Hi, looking at fitting 35s, have a few questions, 1. Will this allow enough clearance for 35s. 2. How has the driving experience been since placing them. 3. Does this mod effect its surroundings (significantly affect the original engineering of the car)?
Yes 35s will fit. The front feels way better since fitting them. No it doesn’t effect any of the geometry or engineering of the Raptor. This is the only mod I’d do to a Raptors suspension.
Thanks for sharing bro, looking forward to what you're going to do in the rear. I guess if you aren't carrying weight should be sweet as is! I went the King Spring KFRR-121 as I got a bit of weight. Rides alright!
Bloody brilliant i have a raptor on order and am picking it up next month so this will be something i will look at doing once the front end settles and drops 👌
Am I being simple? Can some one explain? If it has internal bypass valves in the strut, won't putting a perch kit change where the internal strut sits inside the chamber? Essentially making the shock absorbers "stationary" position higher than factory defeating the internal valves and live valves? That's why they to a revalve on the previous gen?
The operating range is way greater then the surface area the perch kit changes internally. Driving a raptor with this mod feels so much better in my opinion

Yeah if you have put of a bull bar perch kit would work for that set up. 👍🏼 I don’t think Il be putting on any bar work unless I really like the design.
I disagree, the perch kit is much better option then the spacer. But each to their own. A spacer will change the geometry of the suspension potential causing cv issues.

Do you think adding the collars while running 35’s you would not need to alter your mudflaps mate? Can you get full compression now without scrubbing out? Thanks bud
Though the range of suspension travel that’s never going to change regardless. If you’re turning and the suspension compresses it’s still going to scrub in same location. Full compression it still scrubs with 35’s slightly with perch kit.
The collar gives full stroke up and down without impacting on any other component. It also gives me more control on harder landings after a jump, there’s more compression on the spring. It’s been awesome to jump as I’m not pushing though the range of travel as quick on impact. A spacer makes the shock longer so at full droop you’ll put stress on CV’s and other components.
Hi. Mate Thanks for your video. Good info. By the way, when you put perch kit or springs upgrade. Raptor need to height sensor re-calibration? Around 40mm height upgrade still live value working well?
Thanks for watching. You can recalibrate if you want to but I haven’t. I don’t feel it’s needed, plus if you recalibrate them you’ll change how the shock reacts at full droop and full Compression.

Hey Mate, looking at this product as I need to raise the front end by 35mm for the bar I'm looking at (x-series by supreme innovations), however I have some concerns about the ride height values before and after installation. You had a 6mm high left side (571mm), than the right (566mm) pre-installation. post installation you had a 10mm right side higher value (left 595, up 24mm, right 606mm, up 40mm). So originally you had high left side, now you have a high right side (16mm cross ride height difference (-6mm pre-install, +10mm post-install). Does this sound right? Sounds like something has been twisted. Not trying to bash, trying to understand, whether this mod will mean I don't have to get king springs to raise the ride height for this bloody bar. Cheers, Josh
You will always have differences to each side regardless. Tyre wear, drivers weight, modifications etc. nothings twisted but shocks will bed into place after driving. We have sold over 100 kits now and not one bad comment or problem has come back to us.
Thank you Ty, you are the reason why I bought my gen1 RR back in 2020. But I still dont get why we should not use spacers (1 inch or so) on the top of the spring. My truck is in stock setup but the left side (driver here) sagged about 15mm after 3 years and 45k. The diesel tank + def tank + 120kgs driver are all on the same side😂.
A spacer increases the overall length of your shock so if you jump your raptor the components like cv’s can travel further then factory intended. I know from experience as when I was younger I had spacers and they caused me so much drama.

On your wheels video, you recommended 315/70R17 rather than 35s. Would those tires with the stock rims fit and not rub if this perch kit is installed?
Yes 🙌🏼
So tell me what’s the big difference between putting a spacer on top, then placing one in the middle or bottom of the spring?
Top spacer increases overall shock length to increase height.
Perch kit keeps shock length the same but compresses spring to increase ride height.
Could have also gone with a spacer on top of the bottom-plate.... is exactly the same effect
what is your take on the perch kit now 5-6 months down the track ?
