The original video is 55 minutes. For some bizarre reason, when it was uploaded, it terminated at 50 minutes (maybe the file was too large?), and this was not known to me until the video already received many views. I'll post the last 5 minutes as a separate video (together with the Q&A), but meanwhile, here is the missing text until the lecture's end:

My family and I joined the TLM in February of 2022 after months of not being allowed to receive Communion on the tongue. We joined a small parish and never looked back.
Prior to this switch I had been longing for something deeper in my faith for quite a long time.
Since joining the TLM I have had so much of my mind, heart, and soul filled that I feel closer to God and Jesus than ever before. The rituals are so beautiful to watch and the preaching is solid and truthful which challenges me to think about the sins I commit and what I need to do to be a better wife, better mom, etc.,
The altar is decorated so beautifully and Confession is always available. I love the feeling of love in my heart when I’m praying and when I receive the Eucharist.

He absolutely never offered the Novus Ordo for the simple reason that he died in 1968 and the Novus Ordo was not released until 1969!
The reason some get confused is that Padre Pio was forced to say Mass "versus populum" at the end of his life. He did so out of religious obedience but fortunately God took him from the world before he was subjected to the humiliation of giving up the Mass of the Ages.

On the matter of active participation, I think of the Novus Ordo and the TLM as Martha and Mary respectively. While Martha was distracted with preparations, worried and upset, Mary sat at the Lord's feet listening to Him. Such is the difference between busyness and contemplation. Only one thing is necessary and Mary chose the better part.

I'm a Trad and I make a daily devotion to The Precious Blood of Jesus Christ. If you know the Chaplet you would be familiar with the petitions. They clearly address the problems that are happening in the Church. An example is the third mystery "Cover the foundation of the Catholic Church against the plans of the occult kingdom and evil men." This is right before our eyes. Reparation and deliverance prayers are very important to pray during these dark times. We are being attacked from within the hierarchy of the Church, and I consider them the enemies of God and the body of the Church. Another powerful devotion is The Holy Face of Jesus. It is a powerful prayer against the outrages of the Bergoglian papacy.

This is a truly fabulous presentation.(I don’t believe I’ve ever said that before about anything on TH-cam.) Dr. Kwasniewski quotes a young person explaining why the TLM is flourishing, and says “Young people do not need a watered-down, easy faith.” This statement is key in understanding the magnetism that the old Mass, the Mass of the ages, has upon young Catholics today. Although I myself am just a bit younger than Bergoglio and other modernists, I have come to totally understand the irresistible pull of the TLM, and I think I also understand the loyalty of modernists to the novus ordo mass although I personally love the TLM. Many people as they age recall the fervor of their youth for certain ideologies, for certain movements in art, literature, politics, or scientific discoveries that for them heralded a new age of hope. The fact that that age of hope never materialized is irrelevant to them and they continue to champion the same beliefs they did in their youth. That, coupled with the fact that many old bishops seem to not even believe in the Real Presence or in the faith itself, makes the TLM so much more desirable to young people. The TLM is also the true form of Catholic worship that the Lord wills for the true Catholic Church. It is not watered-down or easy. One must work at it; one must read, study, sacrifice, face suffering and mortification.
I guess I went off on a bit of a tangent. My original point is that Dr. Kwasniewski has done a tremendous job with this talk and the bishops should listen to ideas like the ones presented in it. Soon their generation (and mine) will pass away and younger people who love truth and
    tradition will lead the Church.

Do you recall an author who wrote a book mentioning that the Southwest was chosen as an early "testing ground" for the modernist errors to be forced on the people of faith, namely Hispanics, because they were taught to never question the priest? I remember reading the book but remember neither title nor author. Would you know? (I attended all conferences, including those in Rome. Sir, you seem very familiar.) You say that the Vatican II Church is a new religion. What was the 50' Church like and how was one saved? Because, what I wrote above is nowhere in the Bible for the Bible says, we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus who did the finished work on the cross for our sake and of course, He is merciful.

