Mary seems to have something on the judges! The way they give her the puppy dog eyes and a smirk. She should have be eliminated early int this season!!!
just remember THEY ARE HOME COOKS NOT CHEFS!, so a little slack for a dish they have NEVER done before might not go astray, show a little mercy please.( maybe give two or three hours for a first atempt :-) ).
I’m glad I’m not a chef in Ireland. If I had to work for that guest chef, I probably would quit after one day. He was rude, condescending at times and I did not like his attitude.
The one judge has shown a clear attraction to Clare from the beginning. She is a good cook, but he diminishes her by making decisions based on his attraction.
As a judge, as a mentor, as a kind of boss, the remarks to Mary have been extremely unprofessional (if you weren't married, we'd be cooking together tonight), and the way they were carried into the moment with the guest chef -- "let's not fight over her" -- c'mon guys, this is not a lounge, this is Masterchef, act accordingly....
The judges let this show down. They are often downright unpleasant and always arrogant. And this example of sliminess to Mary takes the biscuit. Sack them.
Goes to show you the arrogance these professional chefs have. Instead of teaching and instructing, they are condescending and forget they had to start somewhere as well
There;s a reason the other countries that carry this for longer work. The format is better (uk and us) the judges are more personable and give good feed back. And the contestants cook more of their own food and learn and not just copy cat
OMG, lol....I really don't know how Mary has made it this far in the competition....Can you picture her running her own restaurant? She would have to call it "Panic" , "Overwhelmed" or "The Frantic Kitchen" !!! lol
It's not really enjoyable to watch, as the judges are downright mean. Esp the one with hair. It seems more like Masterchef professionals. One gets a very negative impression of Ireland. Mean and humorless. One feels sorry for the amateur cooks.
The cooking of the contestants is so nice, I mean, they're supposed to be amateurs! Tbh I think all of them deserved their places in the competition. I don't know about the judges, they sometimes seem nice but maybe it's the editing that always shows them being boring and/or poker face. Sometimes the producers want the audience too see/feel something specific and in this case it might be a cold blooded fierce competition 🤷🏾 It really is just hard for me to believe those people have no charisma at all 😂😭
The way chef John went into Clare Anne… good God. Like was that necessary? I work in kitchens, I understand the “yes chef” and crazy outbursts. But dude she is not working your line at a dinner service. You’re a guest chef on a show for home cooks
Claire Anne was the only one who mostly didn’t answer ‘Yes Chef’ in the professional kitchen last episode. When you know how it goes and you hear all your peers saying it, to not say it is simply disrespectful.
Having been watching Fish Locker for a while now, I don't know what the contestants learned about fishing because that was not responsible fishing -throw the small ones back into the sea okay.
@@bamwesty8158 There is never a need to take a life that didn't have to be taken. That's my point (and which most responsible fishermen agree with, i.e. keep the big ones and let the younglings live. Catch them next year instead!
OMG, the visiting chef is even more mean😱 This series is actually about abuse. And none of the chefs know how to prononce femme. It's "famm". Embarrassing. Don't these judges know the whole world can see what bastards they are?
In America when money is on the line standards and practices are very harsh when it comes to all contestants being judged on a level playing field. I guess Ireland doesn't care.
These are all horrible people, that is the judges and guest judges, its like they are afraid amatures will show them up by doing real well. Disgusting behaviour.
All of the episodes that I've watched so far, the cooks taste with their spoons they're using then put them back in the pot that they're tasting from.

Glad to see Brigin has been knocked off her high horse. Perhaps now she'll start doing some good things.
Errr.... I wonder if any of the other contestants will use what's in Mike's sac when they're cooking?.......
These dour judges give the women breaks that they don't show in kind to the men - reverse discrimination?

Calm down #metwo, they are chefs, not HR representatives
Totally agree - it's creepy and disrespectful
Yep it was creepy. He wouldn’t have said that to a male contestant, or a woman he found unattractive.
LOL The guest judge reminds me of my father, "don't hide that from me". LOL
I like how all of the thumbnails are of dishes featuring many variations of potatoes. Definitely Ireland.
I catch my own blue claw crabs every Summer in my back yard I love fresh sea food.
Where do you live? Care to invite a stranger? 😅
So what
How would Mary ever survive in a professional kitchen?! Her anxiety screams for medication!!

She's made it this far because she can cook. However she is very frantic and tends to lose confidence but she almost always pulls through in the end
She screwed up with little time and pulled the best dish. That’s raw talent surfacing with the training
Yuck! Mike wiping the sweat off his face with his hands is sickening. They are given towels for that.
These judges sure think flirting is in order
Annoying, right?
Errr.... It's a shame they cut the video and didn't show the bit where while they fishing; all the frightened seahorses scalloping away.........
Billy Zane is a strong judge.

I can not believe it Carrie Ann going home. These cooks have been amazing to watch and learn. This group were a class act.
You can't put a spoiler in the comments! Not cool
Ah Mary, bless ya.

Best yet😄
Can these shows at least PRETEND to be humane??? They let every single one of the fish die by slow, painful suffocation. For shame.
It's a fish. What's your stance on abortion? Do you have any idea how they're performed?
PQSusan SD the comment was about FISH not abortion
Swati Patel they are making a comparison to showcase how idiotic said person was being.
Grow up.
@@laurenmakridis9570 yup, idiotic to not want sentient beings to suffer. And it's the abortion comparison that's beyond idiotic.

Wow, Christine can sit on a normal chair and swing her legs as her feet can’t touch the floor, I haven’t done that since I was 13, jealous !

Recreational fishing accounts for like 0.01% of fish caught. It's the mega trawlers clear cutting the oceans that is the problem

If these mackerel are the ones I'm thinking of, they don't grow much bigger than that. They are food for bigger pelagic fish.
Where’s the steak and potatoes
It's freaking fish this far into it OMG

Dylan seems mean soulless not a fun series to watch , its supposed to be entertainment.
In this Irish MasterChef has no joy and no humor! No good!
Dover sol don't have any ekstra bones ! Grill it bought sides ! Then eat one side then turn it and eat again! Its no hokus pokus!
Solemn...........!
So boring for me Masterchef Ireland.. I've already watch other episodes as well..
I love the jugshes on australia! Hate Canada and America ! Is it necessary to be agressiv? This jugshes are between . Are they Ramsey whole be?
Please learn to spell.

How disrespectful.
The judges are totally forgettable lacking in any personality
They do have personality, mean ones.
Can’t like brigine. Says chef worked years perfecting the dessert. Won’t change a thing just do it exactly. Proceeds to change things.
Mary has no business there

mary i love you..............that clumsy from a judge. this whole competition is about women and stupid cooking just awful
Noooooooooo!! Not my Clare
Damn slaughtered
Seeing these comments here...wow...what drugs are some of you people on?
Such bizarro judgementalism. Flirting? Favourites? Lol projection much
This show is bull from hell
The leprechaun can really cook.
Are Christines lungs filled with helium?? Her voice is as grating as nails on a chalkboard!😫
