Love how with Breen movies I can watch different reviewers describe the same movie and it seems like completely different stories.
Artistic interpretation - that's how you know it's great art
Yeah. I've seen some that seem to have a whole other plot thread going on that Snob didn't even mention and I would have had no idea I was missing anything.
Yes!! Check out Homeless Movie's reviews of the Breeniverse. I was on the floor.
I am going to binge the Snobs Breen reviews. Sounds like a fun night!!😄🤗🤨🙄
Breen chose your own adventure would be epic
I get a similar feeling watching reviews of a same movie by the Snob and Phelous (or either of them and Nostalgia Critic). Each reviewer will have different takeaways and highlight different things, making the movie reviewed look very different.
The only reason why I know Neil Breen is a thing is because of you, Snob! Thanks!
Not an RLM fan huh?.
Check out SpaceIce
@@scottneil1187 haha was just coming in here to mention RLM.
This film was actually filmed in front of a Breen screen.
I like how out of all his movies, Neil decided that NOW was the time for a sequel. Like all his movies before Twisted Pair were neatly wrapped up but there were so many unanswered questions that he had to make a follow up
Probably because of snob and many other reactions is why he decided to make a sequel.
Heck the scene where he get hit by a train and pretends that it didn't affect him is his way of not subtly telling audience he knows his films are bad but he though the laugher of him getting run over is good not that they are laughing at him and making fun for that absurd trope of him getting hit a lot.
My point is neil is a naive clueless movie maker
And yet is answered nothing and added questions.
What happened to the powers he had before like unlocking doors. Can't open the van?
Why are Cale's alien made implants failing? So the aliens aren't perfect?
Cinema will never repay the debt it owes this man.
A whole tree fiddy.
"Thank you , Neil Breen, for making even OUR worst schlock look like gold compared to your crap."
😭😭😭
This movie feels like I'm watching footage from a 90s FMV game that was never made.
That is the comment I didn’t know I needed. You’re spot on
Neil Breen has really good adventure game protagonist walk cycle.
My thoughts exactly. Complete with the "items" that you can interact with being instantly apparent on the screen.
Yes! I was thinking the same thing. Something on the Sega CD or something a bit more 'ambitious ', like the Phantasmagoria 2 PC game.
Best thing about a new Neil Breen movie, is that we get to watch the Snob review it.
I think it was Fanboy Flicks that pointed out this movie looks like a full-motion point-and-click adventure game from the 90's
Rlm too
Neil Breen sort of reminds me of Louis Wain, the English artist who drew cats, and as his mental state deteriorated, the cats began to look increasingly psychedelic and symmetrical. In the same way, Neil Breen's movies increasingly reflect his descent into madness.
Your statement implies he didn't start out already mad.
Neil is a trendsetter. In 2024 he finds a way to go Straight to VHS
It's amazing isn't it?
The special effects look like something from 25 or so years ago.
Straight to VHS 😂😂😂😂
It's impossible to be in a bad mood while a Neil Breen movie is playing. It just can't be done.
I didn't believe you but then the scene with the white tiger fist fight played and then, as bank president, I was forced to believe you.
Never watched one, never will. I only use my time to watch good films, I have a very low tolerance for garbage.
@@scottneil1187 if that's the case, what are you doing here, watching this review?
Neil has a new movie? That's it. I'm resigning today as president of the bank just to watch it.
Yea right, you could just go home early, loser
I love it when Snobby reviews Neil Breen movies. I never heard of him before Cinema Snob. Neil Breen needs to hire Snob and his cats to be in one of his movies.
Wow, these folks read their lines like they had just seen them after they had been translated three or four times by Google Translate. Thanks for another Breen movie Snob.
Finally more of the true Breenius filmography from Neil himself
At this rate, they might as well make an award category for the film academy that goes "Best actor who is not Neil Breen".
Good god, that greenscreen work is magical! XD
Maybe we should call it "BreenScreen" here.
The Tortured Crossing is a special effects extravaganza. This is the George Lucas/Steven Spielberg side of Neil Breen. We now need the Martin Scorsese version of Breen or possibly the Michael Mann side of him. I think I speak for other fans of this man and can boldly demand a horror picture in the style of early Cronenberg or John Carpenter. That is a dream that I wish can be fulfilled. Perhaps a GoFundMe page for Breen??
Neil Breen, the Ed Wood of the digital age!
That's an insult to Ed Wood.
@@DarkOverlord96 😂 You're probably right, Ed did have a style that is sorely lacking in Breen's "films". I can watch an Ed Wood film from start to finish, but I doubt I could watch an entire Breen film; the short clips I've seen in reviews are enough.
Nah, he makes Wood look like Scorsese
I was sure at the end he was going to say "I must go back to my home planet now". and fly straight up like when they got rid of Poochie from the itchy & scratchy show.
after seeing this I am convinced Neil Breen should be in charge of the M.C.U and be the next Captain America.
