I’m 78 years old. The last time I was sick was when I had my tonsils removed as a child.
You lose a lot of water when you sleep. You are dehydrated when you wake. I sip a glass of water every morning before I have my one cup of coffee for the day. I put ghee and stevia in my coffee. Then I wait until my body tells me to eat and that’s when I have a banana, one tablespoon of homemade walnut butter and a small glass of milk from grass-fed cows. Then I go for a walk. This routine has worked for me quite well. I did not get covid and I’m not overweight and I have plenty of energy.

By the grace (with peace) of God, am a happy contented 76 without health issue, completed the 4x mandatory vaccines against covid. I exercise on my bed before getting up, then continue exercising with (1 kg. x2) dumbbells in my bathroom before shower, (that maybe the reason I don’t have any bodily ache or pain). I like walking & my eating habit since I was 20 was called intermittent fasting. After my retirement, I have a yearly executive check up❣️Am ever grateful to the Lord my Creator for everything, through Jesus my Savior 🙏

    Hydration Tips
Daily Water Intake: Aim for 7-10 glasses (2-3 liters).
    Drinking Technique:
    Sit down to drink.
Swish water for 4 seconds before swallowing.
Drink from a glass, taking 5-6 sips per drink.
Consume 1 to 1.5 glasses at a time, and avoid cold water (as it may harden food inside the stomach).
    Timing Recommendations
    Before and After Meals:
Take 2 sips before eating to moisten the throat.
Wait 30 minutes to 1 hour after meals before drinking.
    Additional Timing Guidelines:
Avoid drinking immediately upon waking or right before bed (to protect kidney health).
    Wait 20 minutes after urinating.
Avoid hot drinks and drinking immediately after food.
    Special Situations
Morning: Drink water on an empty stomach, waiting an hour before the next intake.
Exercise: Only take small sips while exercising.
Spacing: Leave at least a 1-hour gap between drinking sessions.
    Recommended Foods (Above Age 50)
Papaya: High in vitamin C and A; supports digestion.
Raisins: Good source of boron and calcium.
Apple and Lemon: Lemon is beneficial for preventing or dissolving kidney stones.

So much truth in this video. Thank you.I just turned 78 y. and looking after my 2 y.old grandson, he keeps me running and young. I cook for the two of us the food that my mom cooked growing up. Farm fresh food, eggs, and a lot of fruit variety. I do not take any pills , take some vitamins, garlic. Never gulped the water, drank from cup. Still today, eat a lot of fruit, home made soups, home made bread and pastry. I feel sorry for people who do not know how to cook or do not show any interest in cooking. "You are what you eat" but some people just do not believe that.

I also eat Papaya, orange and banana in the morning every day. I will now add apples to that list. I also eat other fruits.

Thank you for sharing these insights on something as simple yet vital as drinking water. It's incredible how much wisdom is embedded in the teachings, reminding us to be mindful even in our daily habits. The idea that proper hydration is not just about quenching thirst but nourishing the body and soul is truly enlightening. As the Buddha said, 'To keep the body in good health is a duty… otherwise, we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear.' This video is a gentle yet powerful reminder of the importance of conscious living. Looking forward to applying these teachings in my life!

This video has completely changed my perspective on something I used to take for granted-drinking water! The way you’ve explained the guru’s teachings makes it so easy to understand the importance of how, when, and what type of water we consume. I had no idea that something so simple could have such a massive impact on our overall health. I’m excited to follow these guidelines and see the changes for myself. Thank you for bringing such enlightening content to us! Here’s a thought: with so much information out there, do you believe the '8 glasses a day' rule is still valid, or is it time to rethink that approach? 💭💦

For a long time, I thought I was drinking water the right way - just gulping it down whenever I felt thirsty. But after learning about Buddhist teachings on mindfulness, I realized there’s more to it. Now, I sip water slowly, being aware of each drink, and it has made a big difference. I feel more hydrated, energized, and even calmer. It’s amazing how something as simple as drinking water mindfully can improve both your body and mind.

Such wisdom in your words, and it's truly inspiring! At 78, you're not only staying active by caring for your grandson, but you're also embracing the healthy, home-cooked meals that connect you to your roots. It’s incredible that you prioritize fresh, wholesome foods and a natural lifestyle. I agree-cooking is an important skill, and what we eat truly impacts how we feel. It's a shame when people overlook that connection. Your approach to life is a beautiful example for all of us!

Cool video, My relationship of 5 years ended a month ago. The love of my life decided to leave me, I really love her so much I can’t stop thinking about her, I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts of her, but I can’t, I don’t know why I’m saying this here, I really miss her and just can’t stop thinking about her

Slowly slowly then I finish the 1.5 liter.

Thank you so much . have noticed in Buddhist monk videos, observed something about how intently their drinking was from a small cup of tea. which made one realize there is a method to this , yes … ? Thank you so much this confirmation . Also , not too long ago a woman in the news attributed her health + longevity to eating four soaked raisins every morning. Interesting , she said her raisins were soaked in vodka ? rum ? quite frankly alcohol. I like your advisory about soaking them in water . Words cannot express my gratitude on the whole of this , much gratitude. Much bliss and many rich blessings to you too

I'll never drink water the same way again. This could be the secret behind Japanese long age. I could see that they sat down and "take their time" drinking tea. If they did so with tea, they will treat water the same way. I'll try it for the next 12 days and observe the outcome. Just by drinking water.
