- Come along with the SANDMARC filmmakers as they guide you through when to use the SANDMARC Wide Lens for the iPhone. With the SANDMARC Wide Lens, you capture ultra-wide, sharp photos and videos on the native iPhone camera. It delivers far sharper images compared with iPhone's native ultrawide camera, especially in lowlight conditions.

should i shoot with telephoto to use that 48mpxl or use the wide lens with the wide lens
Should I buy the wide lens now? Or wait for the iPhone 15 pro to be announced? Is it compatible with all generations?
Hi there! I would recommend looking at our website. We sell our lenses by model of iPhone- because each one designed to fit that iPhone specifically. If you choose to upgrade to an iPhone 15 Pro, you will have to wait still we design a wide lens to fit those specific dimensions. Hope that helps. www.sandmarc.com/pages/shop-iphone-wide-angle-lens-sandmarc
You recommend Filmic Legacy, what about Filmic Pro? Is there a difference? Why Legacy over Pro? Thanks!
Legacy is not a subscription based app and has a one-time fee. Both versions are great.
Looking to upgrade lenses. Noticed on the vlog spot that you didn't move much...can you show footage of how it looks actually walking and talking? My Moment lens does this weird jello effect that looks awful if i move even a little bit while vlogging.
This jello effect Is inevitable and it's something they generally do not want to demonstrate. Stabilization for a wide lens has to be very perfectly tailored in software and hardware - even the iphone ultra wide isn't perfect and it's got billions of dollars of research into it. Youll have to use a gimbal for anything wider than the main lens if you want the jello effect reduced.
@@calvinatdrifterstudio8438 gotcha. I figured I’d have to do that and use a 3rd party app to turn off stabilization and only let the gimbal work.
EXPENSIVE
Is there distortion
No, it's sharp edge-to-edge.
The price is still high
lol yeah you buy products and always have to buy third party stuff to utilize them
