Again...I know I'm late to a lot of these videos, but I still feel compelled to say that this is the best of ARMA on TH-cam. Actual entertainment.

Unbelievable how fast a battle can turn. From 15:00 it looked bad, but the time after that. Big props to the survivors who did their best.
Why is watching such fluid and coordinated teamwork so damn entertaining?

Classy Shacktac, including telling folks there's potential IED/mines on the path, when their isnt. Makes for interesting watching what people do in a situation that is totally faeticious(sp), and how well they handle it :D
yes i myself am a casual player who played ofp and arma series in single player but now i jump on clan-run servers all the time to participate in operations with highly experienced players. of course you must respect the owners of the server and listen very carefully to what they say. it has been really rewarding and given me confidence that i can apply for the shacktac. this is a great vid dslyecxi i honestly thought the friendlies were going to make it!
That was a great watch, I don't think there are going to be many ShackTac members all that willing to climb in a 113 with that casualty rate.

A mod to be able to fire from those open top humvees would be pretty sweet
its hard to say as it depends on how you want to play the game. the game offers many tiers of complexity and inexperienced people can easily create their own multiplayer missions in minutes. different groups and clans play the game quite differently so just have a look around till you find people who play it on the same level as you want to

There is version of A.C.E. for both with and without Operation Arrowhead. The version for without is no longer in active development afaik.

That makes sense. I guess that the TrackIR isn't hugely different than free look from our perspective, but from yours it's a lot more natural and immersive. Do you find yourself consciously using the TrackIR or has it become instinctive after you have used it?

On arma forums, possibly confirmed is being able to shoot out from a vehicle.
How about that conventional warfare pop-up (?) at the beginning? Was that added in or part of the mission? Forgive me if that's a stupid question. Never played Arma II. Just a fan of your channel.
I was about to ask what your role was in this video, but clearly you were running some kind of AAA Roadside assistance service.
Now that I watch the video again I think I can see what you mean. It's probably just less noticeable than I was thinking it would be. Another thing: are you planning on doing any more commentary videos like the one you did a couple of months back, where you got split up from your squad and wandered about for a bit before killing some guys on a hilltop?

Hey Dyslecxi, I have a serious question. How many permanent members of ShackTac do you have? Not including pFNGs of course. Also, on average, how many members do you accept each month? Because I have been watching your videos for years dreaming of joining ShackTac, yet never had the PC to play ArmA or ArmA II. But I am soon to be getting a new PC worthy of running ArmA II and the time to apply to ShackTac can not come soon enough.

@Dslyecxi So regular ak or m16 can go through or was it a heavy gun?
In other words you can't go heavier on the machinegun scale, everything above is counted as a machine-cannon.
I can not comment on the multiplayer aspect of the game as I have only played the single player campaings. But as with any game, I would assume it depends on which server you land on.
