And then Myutant on release were like $30 and VW a few months later were like $150

If it's any consolation I still spent like 60$ for Myutant because nobody has them so half the price is the delivery from half a dozen people.

Konami is a Japanese company, and MD uses ocg as reference, so I'm not too mad about the typo. I'd like it fixed tho...
What I'm mad about is the fact that most stories have no weight at all :'v
2:38 You don't wanna see the localizations like the German text. They HAVE to have been translated with Google Translate. Every game starts with a grammatical error in the German version when the coin is flipped to decide who goes first XD

I was so hyped when they announced Myutants were coming to Solo Mode. I play them IRL and have had a deck of them since Launch.
But finding out they got a Field too?!?!? Poggers
Myutant is for me what BA is for Farfa. This deck is a blast to play at locals for 2 reasons:
1)it takes advantage of the fact that nobody reads cards effects this days, so even if I explain them the opponent will istantly forget because each myutant has a different targetting protection, different banish effect, different recycling when destroyed ability from one another and even within their own texts.
2) It can Main Deck 2 Ash, 2 Imperm, 3 Shifter, 3 Macro, 3 D Fissure, 3 Skill drain, 3 Emergency Teleport, 3 Crossout Designator and they will rarely ever be a brick because you can just banish them for cost.
I really love the gameplay and artwork of this archetype, I have tried a dozen different builds over the years and the floodgate/handtrap one is the best one in my opinion. They should get some support because Myutant GB is unplayable, the same for the fusion spell and almost any other spell and trap except for Myutant Lab, Myutant Expansion, Myutant Cry that are really good, I wasn't playing it in master duel just because with only 2 emergency teleport and no Myutant mutant my deck had only 8 staters and already my real deck can brick hard with only 10 starters.

This archetype was SOOOOOO CLOSE to being the M'arrillians from Chaotic.
Least we got Conjurors and War Beasts thanks to Ritual Beast archetype.

It is truly insane how Konami tries to cut corners in any way they can. Like can they not just hire a reasonably intelligent english speaker to read through a couple of Solo Modes once per month? I swear, I know a guy, he probably works cheap, I can hook Konami up if they really need it.

imagine konami decide to fund solo game modes to have a voice over of the lores or a mini animed series with complete package

Pokemon, the largest grossing media franchise in the world can't afford voice acting in their AAA games xd. Maybe it would be cool with voice acting in the solo mode, idk. I just skip past the story
I love these videos, i was sadge when we missed the previous lores cuz of bad internet.
After seeing this Solo story, I am convinced that Konami just wanted to name the archetype "Mutants" but couldn't figure out how to spell it correctly
It wouldn't be a new gate release without fifteen typos and a boring backstory to an archetype you thought was kind of cool.

I can't help but feel this is being advertised as an answer to Runick's banish shenanigans. But MAN is that a sick looking field to play on, Kozaky and Magical Scientist would be right at home conducting illegal experiments there.
Nah runicks can still be a handful to deal with if they full combo going first.
Myutant Thunder Dragon is not even that bad (It gets carried by Colossus quite hard but who cares)
I wasn't nearly as excited about any of the other solo modes as I was this one. And the fact that just by playing it you get 3 copies of Myutant Mutant I was blown away. Myutant got sped up real nice. One of my fav decks

It's always such a mind fuck trying to beat the bot with the deck they give you and it's a struggle sometimes and then you otk it with your own deck

The thing that is funny about all of the poor translations is that they literally have contracted Konami Cross Media (formerly 4Kids) to do official subs for the animes but apparently couldn’t be bothered to have them translate the MD lore for some reason?

The World Legacy story is literally in the final section or two in Master Duel. Last I remember it ended at the fight between Avram and Longirsu. So all that's left is the revival of Crusadia and the awakening of the Guardragons more or less.
Why not show two last duels?

Lol it does seem kinda awkward playing a solo mode for a console card game. But a lot of archetypes are very lore heavy

Well, almost all the cards are actually driven by some kind of lore or telling a story these days. All the way back in pendulum era, just look at the Duel Terminal. They add the lore and what not because lots of people like it; just some lore are not as badly written as others. Almost all the archetypes tell a story through their artwork, that's actually a major aspect that art can have.
