    As a 41 year old truck driver who spends months at a time alone, I learned a long time ago that you can either be your best friend or your worst enemy. Don’t let the things around you pull you down. Keep that joy inside of you and learn to exist in your own bubble. Remember when you are alone no one can hurt you. If you are an introvert, embrace it. Don’t let society or social media dictate to you how you should live your life or what happiness and fulfillment is. Live by your own standards and no one else’s. Then and only then will you start to experience the happiness that comes with true freedom. Stay positive and take it day to day my friend and I remember even when you feel alone, your not alone because their are A TON of people just like you.

      Great comment. I think a lot of left out kids and young boys go through this growing up. You have to stop letting the world, social media and any one other thing people say than yourself that you are a worthy human being, your style is dope and cool and everything else about what others may think or you think they think of you.

    This is something I learned from a long time ago. I was a “nice guy” my whole life because they say to treat others how you want to be treated. But then over time, I learned that most people are only in it for themselves and will take advantage of you for their benefit. I didn’t become less “nice”, but I stopped taking shit from people and letting people take advantage of me. When you learn to do that, people will naturally respect you more and know better than to step all over you. This is the advice I would give to young men like you who are struggling with this. Assert yourself or you will be used.

    • @itsmesteve1081
      @itsmesteve1081 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +128

      Bro, it's not about asserting yourself. It's just about being a good human being. The reason nobody likes nice guys is because they always do something for other people just to get something back from them down the line. If you're ACTUALLY a nice guy nobody would have a problem with you. And trust me I have seen both. There are nice people who manipulate other people for their own gain and then when things don't turn out as they expected they get angry and frustrated. And I have also seen benevolent people. The people who would give you a dollar even if they only had two dollars. They stand up for the ones being picked on even if they can't even protect themselves. Those type of nice people are never alone because people want to support his cause. You'll get angry with me. You might even rage. But I am speaking the truth

    • @miraclesage8622
      @miraclesage8622 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +69

      Being nice doesn't get others to care about you sadly, it just gets them to take advantage of you. For people to care about you you need to first meet the right people, people who want genuine connections and have empathy, and second you need to build a close bond with those people. Having mutual interests or a shared outlook on life can help bring people together, but like I said it's not that easy. Some people just don't have it in them to truly care about others even if they act like they do, and it can be really challenging to find people who are more than just talk.

    • @ErickMcNerney
      @ErickMcNerney 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +18

      Same lesson learned here. And it's not about being less nice, like you said. It's almost enabling to reward people who take advantage of us. So it's actually not nice to them to continue to give when they don't appreciate it or give in return. Not that we should always expect something in return. They will just continue to use us, because it gets comfortable for them. I think also just being solid with yourself, where you know that it doesn't matter what other people do, if you're happy with what you're doing, that's all that matters. Not to be so dependent on how others treat us or look at us. It's a tough one. Takes time to truly live it, even if we know it's the better way to live.

