@@grovesy333 Why not lol Stun is just the lowest of the lowest in terms of skill expression… It reduces most of the game to "do I have floodgate?" Who knows man? It's not like anyone actually read Ice Barrier cards. They might make 3 Trish turn zero for all we know. I just negate the lv 4 ones and they usually pass. You could tell me deck summons holactie turn 1 and I would believe it.

Hey, I see you around a lot. :) I really like skull guardian too primarily due to my exposure to him from capsule monsters (and hes one of the better monsters power wise in that game)
Vanilla - Jam the Frog/Ancient Brain (because of the old ygo ytber who used to make combo videos) Deck - Fluffals Effect - Synchro Fusionist Ritual - Black Luster Soldier Fusion - Elder Entity Norden Synchro - Trishula Dragon of the Ice Barrier XYZ - Toadally Awesome Pendulum - Performapal Monkeyboard Link - Crystron Halqifibrax I dont play yugioh anymore but when I did i only enjoyed combo decks
Farfa: I was expecting more ghost sisters. Also Farfa: Your favorite effect is _Verre?_ Yes, I WONDER WHY there isnt more ghost sisters in these lists, lol. Favorite effect is Kurikara Divincarnate btw, reverse Nibiru is hilarious to resolve.
Farfa, I'm not sure why I resisted you for so long, but your allure has garnered my sub. Using favorite yugioh cards like astrology to determine people's personalities might be my favorite thing of all time.
Felt like this'd be a discussion on how the most beloved cards aren't likely to be in the meta. If any card is your favorite your memories with it are what counts.
I really like Volcanics, Hammerer stuck out visually for me. The hulking, armored, sharp, molten body was a unique design compared to what other cards I had seen previously. He and Scattershot were my introduction to the concept of archetypes and Volcanics were the first archetype I built in early 5Ds era.
for what it's worth, Infernoids can in fact make omega on an infrequent, but real-enough-that-it-matters basis, mostly because decatron's level modulation effect + one low level infernoid in the hand can easily get you two pops before going into omega, which is a decent way to get things done when your hand is bricked. Even omega's on-field effect of unbanning cards is pretty good for noids since it's one of the only ways the more aggressive builds have to recover banished noids at all.
Deck: Dark (Magician +) Magistus. Normal: Dark Magician (the JUMP promo and the MVP1 Gold Secret specifically). Effect: Kuriboh. Ritual: Nekroz of Sophia. Fusion: The Dark Magicians. Synchro: Black Rose Dragon. XYZ: Rilliona, the Wondrous Magistus Witch Wardrobe. Pendulum: Astrograph Sorcerer. Link: Artemis, the Magistus Moon Maiden/Selene, Queen of the Master Magicians. Yes, I do like Spellcasters. How could you tell?
6:03 madame verre (and aruru) can singlehandedly stall for an entire game or even win by pissing your opponent off, she's definitely my favorite effect monster too, or more like witchcrafter deck in general is my favorite
Legacy of the duelist can infinitely draw maxx c, ash, and swift scarecrow. Did I mention it’s a flood gate? Hits monsters and back row. Also nobody reads it, and when they do it’s a half ass read so they forget about the fine printzz
8:15 Before halq got banned there were some 2 and 3 card combos to make trish on the opponents turn. Diva + smol Gishki Ariel is toad + trish. Normal Diva, summon smol Exa. Exa send Prior. Special Ariel. Link Ariel and Diva into coral anemone. Anemone bring back prior. Link anemone and smol Exa into halq. Halq summon cryomancer of the ice barrier. Banish Ariel from grave to summon a level 1 token. Overlay prior and cryo into toad. On opponents turn you summon swap frog with toad. Then during main you tag out halq into desert locust. Locust makes opp discard. Then once they commit you quick synchro with locust, swap, and token (6+2+1) into trish and you effectively banish 3 cards from their hand since you'll banish the thing they discarded off locust and a card they committed on the field. Actually was consistent due to moray of greed and medallion being a thing and it worked with milf noellia + ariel/general Dwayne as well though those had better combo lines. RIP halq.
My favorite deck is a tie between pure dinos and raccoons, although Crystal beasts is certainly approaching this as well having bought 3 of the structure to get back into paper yugioh again.
Mine Fav Deck: Agents Fav Vanilla: Axe Raider Fav Effect: Archlord Krystia Fav Ritual: Nekroz of Sophia Fav Fusion: The First Darklord Fav Synchro: Trishula, Dragon Of The Ice Barrier Fav XYZ: D/D/D Duo Dawn King Kali Yuga Fav Pendulum: Reflection of Endymion Fav Link: Topologic Bomber Dragon
Idk if this falls perfectly in line with the deck master concept because i couldnt find the video in the 3 minutes i spent looking for it but it gave me an idea of how to help fix the game for MR6 but potentially being to hardcore of a change. Two players sit down and set up across from eachother as for any other typical duel, now imagine when they are pulling out there deckbox instead of pulling out the deck right away each player pulls out a single card from the deck placing it facedown from each other near center field, the two players then reveal to each other the card that they have selected. The purpose of the card could have some cool card art but be a new type of card that controls the specific limitations of cards the player can have in there deck and any given time during that game. These limitations would control extra deck size, deck size, amount regular spells, quick play spells, counter traps, effect monsters, etc. etc. This could help balance the whole deck building vs gameplay aspect without actually changing any of the gameplay itself. And if you didnt like how things went round one you could swap this new card out and change your entire deck around for the next game adding an even deeper layer of big brain thinking to the game as a whole. Is this too much or would the that can hardly read be into that?
the frequent mention of phantom knights disturbs me, namely because i was on the business end of that match up and the user played it with ark rebellion and redoer. i was a salamangreat (pre raging phoenix) player who was too broke to play salamangreats properly or to get proper protection. i was caught between this, sunavolon link otk, and dragon link (pre chaos ruler ban). i eventually sidelined salads for eldlich while maximum gold el durado was happening at the suggestion of a residents birds player. i had become exactly what i once sought to destroy, a meta player. then for a while things were peaceful, i learnt salamangreats properly, brought it and eldlich to locals, made a name for myself, then konami reminded me that fun isn't allowed and proceeded to powercreep the decks we played and shut down any chance of counterplay, that i can se without completely starting anew, and even then, it got shut down before it could even start.

