  • A "day in the life" with the Beatles. This video is March 29th and March 30th 1967. On this date the Beatles recorded With A Little Help From My Friends. This is an educational video showing a little insight on the recording processes used by the Beatles. It's also of interest to students of music, students of fashion, as well as historians and archival curators. In this video you can see what instruments the Beatles played (through photos) what they looked like, what clothes they wore, and what guests might have been visiting them in the studio. Part of the Blindowl Music Videos, chronological Beatles series. If you like what you see please SUBSCRIBE so I can continue to produce more videos. Thank for looking.

The photo session for the Pepper cover was done at Chelsea Manor Studios on Flood Street Chelsea SW3 by Michael Cooper.
I live n the next street and the building is still there. As you turn into Flood Street from King’s Road the building is on the right just past Honiton Mansions.
Further down Flood Street on the same side is The Hall Of Rememberance where the band rehearsed for the ‘Around The Beatles ‘ TV show in 1964.

Very cool. I would love to see that building. A lot of history made there.

@@blindowlvideos5813 I did once manage to get a resident to show me which room they used for the shoot.
It is at the back of the building but now they are separate apartments within the building and you can’t get in.
Kensington and Chelsea really should list the building and put a Blue Plaque on the front. As you say it is part of a very historic moment.
You can get in The Hall Of Rememberance.

March 30, 1967 was my third birthday. Had an older brother who was a teenager then, he played Sgt Peppers til the grooves wore out.

Well they couldn’t have been THat much of heavy smokers. Their lungs sound pretty clear to me, it reflects in their singing.