      First off, DO NOT GET CHEMO, it destroys your immune system at that will seal your fate. Find alternative medicine that will do Vitamin C intravenous infusions, then you'll want to get Ivermectin 9mg dosages, take that on off 2 or 3 days on, and 2-3 days off or every other day, have that doctor develop a plan for you. Eliminate processed sugar, start juicing every single day using a masticating juicer at, least 24 ounces using only organic beets 3 of them, 1 cucumber, 1 apple, 1 lemon, 1 lb of carrots, 1 cup of spinach and 2 sticks of celery. Stay away from additives in food, such as maltodextrin, high fructose corn syrup, monosodium glutamate, fake sugars especially and preservatives and processed foods. If you drink city water then stop, get a Berkey water filter system for all of your water. Try and grow your own vegetables as well, to help with costs and stay away from synthetic fertilizers and soils with those fertilizers, only OMRI certified.
      Cruciferious vegetables
      garlic - boosts the immune system
      berries blackberries highest in antioxidant Indian Goodberry highest antioxidant food in existant
      mushrooms - Lions mane, mitake, reishi, turkey tail, shiitake. - loaded with vitamin D and boost the immune system
      turmeric and black pepper- This is important
      Eggs are your best friend, make sure there's no antibiotics and organic as well free range.
      1 crushed garlic clove
      ginger 1/4 teaspoon
      1 lemon juiced
      honey 1 teaspoon
      1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper - This will be rough and require a chaser of water
      There's also Rick Simpson Oil which has had amazing results for people with glioblastoma and other extremely aggressive cancers. You can look more into that if that options seems like something you'd be interested in. I personally would use everything in my arsenal to survive. You follow all of this and you'll survive. As somebody who moved to Japan, I can tell you that the other side is absolutely brutal as well. I love Japan, but you would be hard pressed to go more than 2 minutes without having somebody point out something that's wrong with you, or some social standard you're not living up to. It can be March 31st and 70 degrees outside, but if you're not wearing winter clothes and a jacket you'll have every single person you meet ask you "Aren't you cold!?. What's wrong with you?" THIS GUY ISN'T SOCIALLY NORMAL! And then it could be literally 40 degrees the next day, but now it's April and 98% of the country decides that it's time for spring clothes. "Aren't you hot!?!"
      Seems like a petty complaint, but anyone who's lived here knows what I mean haha. The drone mentality and toxic collectivism can turn every interaction into some kind of mini job interview, where the prize is that you aren't publicly ridiculed, shamed, or more often ignored.
      And again, I love Japan for a lot of different reasons, but the way people treat strangers here, at least in the big cities, is literally like they're looking through you. You often see people crying or hurt at train stations, and literally thousands of people just walking by them. "Just don't make eye contact. Don't make eye contact. They have no relation to me. If I don't make eye contact the problem goes away." There is a sense of community in Japan, but it tends to be rooted in this desire for everybody to live up to a social standard, and definitely not in sharing snacks or juice boxes like this guy said haha. Sometimes this can be a good thing. But I miss the genuinely kind people who take action in the US at times. It's rare, but almost unheard of here. Once you break through the shell, Japanese people are uncharacteristically kind. But I can't imagine a more lonely place to float through life without genuine connections than downtown Tokyo.

People ticked me off in the past and I got aggressive especially at my friends. I was a dickhead and now im paying for it now(although I still am), idk why I act so different between different people and I find myself talking shit about myself, I bring myself down and kinda hate myself, I can’t really be too emotional, And I’ve been getting bad habits like eating too much and watching porn, I want to stop having these bad habits and stop acting happy cause I’m not, i am thinking of taking serotonin or something cause I can’t seem to get happier. No one likes me and I feel like a disappointment. Habits made from my parents in early childhood. I put myself down and end up affecting people around me.

Instead of realizing "hey I'm better than them", people who should do that think "I'm not good enough for anything". Instead of "hey I'm actually not that smart and I'm not worth that much" people who should think that blame others for their downfalls instead.

