You guys made me smile with this and I got it for $63. Now I have to catch Brewzle’s video because YT suggested you guys first in my current search.

Sweet. Thanks for putting this video out there. Appreciate the banter and honest review. It turns out I got the exact same bottle based on the days, warehouse and floor combo.

It is a good bottle and awesome that you got the same batch. Lets us know if you had similar tasting notes.

Thanks for watching, and we enjoyed it as well. I had some again last night and it really is a good BiB. Hoping I can find some more in Raleigh soon.

Just for clarity its not a small distillery. They are otherwise known as Mccormicks Distillery in Weston Mo. They have been producing large volume cheap spirits for years. Ben Holladay started the Mccormicks Distillery in Weston and they dropped that brand in Prohibition.

Thanks for the information, always great to see the transfer of knowledge within the Bourbon community. It’s definitely a solid product and I will be on the lookout for more from McCormick in NC.

It is a small distillery, but happens to be owned by a big company. They do about 12 barrels a day if I recall. There are craft distilleries doing that much.

Someone just sent me this video, thanks for keeping me honest. I do have some bad news though. This is no longer the best bottle from Missouri. The Rickhouse Proof Single Barrel version of this has taken that crown.

Hi Brewzle, it’s an honor to get a comment from you. Ans thank you for the new info on the best bottle from Missouri. I will be hunting down a bottle of the Rickhouse Proof Single Barrel version for a future tasting. Would love to pass along some of the Elijah Craig 12 (Big Red 12) that we drank over Christmas time if you would like a sample. I hope you and Jill are well, I always like watching your videos and I try and catch you live when I can. Keep up the great work and maybe one day we can all have a bourbon together!!

But is it worth the price 🤔, alot of good stuff out there $20 cheaper.

Soft Red Wheat is a better pour.

Have not tried it but I guess I have to know just to know whose side I’m on. Lol. Thanks for comments and keep them coming.

I hear conflicting reports of which one is better. Most people agree that each one is really good though.

That’s a way better price for the Ben Holladay. Can’t get liquor in Costco in NC. Will have to take a trip to SC for some discount prices. Thanks for the info.
