To get the results I am after, I need some way to sync the video footage to the tracks recorded in the studio. Is there a way to accomplish this with CapCut? Thanks in advance.

Hey Trevor I love your videos. Will you ever make a video on how to improve video quality or at least what is perceived to be video quality? I record videos on a not-too-good Android phone so that would help a lot do you have any phone/camera suggestions?
A couple tips: Make sure you're recording at your phone/camera's highest quality. I film at 4k, 24 FPS. Next is lighting. Light is EVERYTHING. Lower end cameras and phones don't do well with low light, so film where the lighting is good, or add light. If you're doing "cinematic" stuff, you'll want to control your focus. You'll sometimes want to LOCK your focus so it doesn't drift, and so you can keep focus on your subject. On an iphone you tap and hold on your subject, then realease when the locked icon grabs it. Not sure on android. Stuff can look killer on nearly ANY phone if you follow the tips in my last video on filming cinematic video.

Re: 6 (audio). I struggle with determine the volume of my music track vs my voiceover track. Either my music is too loud and drowns the voice or you can’t hear the music at all. Can you share how to get the music vs. voice levels right?
Also, how to shorten a music track to fit the video segment.? Yours ended great, but I struggle with my cuts being too disruptive and how to mix…

I do my screen recording in Camtasia, but that's all I use it for normally. When I edit, I use Premiere. My editors use FCP and Premiere. And... I'm looking into Davinci Resolve. I just use what works!

How /Can/ Does Capcut handle iPhone HDR video ?( i.e blown out footage if monitor is not HDR )
I can drop HDR video into the latest capcut version . It imediatly just creates an SDR ( Rec 709 ) image . If you press modify you can change the color space to HDR . However upon save it says device cannot support HDR ( even though my BenQ monitor 100% displays HDR - proved in Premiere )

Love your videos!! I noticed that my exports even at the highest resolution are small in size when compared to Davinci. Is Capcut not exporting the highest possible resotution?
If you're using the Desktop version, which this video is sharing, you just need to make sure you have the current version and make sure you export settings are correct. I suggest 4k, the frame rate of your footage ( I shoot 24 fps) and try setting bit rate to "higher".

Is capcut music copyrighted? Do you have any information on TH-cam?
I don't have any inside info, but I think for desktop they are trying to music now that's clear to use. I can't seem to find any mainstream pop music in their music library for desktop. So... I think it's become more safe to use than it may have been in the past. The music in this video is from CapCut, and their are no issues. So far. Personally, now, I'd go ahead and use it.

Do you really think those other editors such as Pr and Final Cut are more "professional"?
Absolutely. You have more fine control and more features that matter when you do a lot of editing. But they aren't necessary for most people.
I use Pr but I think Capcut does a lot of things better! So many legacy features in Pr and similar software that is not needed but creates deep menus... @@TrevorJonescreator