    Your tears sent me back forty years to my own. I was also often told (usually by pretty girls) that I was ugly. One girl at school sneered at me, "Why are you *weird* ?" and all I could say in reply was, "I don't know." In my case the answer, in my thirties, turned out to be Asperger's syndrome. But I married a lady a few years older than me, and we've been married 30 years now. I came out of school with low grades and didn't pursue higher education. At age 52, I finally achieved my life goal of publishing a BBC audiobook based on their TV series "Doctor Who". Hang on in there, friend. Listening to your story, it's like we lived the same exact life. For the first 18 years of my life, by best friend was my cat. Everyone hated me in school. And my dad beat me every week. And when he wasn't beating me, he'd tell me how I ruined his life, that I'm useless, constantly that he'll kill me, and every time he looked at me, there was so much hatred on his face towards me. My mom told me "when you turn 18, you leave and never come back". Every night, I look up at the stars and wonder "when will this suffer end?". "This is my life?" "Why is this happening to me?". I had no esteem because I got beat at home and was alone in school. Teachers didn't like me. It was just so lonely. It's a pain so deep and endless, I thought no one could possibly ever feel this pain. I'm also chinese, the only one in my grade. There were chinese that were grades above me or grades below but not in my grade. In school, I was the quiet kid that sat there hoping so desperately that someone would come talk to me and be my friend. That never happened. And without being in any friend group, everyone else used me as the punching bag or at worst, I see on their face the expression of disgust whenever they saw me. One guy even blatantly says my face is "flat and ugly", "that I smell bad". There was field trips where the teacher passed out sheets to write down who students would like to be with and who not to be with. And out of my peripheral vision, I could see my name on their paper for "who not to be with". Imagine the loneliness. I'm feeling the "sinking tingles" of loneliness as I'm writing this out. And like you, I cared about everyone and I cared so much. This was 12 - 20 years ago now. I'm 30yrs old now.
    But college happened, and it changed my life. I got my first best friend in 1st year of college: Kevin, and 12 years later, we're still best friends. And then as I lived more, more and more best friends came into my life. And then 12 years years later, I realized I have multiple best friends. That I no longer need to define what a best friend means. I would die for any of them.
    In middle school, I got beat up by these guys. And the others say I would never be good enough for a girlfriend. And unfortunately, the constant bombarding trauma of that era still affects me as a 30 year old today. I've never had a GF. And it's my fault. It's not like a girl hasn't liked me, but the moment I start liking them too, a switch flips within my "soul" and such an ancient overwhelming self loathing activates and I end up backing out immediately before the relationship even begins. I'm still trying to overcome this. My subconscious still thinks I'm unworthy. I went to medical school partially to propitiate the piece of my soul which bears that weakness.
    And years and years off feeling useless, I built an interior that resists all the weariness of this world. I can turn emotions on and off. I've mastered self control.
    Right now, I'm a 30 year old in medical school. I had a dream as a lonely beaten child in middle school. Looking up at the night sky, and the infinite potential of the universe, I realized....if I just lived long enough, I could outlive all my bullies. I could outlast all my problems. I could eventually one day find peace. And so I decided I wanted to cure aging and extend my lifespan to out live all problems and that some solution would appear someday if I just lived long enough. Those long nights of wondering about the future.....time flows slowly for a middle and high schooler. And the suffering and loneliness felt infinite. It took the thought of infinite lifespan to allow me to overcome that.
    Now as a 30 year, I have already spent over 20 years of my life trying to research and extend lifespan. 7 years in biotech. And I'm almost done with medical school. I will be a doctor. And I will research aging and take care of patients. And along the way on this journey I've invented for myself, I've made the bestest of friends who I see as family and I would die for. I'm finally no longer lonely even though many of us are now countries apart, it almost feels like the world is my friend now.
    So my advice from a fellow lonely and hopeless child, is to create a singular purpose for yourself based on the motivating aspects of loneliness. As einstein said to paraphrase, "be a loner, that gives you time to wonder and search for the truth". An then live that purpose. Follow strength of your conviction of your purpose which sprouted from loneliness and you'll make irreplaceable friends along the way.

Something is keeping the cells mitochondria cleared of waste so it can continue to produce electron energy for the ATP to transfer the electrons to the nucleus to maintain the DNA chains Electromagnetic bonds that hold the base pairs together without loosing the telomerase caps off the end. When a cell divides, it looses a cap every time. that's because the over all voltage or amperage drops and the chain can not hold on to that many caps anymore. Eventually, when enough caps are lost, the cell stops dividing and dies.

