Wow! I made this and it finally worked for me! Usually things never work but this was AMAZING! You need to freeze your egg whites though because I didn't and mine wasnt that cloudy. It was more moist. Still delicious though. ❤❤❤❤

If you don't know, this is a special type of cake called a cotton sponge cake, and if your cake is too dry or burnt on top try using a water bath baking method :D also, I recommend having a cream or sort with it because if tastes pretty eggy.

Could you try doing a tres leches style soak with this sponge cake? My guess is it would turn out really mushy but if it held up I think all of the tiny bubbles would make the cake taste delicious.