He’s more of a Captain Caveman
Would make it much better than it has been since Avengers:Endgame.
I would listen to the kitties read the phonebook. They are most certainly actors.
I swear this movie looks like a 90s point and click adventure game 😂
As a former mental inpatient, I approve of this movie and its commitment to realism.
Because of the Snob, Brutal Moose and RLM Neil Breen is now a staple in my household.
I gotta give Neil Breen credit, not everyone can make a movie on a budget of $20.
Sadly, I think his movies cost significantly more than that. As with most vanity projects, they get money put into them, but still suck because the director/star/producer/everygoddamnthing doesn't know what the hell they're doing.
@@burninsherman1037 I was joking about the $20 thing, due to how cheap it looked.
Well true but then again he has the money to afford a Ferrari makes you wonder what job did he worked at before going to make his attempt at a film career to afford a Ferrari? And it's not a fake Ferrari it's the very same one from one of his previous films
I look into it a bit. He is a architect
Yea that makes sense how he is able to afford a Ferrari and make these films
@@evandaymon8303 The Ferrari is the only thing in his movies that isn’t fake. Does make me wonder were the money for his films is actually going if can afford a Ferrari.
The Breenius returns!
That dance sequence is the most amazing thing he's ever done
This whole movie was Neil Breen creating an early 90s FMV-based point and click adventure, like Wrath of the Gods or The Beast Within: A Gabriel Knight Mystery.
Think that's actually Neil's Ferrari 430 Modena. The Testarossa in Double Down was his too.
A sequel, Neil Breen? You spoil us.
Oh my God!!!! It's finally here!!!! I almost gave up hope!
So Bad It’s Good mentioned that possibly Neil used the Breen Screen because of lockdown and Covid, that makes sense (three words I’d never thought I would use in a Breenverse comment)
Cinema Snob is so hilarious 😂
2:46 LO-fucking-L. Breen never fails to stop with the hilarity. Also, it's a tram, not a bus.
I was certainly not expecting a dance number in a Neil Breen movie, that's for sure. Plus, this is the first Neil Breen movie not to take place in Las Vegas. Though I believe it's filmed there in Breenscreen Studios.
Pictures of abandoned asylyms and that type of stuff is beautiful in my opinion, so imo it's factually correct to say there's beauty in this movie.
A delicious review. Neil films remind me of the acting in FMV games like Phantasmagoria.
17:42 "I know what I'm talking about because I'm ....the judge? The Vice President?"
I laughed way too hard at the tiger scene 😂🤣👍
And why is it a white tiger? They don't even exist in the wild anymore. His inner Vegas is showing, he definitely went to more than a few Siegfried and Roy shows!
The X-Men/Glass reference made me nearly choke on my sandwich. 😂😂
Breen needs to get into FMV murder mysteries.
Always love when Brad delivers
I saw this in a one-day-only showing at my local Alamo Drafthouse - all of us turned it into an impromptu Rocky Horror experience.
Thanks for introducing me to his works, Snob!
Couple of things to unpack here. He seemed to make sure his lead actresses wore really short dresses. And despite his obsession with AI and gene editing, he clearly has no idea how they actually work or what they do.
Closest he got is that it does involve with computers for ai but that's about it
About time, snob! I feel like I've been waiting years for this!
I mentioned this to you in one of your previous videos 5 years between films i guess its better than waiting 10 years great video
These are amazing for not being great. And I love how the Snob reviews these Breen masterpieces.
Holy shit, it finally happened, Brad found a film that was cheaper anything David Decoto makes now!
This is the first Neil movie that I won't describe as "so bad is good"
How is this the first sequel? I refuse to believe that. I'm with you Snob, the Breenverse is real and continuously built upon through direct sequels.
Or maybe this sequel is start of the breenaverse
This is the first direct sequel. Everything else is in the same "Breeniverse".
I would CERTAINLY rather have a line in a Breen film than have anything Hollywood has to offer.
The most Philips CD-i movie I've ever seen.
"The hospital he's bern funding" - looks rather Soviet to me from the images Neil Breen used.
Yeah, how did it get so run down so quickly? The building pictured was abandoned 50 years ago at the very least. It would have looked awful when he started donating to it. Did he just mail the check without ever going there. I think the operating room scene says it best.
Dang Double Toasted should be roasting this in the week so i get double the entertainment. Thanks Cinema Snob 🤣
be sure to try his Cinema snob cereal it will bring out the snob in ya. (believeit or not starts to play.) each box comes with a free Caligula poster.
Even for a Breen production, I must ask "What the hell even is this?" 😂😂
8:15 Think I've been to this castle--Bran Castle in Romania.
Dracula's stronghold was a castle called Poenari--his stronghold and the site of many of the legends about him. It's just off the Transfăgărășan highway into the mountains--a road "Top Gear" called the Greatest driving road on earth. It's in ruins, sadly--not from any attack but by landslides. Today it is maintained by a local historical society. Only way to get to it is up about 1500 steps--nice cardio workout to see a ruined shell of a once awesome stronghold.
