Wow wow wow I remember when this happened in Jamaica 🇯🇲 when I was a little boy ...this was a shocking killing in the history of Jamaica 🇯🇲 and now I'm in my late 50ths and still remember this ..this was murder just like green 💚 bay killing...Jamaica really need a lot of prayer 🙏 because to much wickedness happened there......very very sad
🥹
I was a little girl at that time too I even climb the church top to see the funeral proceedings
I remember this era and this man's name. I was a little girl. I also remember the name Aston Thompson.
Thanks for all the hard work you put in to get us these videos. Keep up the good work, much appreciated.
Thanks for sharing this 🙌 🙏 I was at the funeral with my mom and her friend was a little boy didn't even understand what was going on the crowd was so large
Yes indeed it was a very large crowd.
To how I hear this man was no joke!! Men like him fought oppression from what I understand!! Listening to my Mom, she told me a story of Claudi calling to her in her earlier years & Grandma go cuss him fi ah call to har pickney & di man just humble himself & low har!!! Totally different men of today!!!!
Thanks for the tour. Fully enjoyed it. Despite that they were bad men, it is sad and brutal the way they were taken out. Those police are/were criminals carrying legal guns.
Massop and the other two were not even wanted or had arrest warrants.
@@garthreid5088Trevor Tinson and Lloyd Fraser, former student of Tivoli High ...it was a very wicked brutal act .
Well done....good to see this as part of the history of Claudius Massop.
Enjoyed watching and learning about some interesting people
Let them all R.I.H.P 🙏🏾🕊🙏🏾🕊🙏🏾
Watching from Canada, I have learned so much from your channel and have told all my family members to subscribe to the channel.
Thank you. I truly appreciate it
Thank you so so much for sharing this interested story
Yea man really appreciate these stories very impressive continue
Congratulations and thanks on making the effort to higjlight an important piece of Jamaica's very colourful history!
That part of the sea is called hot and cold by us in Tivoli Gardens. The driver was called Boyzie by us his friends.
So is Boyzie still alive?
@@SedanGibson Think he still is. Havent seen him a while.
Much appreciated it. Thanks for all your efforts
I was living in tivoli garden for 25 years. And didn’t know their graves was separate from the ones in the church yard, and also have a monument. I away passed by and looked at the graves. Impressive
Really appreciate the effort you are putting into your channel and videos, continued success and growth my brother. You are appreciated!
Really love your content and the dedication u put into it❤🎉
Thanks for all the insight Bro❗
Nuff love and respect, keep up the good work.
Blessing my brother good. One keep up the good work 👏 🙌 👍
I watch you touring may pen cemetery and I would like the people in charge to Bush and keep the area clean, is there a person who would have a knowledge of person buried in 1969, my dad was buried there never could afford a head stone, you're doing a great job, keep it may God bless and keep you as you bring back some of Jamaica history
Thank you for this video of where Claudius massop is buried I was a little boy when he was murdered by the police, rip Claudius massop
How sad, these were men that were loved and missed by their families.
Big up youself and thanks for the info a lot of what you revealed I didn’t know
Thank you for this educational video. I know about the story, but did not know the details.
Thank you for sharing i am watching from Namibian, please do include in future videos the resting places of Tek Life and Aston "Bucky Marshall too. We knkw their names through reggae music.
The whole Jamaica claimed that its Seaga who ordered the Police to execute Mossop because he claimed he was dissed by Mossop.
Massop box him wife .U can't violate the boss wife g
yes, because Massop wants peace... he want to live good with Marshal...he want to be able to walk from Tivoli to Rose lane with no problem
That's crap.Massop never dissed Seaga it was blinds who did the dissing 😂😅 at all times and they both respect each other highly.for your information it was the (PNP) government of the day that ordered the assassination because he and his friends Bucky Marshall,Earl Teklife, Byah Carl,Tony Welch and Micky Jakes who made peace between rival factions which they (politicians) couldn't have done
Labourite seaga never wanted the peace , so he got massop killed...long time labourerite wicked and them still wicked.
@@evertongreensword2732the government of the day would have wanted peace ...i think Seaga was against that
Can one believe what you doing to let us see our history thanks so much Nigel

