Well played, I like how you survived that initial encounter and began taking out the opposition with good decision making. The suicide run at the end was the icing on the cake. Great stuff Dslyecxi, glad I subbed.
That unanimous laughter at the end made my day. From such a horrible and gruesome start for you you picked that back up quickly and as best as you could. I loved your change of heart from checking every corner like a true soldier to a fuck it up insurgent. Great watch mate.
That ending was beautiful.
What I love most about this and all Shack vids is just the attitude with it. You're all on a level and there's active praise going on. Like when the guy with the rocket missed the convoy at about 13:10 (ish) you gave him a "Nice try." I've heard the same from Kilroy and the like too. It's a wonderful thing to meet. Any random server might be OMG NOOB or something...
you should've placed that mine in the inside curve of that bend in the road instead of the outside curve, because when they started to bug out under fire they would probably try to cut corners on slight turns like that
It definitely feels weird watching you sneak through this terrain with expert precision on "Stay Awhile and Listen" next to running up and down it here placing mines and dumping bullets into buildings. Love it!
Just wanted to say that I've just shared one of Kilroy's videos with some of my friends, hope to get them interested in this if only for watching ShackTac vids. I've watched almost half your videos by now, and hope to watch many more. Keep it up, ShackTac, wish we could join!

Wow Dslyecxi this video was brilliant. I know it's a cliche, but I was on the edge of my seat the entire video. Every time a vehicle rolled past your mine I was tensing up like crazy! More insurgent videos like this would be great!

Mass hysteria at the end; that was awesome. In CoD you'd have all those people screaming obscenities at you; probably the same in Battlefield. In Arma, you get "nice!"
I really want to play this, but for some reason my computer can't run the campaign without crashing (it's not performance; my computer can handle every other game I own without any lag whatsoever), which doesn't bode well for multiplayer.
Still, I'm going to keep watching this.

Edge of my seat for that landmine stuff. Funny how tense your mission perspective was in comparison to Kilroy's UN sponsored sleepover party/medivac tour of Aliabad.
I like the standard aspect ratio better. I was able to see your squad mates and, whenever you are in a vehicle I can see the status of whatever vehicle you are in.
The Tank recovery vehicle is looking NICE! :D
"Just do whatever you think you need to do" That made me laugh a good bit, can always rely on high command!

Such an old but amazing video, decisions were great but the one thing that I would've yelled many times is the mine. In my opinion, that was a small curve in the road, which leads people to cut those curves and drive on the dirt. Bluntly saying not on the dirt side where you placed your Anti-Vehicle mine.... meh it was 4 years ago, the venting is real

I thought I had managed to make it back, and was being patched up on the ground, when what do you know, but up pops Dsylecxi and a grenade welding friend. Good lesson on the importance of maintaining security, even after you think the mission is complete.

You can use a series of commands that one would type into a unit's init field in the editor. The specific commands would be addweapon, addmagazine, and a few others if my memory serves. I'd recommend going to Bohemia Interactive's wiki and looking those up.

ARMA 2 does not have all the necessary/wanted features ARMA 2 does. Until it does ARMA 2 is still their main game. Features like the ones ACE adds, etc.
That finale is the best thing I have ever seen.

The thing about playing well in ArmA isn't about having a fast trigger or great aim like it is in Counterstrike or other shooters. All of the difficult shots in ArmA you will have time to line up. The key thing in ArmA is having a tactical mind and the ability to adapt and manipulative the enemy into making mistakes.
Hey Dslyecxi, I have a suggestion for your intro. Have you considered during the little intro information part that you do (in this case from 0:08 to 0:48) having, maybe in a corner of the intro, the map name, game type if applicable, and whether or not it is available to the public, etc? I see some of that in the description, but perhaps this way it would be more accessible (i.e. in front of peoples faces) and you would get less comments asking. Just a minor suggestion on another awesome video.
