Welcome to being awake . You are doing something that most people in society have no interest in doing , you are thinking . There is more to life than living in a cube . I have one piece of advise and the advise is free . There is an old book called Vagabonding in America by Ed Buryn , find it and read it . There is one for Europe too but the country isn't important , the important part is the philosophy . There is a few videos on youtube but the book is great .

I recommend finding your "thing". Find something that you love doing, for me, it was movies and shows. I've been watching Supernatural, which is really good and takes my mind off college and everything else. I also recently discovered that I like drumming, so I would look up drum covers on TH-cam and practice doing what they do. These are examples of what I do with my time and I hope you can find whatever you like to do and do it, because you have to take your mind off of everything every now and then. But I'm a pretty anti-social person, so it maybe different for you.

Thank you Charles, you might be right that I got to find my 'thing', however my problem is that I don't know what could it be. I always try to justify my actions. What ever I do I got to see the point of doing it. It could be getting smarter, stronger, calmer or what ever.
Just recently I started to experience pleasant feelings while doing some ordinary things and I believe it could be something you meant in your comment. Another day I was on a flight to see my parents. I put a music on my headphones, turn a game on on my iPad and really just enjoyed the moment. Maybe having those moments is very crucial to be happy.
Once again thank you for your reply.

Hi there. The video is two and a half years old and although I am happy seeing that some people resemble to what I felt at that time (and it makes me feel less crazy), but my feelings and thoughts had changed. Well my whole life has changed a lot since then.
At that time I was unsuccessful in anything. I had no self-esteem and I was just about to start accepting myself and the world around me. Maybe it was a bit late but it is better later than never, plus I still haven't finished discovering myself.
Well back then I was reading philosophy books written by some Indian philosophers, learning Buddhism, meditating, no meat or alcohol intake and so on... yoga too :) So I believe that at that time when I made the video I was at my breaking point. I made some space for my thoughts and observation and probably I felt a bit lost in all my thoughts and all what I observed. I was hoping for the best, I was praying. But I couldn't see any changes, I felt like life is very unfair. I felt like I wanted to start my journey, although now I understand that I was already on my path.
Short after the video I found a full time job as a graphic designer and was very occupied at work. The work was very stressful and 9 months later I changed it for a job as an assistant land surveyor. Me and my wife were expecting a baby so I wanted to find something different - calmer. The job as a land surveyor was kind of good, I saw many places and my colleague were cool. However, I left it too, just 1 month ago due to our move to Brasil. My wife is from Brasil and we thought that being surrounded by her family is definitely good for our baby girl, who is now almost 6 months old :)
So I still hope to find my purpose, a part of being a good father, or something that I would really enjoy doing. However I already feel much better than what I felt then. I read books, watch movies, try to do what ever I like and, I think, that's how I discover the world, make a meaning out of it all. Now I also like history, anthropology.
I am still on my journey and hopefully I will find what I am so desperate to find. Or perhaps my life will show me that, maybe, what I already have is enough. Sometimes I feel that all the confusion comes from our feelings. When we feel good, it is all good, but when we feel bad, it is all bed.
Anyway, I sincerely wish you all the best!

I think a very important thing in life (working life) is to enjoy what you do and work at your own pace. When you work for someone, you are expected to perform and most bosses turn you into slave drivers. Thats not work anymore but an existence. I have worked for myself most of my life. The times I worked for people I would be made to work hard. I always worked and did work to the best of my ability. When I worked for myself, I didnt make the same money as other contractors who's only purpose is to make money. I took pride in my work and did it well.
I do not know if this helps in your situation but perhaps, take pride in what you do and set your own tempo and enjoy it. If your boss doesn't like the production, that only you can deal with.
There is more to us than what we have been taught.
Watching movies buying devices for entertainment purposes and making life so difficult we have to work most of our life just to pay off a debt we can never repay is not the meaning of life and not giving us enough time to see the real world.
Again I might not be saying things you are looking for.
I know lots of people don't give me the right answers. But then I ran into people that did give a different perception into reality.
