    How long of videos should I plan on taking to see that stars move that much in the sky? Thank you. Your the best

    • @AdventuresofRon
      @AdventuresofRon  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Charles! The star lapse in the video were shot on a single battery! so ~2hours would be a good start. if you intend to shoot a long star lapse - i'd recommend, 1) to increase your interval setting; 2) connect the GoPro to a power source (battery pack, etc...)

    Thank you Ron!!! I have a question...I had shot once with 1600 iso max and the shot was a little grained.... when I have to put down the iso for the night photo or time lapse?
    Thank you man!

    • @AdventuresofRon
      @AdventuresofRon  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Kristian, great question! so i typically would only bump up my ISO in dark/night conditions. No right or wrong, some prefer to shoot under exposed & then edit in post.
      However, for shooting stars - you'd have to bump up the ISO, if not the sensor will not be sensitive enough to capture the stars. hope that helps!

    Hi,
    For RAW photography, is the setting the same or is there something different? In my case, why is there a lot of noise when the ISO is higher than 400? Thanks genius. excellent content

    • @AdventuresofRon
      @AdventuresofRon  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      well if you intend to do a fair amount of post-processing work, i'd recommend to capture with a lower ISO - that way you'll have a 'cleaner' image to work with.

  • @FunDudes.
    @FunDudes. 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Love the tutorial! :) Quick question: What is native ISO? :) Is it like a RAW file?

    • @AdventuresofRon
      @AdventuresofRon  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks man! Native ISO? - there isn’t a native ISO setting for GoPro.
      Did you mean native white balance? It’s basically a mode that records minimally processed data file that allows for more precise adjustments in post-production.

    • @FunDudes.

    how can we convert nightlaps photos into final video edit?

    • @AdventuresofRon
      @AdventuresofRon  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      What GoPro model are you using?
      If you’re using the HERO8 or 9 - just set the format to video. & you’ll get a video file.
      If you’re using the previous versions, & shot night lapse photos- simply import all the photos in your editor & you’ll have a series of photos which will be a Timelapse!
