- With all these homemade liqueurs, the liqueur that is the symbol of the coming summer could certainly not be missing 😎 it is not LIMONCELLO, but the LIMONCELLO CREAM. Also this time I am going to give the alternative recipe with Vodka for those who live outside Italy.
You will need:
Lemons 3
Alcohol 96% 250 ml
Sugar 200 g
Milk 250 ml
Cream 200 ml
Vanilla 1/2 bean
Or

I made your Limoncello recipe last week, it’s the best I’ve ever had, the only thing I did different was not heat the water and sugar, just shook it up until it dissolved completely, so good, now I have to make this one. Thanks Andrea 🙏🏽

It turned out amazing. I used one litre of pure grain alcohol and peels of ten lemons.
Used one litre of whole milk, a litre of cream, 800 grams of sugar and two vanilla bean pods for the syrup.
It was nice and creamy and really strong taste from the alcohol

I tried your original Limoncello and it was great! I had the luxury of using 96 proof alcohol. However my stash is running low and sometime in future I'll need to change to vodka. I was wondering, if in some future video you could use the 80% proof vodka, as it is availiable in many countries where the 96 spirit is not. Great video and keep on making these!

Thankyou for proving that there is no need to prepare large batches of liqueurs. Even though they may last up to one year or more, there is little to be gained from making one gallon of it. Also, many home made liqueurs that people make tend to skip the ultra pasteurizing of the milk/cream. It takes little time but saves lots of worry.

Ciao spettacolo from Atene! Thank you for all great recipes... I made the crema with Wodka. Great taste! But there are some questions : how long can you keep it in the fridge? After one month my cream and the Wodka were strongly separated and they didn't make the reunion easily. Do you think that it has become bad?

Do you keep it in the freezer or refrigerator? I have always kept my non-cream pure alcohol version in the freezer. It does not freeze and is very cold when served.

Excellent channel…fully addicted!!! Maybe try this version, my good friends mama in Roma does this way, once the limoncello is made, she puts it in the freezer for a couple of days, she said this builds up the “crema” flavour, without using cream. I found it delicious, and it had a creamy kind of flavour. Please try and let me know! Ciao

In the US, should I use light cream or heavy cream? Also, how long is this good for without spoiling? Can I assume that the alcohol makes it stable for a long time in the fridge, months maybe?

Are limomoncellos them italian sweet lemons, or any ole lemon would do?.....Spent a year working in Lampedusa back in 1980 as a part of the USCG (US Coast Guard) that how I've heard about limoncellos....
Limoncello is the liquor but we use limoni 🍋 very sour but good 😋

For the final taste. If you use alcohol 96% you can add more ingredients to reach 40% but if you use the same ingredients with vodka that is 40% at the end you will have only 10% and it will be too sweet

I made it at home here in Brazil with cereal alcool, but in the end It was stronger than the regular limoncello, its supposed to be? I was thinking It would be Sweet. I'm making more cream to be able to drink 😂