As a cradle Catholic of 70+ years I have lived both the Latin and the Novus Ordo Masses. Both are beautiful and inclusive when done in the manner intended. I usually attend the Novus Ordo because our priests are very traditional with respectful and traditional hymns. I prefer this Mass as I can understand and participate more fully. Several months ago I went to a TLM and was very disappointed because I found it hard to follow, the priest wore no microphone so I could not hear and the readings for the s ruptures did not follow my missal and the priest’s homily was very short and very academic. I was disappointed because I had not felt that way growing up. I think that either form of the Mass can be done reverently or be done either way out there or as a Montana to be completed. Putting that aside, what I think is more important is that we as individuals understand that the basics in both forms is the same. Our participation is dependent upon how much we understand what is happening and our willingness to participate in the prayers. The Mass of the 400s looks more like the Novus Ordo and the TLM. Looks more like that of the 1500s. Both are the Mass- Christ becomes present in the Holy Eucharist and the priest and, we the people offer ourselves to God. Fr. Chris Alar has a podcast on TH-cam that explains the biblical aspects of the Mass and goes through each prayer and explains the actions of the priest during the Mass. Understanding the basics unites us with God and the sacrifice and resurrection of Christ in the same sacrament in both Mass orders. . We both receive Our Lord present in the Eucharist. I do not understand the dispute over which some are trying to divide us. We are One True Holy and Catholic Church. I do not agree with the Pope nor the magisterium who are trying to eliminate the TLM and I do not agree with those who prefer the TLM insistent that that is the only form of Mass recognized. The bottom line is that when we go to Mass, it is our responsibility to adore OurLord in the fullness of whatever way we can best serve and adore Him. Once one understands what is happening during the Mass and understands where and why our prayers and responses come from we can attend Mass anywhere in the world and praise and adore God as Christ and the early fathers taught us. Our intent and participation in what is occurring on that alter is way more important than what form is used. Just my personal thoughts. Would attend TLM from time to time if it were closer to where I live. God bless. With the pressure being placed upon Catholics in this country it is important that we remain United as division is what the powers to be want.

The funny thing is that as an NO attendee I 100% agree with the assessment that the TLM will speak more effectively to Catholics
In my experience, LifeTeen for instance, was a failed attempt at speaking to the younger generation “on their level”. Many of my friends and fam who went through it, despite being quite excited at the time, no longer attend church regularly.
But the traditional movement puts the Vatican in a pretty tough position: ‘accept our terms or watch the Church wither’.
Even if that ultimatum is simply a statement of fact, where do you go from there?
I just have trouble seeing this fight end with Papal Authority in tact.
Maybe I’m missing something; would very much like to hear other’s perspectives on this.

I may be misunderstanding your comment but I really don't think the traditional movement is really doing much to threaten the church as you have said, in my personal experience (living in an intensely novis ordo town) is that the church just seems to rot by itself. The only reason I am still catholic is because of the Latin mass. To everyone else in town who hasn't experienced TLM, they treat their religion like an annoying ritual to do so we don't upset grandma rather than an actual communion with God. Many people I know will just outright say some of the stuff (like Joshua invading the holy land) as actions not inspired by God. They have no theological argument for things like this other than random basic Jesus quotes like "turn the left cheek" when Jesus also said things like, "Sell your cloak and buy a sword" Jesus frequently quotes the old testament and people just are picking what they personally think is divinely inspired like it's a restaurant. People like that usually just convert to some protestant denomination. And most people who defend novis ordo and call me a "holier than though person" will not defend their faith. This post Vatican II catholicism is an unsustainable religion. The fact that the Vatican put themselves in this situation is not any living traditionalist's fault. If anything it's like watching somebody bang their head against a wall saying and saying "If you do that too much you will suffer brain damage" Those are my thoughts, I would like to hear your response.