Tivoli leaders are buried in Tivoli or in May Pen Cemetery right next to Tivoli
Great work sir
Thank you for sharing this story of the great Claudius Massop!
The great Claudius Massop? It's obvious you don't know this man. I lived in western Kingston as a boy in denham town where he was from. He was just a common criminal, nothing more or nothing less.
Rip my good friend gone but not forgotten
I wouldn’t want a serial psychopath;as a friend
Great sad story my Brother greatly put together please be safe ur wonderful thanks again im in New York❤😢😢
Thank you very much you are very brave

I went to school with trevor timson at St Ann's in Jamaica he was also living in Canada he went down to Jamaica to receive his permanently documents to retired back to Canada it's so so sad we were at party and I remembered he said ill see you when I got back
Thank you, Sir, Salmon for highlighting our legends.
Lengends, I find your comment; shockingly incredulous.
@MarjorieWong-ym3ft Mot only movie stars are legends. I consider people who feed the poor legends. If you are infallible, then, very good. All of us are fallible humans, excluding you.
Watching from holland
Great video mr samond

I lived up the street at Fong Yee Terrace in Tivoli at the time. I attended the burial at Ebenezer.
Don’t forget Massop and Trevor were rob of all these jewelry by the police 👮♀️
Yes, indeed. I mentioned that in the video
So a long time police corrupt or gunmen dress up as police

The driver's name was Ivan and he survived by running and jumping into the sea, movie-style . Ironically another Ivan had six years earlier done the same in the Jamaican bloke-buster movie The Harder They Come in 1972. Very sad but very enlightening story on the assassination of renowned gangster Claudie Massop (MHSRIP.)
Your country sadly glorifies gangsters.I want to have very little to do with many jaa
His name was not Ivan its Boyzie
@@user-uf6fp3bw2pOk. Thanx for correction
So far ok bro
I stands at dat spot so many times n didn't know d story dam
That round plastic net is placed there to capture garbage. Unfortunately too many Jamaicans simply don’t care about their surroundings and just dispose of their garbage anyway, so sad and disgusting. Government must get more serious about enforcing environmental laws on the books with heavy fines and penalties
YEAH JAMAICA REALLY GET DIRTY
Good job .. I love your content
Good job keep up the good work ❤
He was shot and killed by dadrick Henry and his police friends, dadrick dead from cancer and he was balling for pain karma reach him,

The tree is called an oil nut tree. And the nut of this tree is used to make castro oil.

A wonder how the driver manage to escape that no look right.
In the same way the driver escaped the police killing of Natty Morgan. It was all planned, bro!!
I would love it if you could do one on Prince Far I, his burial site has never been shared publically, it is in a Dovecot cemetry
Great job do one on General Starkey if u can
He would've been 296 years old now😮
Convenient escape!
The fact he was a strong man says it all. 🙄🙄🙄Mess up their community and the after effects felt by a nation. 🙄🙄🙄🙄
This occurred a sunday afternoon I recall. Never knew there was a church compound or graves in Tivoli
They were coming from a football match in Spanish town between Tivoli FC and Thunderbolt FC from St. Catherine. remember that Sunday like it was yesterday.... February 4, 1979.
MxMx145 Me too..I remember that Sunday evening as if it was yesterday too. I was 16 years old
If they wanted to kill everyone, why didn't they chased him. Could he have been a part of the plot? They had to have known who he was and where to find him. Something to think about.
Enjoy your videos…can you do a grave visit of Paulette ziadie the lover of linton berry who he shot and kill in 1987 he was released from prison last year and died shortly.
Remember attending a football game in his presence.
Him was coming from grooming his horses i was in grade nine when it happen we me and my friends went to the morgue to look at the body where we see that him arm pit was full of shot hole i went to the finural at Ebenezer in garden them Graves was in the walk way we used to walk almost on them the graves never cover round me used to go to miss dog house i get ok from my aunt to go
Massop is almost 87 years old now. Wow.
The man would've been 75 years old now
I never heard of Claudi Masson until years after his death!