From Wikipedia--During the Communist era in Romania, foreign visitors sometimes spent the night inside the ruined structure; among them was Fatimeh Pahlavi's husband, Vincent Lee Hillyer, who claimed that in the night the temperature was much lower than usual in the castle (even in the month of July), smelled rotten flowers although there were none, he suffered from bizarre nightmares, inexplicably contracted keratosis, and got the "overpowering feeling" that he was being watched and got bitten without being physically assaulted.
Computers weren't broken this time just didn't have the passwords for them
You kept saying this was filmed on green screen. I think you meant breen screen.
14:56 I haven't heard acting like this since the first Resident Evil game 😂
Tommy Wiseau got James Franco. Who is Neil in the biopic?
I volunteer Liam Neeson!
I repeat the part with the cats in my head as a mantra weekly.
Having red lines on the thumbnail made me think I had already seen the vid (in the video progress bar).
"Breen Screen" is a marvel of cinematic genius he truly is a master of is own craft lol
22:10
Doug Walker appears.
Classic Breen, Classic Snob, thank
I love Snob's Breen videos. And his James Bond reviews; hint hint.
Totally been waiting for this one lol.
Perhaps the success of this sequel will encourage Breen's ambition and creativity to bring forth other sequels. Or perhaps bring in other characters from his other movies. I want to see the return of Cyber-Jesus from "I Am Here...Now" that's his best film in my humble opinion. Also less green screen, real sets always brings a higher quality to the films.
saw this on my feed and i dropped everything i was doing to watch this. Omg. 🤣🤣
Neil Breen should make FMV point and click adventure games, his movies look like them anyway.
I find it incredible how Breen seems to... not know things, I guess? Has the man never had an injection? Does he not know how syringes work?
Just what I needed
There is something fascinating about these movies. Not good, but fascinating. Like, what would David Lynch do with nothing but green screens, stock footage, and a cast of PTA members?
He’d still do better. He’d make something truly nightmarish, disturbing, original, and insightful - instead of derivative conspiracy theorist garbage that looks like unfinished ‘90s video game cutscenes.
Don’t you dare compare Lynch to this hack.
NEIL BREEN 6!
Thanks, Max Landis!
Seems neil getting self aware doesn't change him that much
😂I made it all the way up to the tiger fight... Then I died. I swear, I haven't laughed like that all year. Ok. I'm gona try restarting the video and get through the rest of it.
This is odd. I was thinking of Neil Breen yesterday. Now Brad comes out with a new video about Neil Breen. I must be psychic. 😂😂😂😂
he's a genius. dude knows exactly what he's doing and its fucking genius.
In the beginning Neil Breen was not hit by a bus but by a tram in Amsterdam for some unexplained reason. These movies are confusing 🤣
I secretly play "Believe it or not!" at the start and end of all your videos!
Thank you for being a real one on the down-low.
At this point the bad green screening has to be part of the joke. I mean there can't be that many places they couldn't film on location for. Though the sound quality isn't the worst for this show.
I was rewatching all the Neil Breen reviews just last night and wondering when you'd talk about this one.
This is Neil Breens Sound of Freedom
Finally another neil breen film review 😊
Ps glad to see burt and pearl again
I am sure hoping Brad does a review of 'Vanished - Left Behind: Next Generation'. 😂
This guy is a true master with powers.
I really wish she had said "get over here tired"
WTF!! I kept expecting the Energizer Bunny to break into the scenes!😂
Was this filmed during the lockdown or something? Feels like more green screen than all the other "films". Also, gotta love the delivery of "Damn, we need to make this an even fight!". 😂 And did he say that twice? Is that the spell for cloning?
The green screen and the fight scene towards the end with the people clearly not facing each other had me think of this. At least it would make sense.
I was just talking about Neil Breen yesterday, oddly enough.
The bad greenscreening in the other movies was building up to this, the ultimate Breen screen film
'Neil Breen being "hit" by a Breenscreened Amsterdam tram' was not something I had on my 2024 bingo card
1:15The psychic Siamese cats return! 3:15 Or just break them out of the van now with...wait, what the hell ARE Cade's powers?
3:45 Those "guys in suits" are his investors. 9:42 "Something is wrong with this guy!" Ya think?!
13:38 No Breen movie "needs" to be made.
How the deuce does Neil Breen get money and actors for his movies?
Omg another Neil breen movie? No way. Snob you spoil us.
In this movie we saw so many sauls but the most important saul is still Sol from Windy City 1984
I think Neil Breen embodies the saying " the lights are on, but nobody's home."
Now I want to see The Snob review Salo.
"Damn! We need to make this an even fight."
The best comedy I have ever seen. The best of the worst. Although, of course, there are others just as bad or worse.🤣🤣🤣🤣
You think Neil Breen specifically casts people who can't act? It has to be deliberate at this point.