@@timmyjimmy7413 Thanks for the reply. A lot to respond to there but I’ll try to be succinct:
1)To clarify, I didn’t mean that the TLM is actively hurting the Church or threatening her -I was just saying that they’ve proposed a kind of ultimatum to Rome. (An Ultimatum= ‘I demand _____ or _______ will happen’)
      2) on The Novus Ordo Churches ‘rotting’ by themselves.
-I think you probably have a point.
But lemme point out that today’s wandering Catholic isn’t truly choosing between The Novus Ordo (NO) and the Traditional Mass (TLM) alone. The secular world has been beckoning the whole time and is only getting louder. My guess is that there’s a portion of the Church that would be on its way out no matter what and the NO can’t fully take the blame for an entire culture.
The remaining question then is what’s the best way to keep the people who are still on the Fence (and even to attract new converts)?
I think we both agree here-Tradition is the best way to go.
One of my main points though is that the Papacy is a part of that tradition and (even though YOU haven’t been too abrasive) many trads I come across speak about Pope Francis with an attitude ranging from indignation to ‘he’s a false pope’ to ‘I’m okay with schism’.
3.) The TLM itself is not the same as the TLM *Movement*.
-I’ve never been to a full high mass yet, but I know from everything I’ve seen that it is beautiful. Even elements of the TLM that have started to come back at the local NO parishes have been a real gift to our weekly Masses.
But the online trad movement is quite another thing altogether. Mr. Kwazniewski says that the crackdown has nothing to do with bad behavior from traditionalists, but maybe that depends on your perspective. The aggression I’ve seen from some towards the pope (not to mention a host of other questionable political affiliations is disturbing)
      4) There are plenty of non-trad resources that are doing plenty of good for the Church: Bible in A Year, Catechism in a year, Trent Horn, to name a few. The Internet has been
      5) You’re really not gonna like this but, here it goes): I think in a lot of ways we’re asking too much of priests. A priest is there to perform the mass, and deliver the sacraments. Never EVER was there a Church consisting of all perfect clergy. I only say this because the bulk of reasons I hear for people leaving the NO or Church are about the hypocrisy of people or priests. Mmh 🫤
Now, I perfectly understand if a person wants the TLM to be the form the priest says. But even scandal isn’t a great reason for not studying your faith deeper and reflecting it back out to the people around you.

Specifically with regard to papal authority: I think that one side benefit of this crisis may be a more thoughtful view of papal power. A lot of conservative Catholics attack the traditionalists for defying or criticizing the pope, and I don't think that it's just the rude tone of some of us (regrettable though that may be). There is a perception that the pope is above any criticism, and whatever he says goes. This mentality is a recent development since Vatican One. I don't mean that infallibility is wrong, but some people think that any judgment the pope makes is so. At that council, one of the strongest supporters of papal authority was a Spanish bishop. He said that a pope could fall into material heresy out of misinformation, but not out of malice. That's a far cry from the conservative position. Every crisis in the Church causes problems but leads to some more doctrinal clarity.

We are being told by the pope that it is ignorant and backward to enter the sacred sacrament of mass if it is said in Latin. Did our Lord say we should pray together, but he did not designate any language. The apostles were by the Holy Spirit given the knowledge of other languages, so they could tell all peoples of our Lord, and again no specific language was designated. I love the Latin Mass because it closes the outside world and focuses my mind on the adoration of The Holy Trinity. My faith is with me constant in God in any language, but I more and more question the changes that have taken within the Catholic Church. People online are returning to many different traditions (some good and some questionable), the Church has really only gotten a slice of the pie. (A big and beautiful slice, yes🙏 )

Traditionalists are not a creative minority. The big problem with traditionalists is that despite you all being mostly correct about liturgy you are unfortunately coupling your understanding of liturgy with a toxic conservative ideology that has little Catholic way of thinking. For example, Peter sites Francis and his cohorts love of liberation theology, but thats typical traditionalist reply without knowing about what JPII said in 1987 about liberation theology.
Perhaps more of us need to read Hillenbrand and better understand the connection between good liturgy and Catholic social action as one good starting point.