    A lot of the stuff you said resonated with me. I'm 23 & have had my family completely cut off for a few years now.
    When you grow up poor & don't have the luxury of decent supportive parents, it puts you at such a disadvantage in life. I moved 1-2 times a year EVERY year once my parents divorced (around age 7 or 8) when I was a little kid, so I never even had the option of making friends. Whatever friends I made, I'd have to leave them behind when I moved. I was bullied so much growing up for a variety of reasons. My anxiety and depression came at such an early age and took over my life due to not being able to have a stable home or friends. I was blamed for my grades plummeting, even though the curriculum in each school I went to was completely different. My mother never helped me with homework, and I was blamed for all of what I went through. My father was an abusive alcoholic that I didn't see often.
    The only people that showed me any level of warmth or kindness were hundreds of miles away online. For years, the internet became my sanctuary and life. I escaped in videogames and online people. I was groomed by sickos online as a kid, because I was so easy to take advantage of due to the lack of support & love in my life. My intentions were always to just find friendship & love.
    My family & the school bullies also attacked my appearance. I have been called ugly, and 2 of my older sisters have attacked very specific features of my face. I hate myself and I hate how I look. I do my best to blend in with makeup, but I know deep down I will never match up to the beauty standards society has set.
    I always felt alienated growing up. I failed academically. I was shit at sports due to my size & scoliosis. I was blamed for not being able to physically do things everyone else could do, before AND after my scoliosis diagnosis. When you come into the world with a big heart & have to go through so much hate and trauma early on, it fucks with your head so much and sticks with you. You ask what you did to deserve any of this. You lose faith that the world is worth living in. I always felt misplaced, like I was some malfunctioning person put on the wrong planet. I've grown to learn that there are others who feel the exact same way... there are so many good hearts beaten and bloodied by the world's cruelty, and it makes me cry just thinking about it.
    I just hope that you can find the very few people out there that genuinely care. The ones that don't want you for anything you might be able to give them. I found my people at the worst points in my life when they had no reason to stay with me other than unconditional love. Even when I tried to push everyone away, they never gave up on me. Finding those true gems in the world will reignite your big heart. There are people out there that deserve your love, and I truly hope you find them and never let them go. As sad as it is that my only source of love and comfort has been through a screen all these years, I am lucky to have found that comfort at all.
    For men, I feel even more sadness for, because men simply need more people to care about them as a whole. I watch videos of Dr. K and Dr. Aditi Nerurkar about the epidemic of what men have to go through in today's society, and it breaks my heart listening. While I hope society eventually makes steps to change this, I know it starts with each individual, which is why I'll never let a man in my life feel he has to bottle things up or constantly be strong. I'll never let ANYONE in my life feel that way. I hope others will do the same. I love my men, women, and everyone else.
    Sorry if this was all over the place. I know walls of texts can be cringey, I just wanted to comment letting you know that you have a right to be upset by all this, and never to let anyone tell you otherwise. Sometimes privileged people don't realize that not all of us have a bright side to look at. But I sincerely hope you find better people to surround yourself with. You deserve it.
    Sending much love. 💝

    I was bullied because of the color of my skin. I use to be called dirty because my skin was tanned in grade school. By the end of Grade school, they wanted to be like me and Tan in the sun for my color. It really messed me up because i already hated them for the way they treated me. So i did not trust them to be friends. I learnt to block people out of my mind. Not to listen to their words and opinions. You are learning here. You are learning to cope, empathize with others in your situation. You are evolving. This is to create who you will be. I learnt to bite my tongue when i wanted to say something. But also say something when you think its right. Its all for the good. You will see. You will be older and be able to tell people why you are the way you are, and what you have learnt.

    Brother, you are not ugly by any means. You appear to be in decent physical shape and seem to have a down to earth personality which is far more important. I felt like you were describing my life growing up with everything you mentioned. From wanting to seem "normal" to being nice to everyone only to have those phonies ignore me when I reached out to them. You are definitely not alone in feeling out of place in this sick world we live in.
    I was in your shoes for awhile where I was going to college for a degree I wasn't even interested in, just doing it because teachers pressured me to go to college after high school. I ended up getting my CDL as soon as I got my degree and I can say it's one of the best decisions I made. Easy money, and work doesn't even feel like work a lot of the time. I don't know what my life would look like if I entered the corporate rat race, but I am thankful to have found my passion at such a young age.
    I don't know if you're a religious guy or not but I found God for the first time in my life when I was 20 and that turned things around in my social life for the better. The people I met at my school's Christian group were just what you were wanting in relationships- down to earth, non judgemental, and care about who you are as a person, not what physical looks or possessions you have. Even if you don't have any friends in real life, your posting of these videos is making a positive change in other peoples' lives, and you have the support from people on the internet.

    Dude you're just too nice. I had to learn that lesson the hard way too. I studied med for over a decade, I thought everyone would be proud of me, no matter how much I sacrificed, I felt like it would eventually be worthwhile. But ultimately, I learned what I needed to learn, and realized nobody gave a shit if I made it or not. It wasn't even about me, I did it for everyone else, but when I finally accepted the fact nobody cared, I just said to hell with it.
    There are givers and takers. Unfortunately, the system we have elected punishes philanthropy and rewards selfishness.
    That's why good people like you get screwed over. It won't always be this way, one day good people will get what they deserve, but unfortunately that's not the world we live in yet.
