I really like this tool but here in Hawai'i it is hard to find. The only thing that I don't like is the strap that works the cutting mechanism. Once it breaks it has to be totally replaced (you can't knot it to the broken end as it won't pass thru the narrow passages). The articulating pruning head is very good ensuring a straight, square cut.
Do you find that the strap loses tension frequently? I am having a lot of trouble with the end piece getting knocked loose and the strap becoming loose, and it's not quite obvious to me how to retighten it.

Yes I have had that issue arise. There is a simple fix for it, I just uploaded a video that shows how.