    • @DrKwasniewski

This seems like a red herring. Either traditionalist are correct about liturgical matters, or they are not, independently of their particular social commitments. After all, one could be a monarchist or a democrat, a capitalist or a socialist, and from either point of view advocate for either traditional rites or modern ones. Indeed, examples can be found historically.
However, I would say that the Catholics who are most seriously interested in Catholic Social Teaching are the traditionalists, because they take the preconciliar Magisterium seriously, and that Magisterium was nothing if not serious about politics, ethics, and culture. The liberals do not have a monopoly on social ethics or care for the poor.

@@DrKwasniewski traditionalists are correct about many things pertaining to liturgy but not everything. Historically I don't see many trads who advocate for socialism though, but there are problems with so-called Catholic socialism.
And why not also take the post conciliar magisterium seriously? From observations, there aren't many trads who take CST seriously, they treat it as if it's a liberal pipe dream. Nevertheless it would help if more trads took CST more seriously, from Rerum Novarum thru Fratelli Tutti, not just RN and Quadragesimo Anno. Also, I'm not saying liberals have a monopoly on social ethics or caring for the poor, the problem is that not enough trads and conservatives care about social justice and ethics and social charity, and would rather just only talk theology. It's like they're actually allowing liberals to have a monopoly on social ethics and caring for poor. It starts with trust. More trads need to trust what the magisterium has said about subsidiarity, solidarity, property rights, universal destination of goods, authentic development of people, care for the environment, just wages and workers rights, otherwise liberals will continue to run roughshod on social ethics and justice with their messed up ideology.

I was hoping you weren't going to obscure the jew issue commonality also. Then you used the "woke" euphemism for the takkun olam behavior agenda of the historic enemies of the church.😮 You had the opportunity to step ahead and make a difference by appealing to cause but, by sticking to effect citations you didn't.

Fair enough. There's a great deal of collective naieve acceptance of terms (and narratives) at the surface level even though they have an occult intent. Simply that "woke" is the next euphemism acceptance segue from the current judaio-masonic "post-Christendom"
materialist usurping human-centric order (i.e. democratic republics) that replaced Christ's kingdom of Church-corrinated kings, to the actual inverse/opposite talmudic or satanic order.
      I hope that's helpful.

I unfortunately came across American Catholics that are... They claim, that for example Luminous Mysteries added by saint pope John Paul II are not "real" mysteries, because all popes after Vatican II, are not real popes, called me "a modernist" for explaining, that a pope is a pope, although I perceive myself as conservative. It was first time, I've encountered such thinking. I didn't even expect someone could come up with something like this.
One thing is saying, that pope makes bad decisions, or is having bad intentions, but the other is claiming, that he is not a real pope.
In our history we had popes, that were adulterers, were vain, and extremely greedy, some of them might have had very little or no faith in God, and we still acknowledge them as popes. Why would we reject our current popes? It would be against the words of Jesus, that saint Peter is a foundation of His Church and the gates of hell, will not prevail it. There is no Church if there is no structure. Especially if there is no head of it. No matter what moral status that person would posess.
If there would be no head, it would mean that "the gates of hell" indeed had prevailed it - which we know from Jesus, would never happen, because He said so.
So - there is a head present. There always was and will be. Till the end of times.

@@greyhoundmama2062 such a poor try. Jesus specifically said, that His Church will last, and gates of hell will not prevail it. To exist the Church needs to have a structure. Your objection is based on a false conflation of the Vicar of Christ and Christ Himself. A vicar can, of course, be a failure; he can abuse his office; he can fail to represent the one whom he is supposed to represent. The Church guarantees that the pope will be right ONLY when he speaks "ex cathedra" on a matter of faith and morals, or when he speaks in unison with the universal ordinary magisterium of the episcopacy.
