I've been a catholic for one year and for 8 months I've attended the TLM. There is so much information and opinions about the Church crisis. The Lord I believe has lead me to the truth. He is the only one that can NOT fail me or lie to me. Watching this is prompting me to pray, pray and pray more about what Gods Will is for me and why He has brought me to love the TLM. Speaking frankly, I ALWAYS thought the TLM was just the mass in Latin. This series really encouraged my wife and I to learn the Tridentine mass and attend weekly and it has truly rocked our faith life.
The book, Nothing Superfluous, is a beautiful explanation of the depth of meaning and significance of every prayer and every movement in the beautifully choreographed Mass of the Ages in which the sacrifice, the re-creation of the passion and death on the cross. The Mass is offered humbly by a penitential priest facing the crucifix and praying to God. Actor Shia Leboeuf came to know and live Gof through the simplicity of the low Mass. I appreciate the beauty of the high (sung) Mass in which the congregation takes an active part in the responses and some of the chanting, as well as the Solemn High Mass which is offered by a priest, deacon and subdeacon. Written by Fr. James Jackson FSSP, even the four appendices are very interesting and informative.
You might also find the booklet by Michael Davies "A Short History of the Roman Mass" interesting. And there are comparisons between the text of the old and the new on-line as well. God bless.

Not discounting the Marian element of feminine activity, a criticism from Anthony of Avoiding Babylon is the missed opportunity to depict manliness through the sacrifices made by seminarians and fathers and catechists. Women are over represented in the Novus Ordo. The TLM insists on separate roles. I hope in the future there will be more discussion on servers and deacons as well as male cantors and scholars. Also how the traditional liturgical practices of penance challenge modern men.

I loved it. My only critique is that I wish there would have been segments on the origin, history, and development of the Traditional Latin Mass (and I'm talking the entire trilogy).
@johngabrielminjares1632 True. I hope they do. I just think it would have better set the stage and context. We all know about the destruction of the liturgy. How many people know about it's development?
“[The Council of Trent] furthermore declares, that this power has ever been in the Church, that, in the dispensation of the sacraments, their substance being untouched, (l) it may ordain,- or change, what things soever it may judge most expedient, for the profit of those who receive, or for the veneration of the said sacraments, according to the difference of circumstances, times, and places.” (Trent Session 21) Lefebvre and the SSPX is wrong. It’s the masterstroke of Satan to get Catholics to disobey the Magisterium in the NAME of tradition. There’s nothing traditional about consecrating bishops without Papal mandate, acting contrary to the Pope, disobeying an Ecumenical Council, declaring the approved rites of the church dangerous to souls and heretical, “recognizing and resisting” the lawful Pope.

If possible try to work on making the Trilogy come across the theatres in India especially Goa, Calcutta, Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, Bangalore, Cochin and other major cities of India or even in Parishes proper
Asking is a reverant Novus Ordo as good as a Latin Mass is not the right question. The right question is whether a reverant Novus Ordo sufficient for its purpose? Does it deliver graces needed to aid the believer to salvation? Not everything in creation has equal dignity and equal rank. The Archangel Michael has a higher rank in the order of angels than your guardian angel, but your guardian still provides sufficient assistance to aid in your salvation, if you choose to listen. God does not give equal grace to every person, but he does give every person sufficient grace to get to heaven, if they choose to cooperate with that grace. So, I think they focus on a preferential question when they should be focusing on a question of sufficiency.
I read here that there are people who goes to the TLM in their area. In our city, I hear we have 1 or 2 church that offers the TLM but why would I drive far looking for a TLM so why not put the one TLM on a Sunday schedule in every church in every city after all a mass is a mass, is a mass. If nobody attends then just remove it from the schedule. My thoughts is that it will be packed and standing room because #1 people who had a taste of the TLM are/have been hungry a long time, #2 curiosity for those who never experience a TLM, #3 presence of the sacred, reverence, holiness which is present in the TLM engages one to God right away.#4 we all miss the smells, bells, church hymnal, holy water of baptism being sprayed instead of just a drop of water or nothing.

After all the crazy disgusting things happening in the new mass there is a need and urgency to go back to the TLM. We should pray to God, to help us in these times of crisis. However, we Catholics should never doubt that there are very good reasons why God wanted the Novus Ordo Mass for His Church and that rebellion will only keep causing more damage, like the Écône consecrations did in 1988.
There is a danger worth mentioning when self-proclaimed Traditional Catholics become exclusivists. For example, guardians of Tradition have the responsibility to correct calling the Novus Ordo Mass "evil" and should not exclude from the conversation the dangers of Jorge Bergoglio's fallible doctrines. On a related note - the dignity of Jesus is uniquely Infinite Who is Truly Present in all the valid & licit (even the Orthodox illicit) Divine Liturgies ~ Holy Sacrifices of the Mass.
One thing that needs to stop the phrase “smells and bells” which demeans the purpose for incense and the bell rings, both of which are their own sacrificial prayers to God. This phrase is offensive.
I disagree that Trads were the target audience. We already knew that Traditionis Custodes is a disaster. We are the ones kicked out of our parishes. We are the ones who suddenly have to spend much more gas and drive much farther to go to Mass. We're the ones whose communities are being broken. We're the ones who get the Sacraments denied for our children. We're the ones who get insulted and ridiculed by our bishops and the Pope.
