Hi I stumbled across your video and enjoyed it I'd like to say it's a cult classic as well as so bad it's good I was 13 when this movie came out To this day I still have that line pop Into my brain occasionally "The whole who's the Master schtick by Sho Enuff
Hey hey my man, this again is a film I haven't seen, and probably never will. I struggle with the American Kung fu kids - I have seen loads of really terrible films in my time and I am older now, so will be selective in my viewing choices, but always will support you and your quest. Love the Bad Religion reference, I experienced the underground thing I loved becoming the next big thing. Jackie Chan tried breaking into America a good few times, haven't seen Protector but I watched Battle creek brawl recently, it's OK but I am looking forward to your thoughts mate. As always, loving your work.
Mitch! I very much get the selective viewing thing now, I do it with games too, and everything else for that matter. 10 years (or so) ago I just kinda realized that I was never going to see and/or play it all, but luckily it's also part of the reason I go hard on recommendations from friends, yourself included, because rain or shine that thing will bring people together! Even for a movie like The Last Dragon :). Unfortunately you have yet to recommend a bad movie so I have to go out and find them on my own! What was the underground thing you experienced becoming the next big thing?
@@ryan_runs_ Grunge mate mainly. I bought Bleach before Never mind was out. I saw Nirvana in 91 when they were unknown, a year later they were the biggest band on the planet. Grunge was my punk rock and musically it's how I probably identify. I have seen a couple of Yuen woo ping films lately, Miracle fighters and Buddhist fist are superb, definitely recommend - Shaolin drunkard is toilet. I have also been watching a fair bit of Jackie Chan too. We should catch up soon mate for a chat.
If you cant have a good time watching The Last Dragon... it might be time to take up model trains.. or crocheting. Like Pauline Kael said... and I'm paraphrasing.. "Movies are so rarely high art that if you cant appreciate great trash, you probably shouldnt watch films at all."
Great example, I was never in on the ground floor but seeing some of those obvious garage bands sell a zillion albums was definitely somethin else, that's pure 90s right there
Well said! To each his own and all that, and of course I've been guilty of piling on here and there, but more often than not there's something to appreciate, some little piece of a person that's worth a second look, and Last Dragon has far more than a few imo
Quite possibly the best movie of ALL time. Sho’nuff! 😂
I have no evidence to the contrary
