I was very young at the time but I remember Jamaica being on the brink of a civil war caused by political violence and instability. I know, I worked there back in the 70"s and had to interact with Jack to perform my duties . The taxi driver that escaped the murder did so by swimming out to sea, thus avoiding the bullets.

Thts when the police force tried to use them as scape goat. Those cops were from the (Mobile Reserved ). I know , i was late for work tht night. Massop, Welch, Bucky, Tek life etc, "dons" n strong men, doing the biddings of the 2 Political parties in Ja, with the killings, extortions n politricking, saw the necessity for Unity n so the Peace Treaty concert, wanting now to become political because they were already involved in the politricking, enacted an idea to form a new political party with Rastafari's philosophy, n so Bob the champion of Rastafari/Reggae Messiah, necame the topic of discussion where leadership was concerned, but his anti Babylon/ Govt stance hindered him from taking that position n so the almost death of him by way of shooting, due to false accusation of him leaning too much towards the P.N.P....this unity that was heralded by these strong men, was thwarted by the establishement n so all but one ( Welch)met a certain demise n so crippled the hopes of the underclass, to continue the furthering of the poltricking, where Black youths who came out of servitude, was made ti fight n kill each other on behalf of these political entities, whose servitude n ties to nations whose control n domination according to the ideologies( Communism/ Democratic Socialism, n Capitalism), that now engulfed the world, seeing these as Super Powers, whose tentacles stretch far n wide. What we're saying, is that most believe that these youths were just average youths, but truly, they were very influencial n had an intelligence that was able to compete with those who had the letters behind their names, these are the "unlettered ones"....bless up
