JoshwaBurke My biggest issue with them is that they always seem to stick on me. They don’t release the rod well. The other issue I’ve had is they don’t stay locked down so when you turn the boat the rod turns in the holder and the hole thing spins and ends up getting tangled in other lines. They are also overpriced and have crappy mounting hardware and adjustability.
@@mainetroutwhisperer Funny it looks like the scotty operate close to the same as the down east holders . A quick snatch straight up and they release. I have always mounted them on a rail and had good luck with the down east. Love the scotty too
