very funny. And effective.
Thanks for the sub!
I just got mine today and WOW was it BIG!!!
It is a big boy.
Can you go over how to clean this?
Super easy, hot soapy water and a soft bristle brush. Rinse it well and let it air dry.
How's the clean up ?
Not bad. Soap and water.
I just subscribed keep the videos coming I could sure use them for my professional 600 I don't know how to use
How long do you let the pasta dry on the pasta rack
You don’t need to let it dry. The purpose of the rack is to store it while you finish all of it and get ready to boil it. It is so it doesn’t stick together.
Let it dry for a few hours until completely hardened if you're going to cook it another day and not same day.
How do you get the spaghetti or fettucini rollers to turn?
They are powered by the mixer.
@@DadGotThis shouldn't they be turning like pasta roller. Or do you have knob in certain place.

Great video jamie, that attachment is really cool
It really is!
You have a kitchenaid mixer, why don't use that to make the dough?
I like how the pasta shapes are already there and you dont need to put a different attachment on
Me too, that is one of my favorite features of the machine.

You have a KitchenAid and you make the dough on the table?!?! Realy?!?!

Kinda ironic when you use the kitchenaid mixer to roll the pasta dough.... but not to mix the dough.
I know. I just wanted to feel nostalgic and do it the way I used to with my mom.