Nice try buddy, only Jerry beans man has that title
That's not Kuriboh so no.
Its not the ultimate wizard in terms of attack and defense, so its a dub.

I was at a big crossroads of skull guardian vs garma sword for this but skull guardian has a cooler ritual spell and art.
Huh. Surprised about that. Thought they would’ve reprinted him in a Speed Duel pack or something
Hey, I see you around a lot. :)
I really like skull guardian too primarily due to my exposure to him from capsule monsters (and hes one of the better monsters power wise in that game)
So who’s gonna tell him about voiceless voice

Farfa: I was expecting more ghost sisters.
Also Farfa: Your favorite effect is _Verre?_
Yes, I WONDER WHY there isnt more ghost sisters in these lists, lol.
I'd love to see more! I'll be sure to be faster and submit my own, I think you'll find it curious or roast me too hard lol

My favorite card is Predaplant Oprhys Scorpio just because of all the insane combos it can start in various decks.

RIP halq.
My own favorite list looks like an ancient fossil after watching these lists.
My favorite deck is a tie between pure dinos and raccoons, although Crystal beasts is certainly approaching this as well having bought 3 of the structure to get back into paper yugioh again.

Is this too much or would the that can hardly read be into that?
the frequent mention of phantom knights disturbs me, namely because i was on the business end of that match up and the user played it with ark rebellion and redoer.
i was a salamangreat (pre raging phoenix) player who was too broke to play salamangreats properly or to get proper protection.
i was caught between this, sunavolon link otk, and dragon link (pre chaos ruler ban).
i eventually sidelined salads for eldlich while maximum gold el durado was happening at the suggestion of a residents birds player.
i had become exactly what i once sought to destroy, a meta player.
then for a while things were peaceful, i learnt salamangreats properly, brought it and eldlich to locals, made a name for myself,
then konami reminded me that fun isn't allowed and proceeded to powercreep the decks we played and shut down any chance of counterplay, that i can se without completely starting anew, and even then, it got shut down before it could even start.
