Omafietsen are rapidly disappearing from the streets here actually. The very popular Swapfiets bike lease service is still using them, so you see those a lot, but other than that many of them have been replaced by f'ing ebikes. The Temu saddle is ridiculously wide and big even for our upright bikes btw. Look how wide the nose of the saddle is, it just gets in the way.
Riding in ponchos is a game changer! You stay quite dry, it vents amazingly And you only have to take 1 thing off when you get where you’re going. But you NEED fenders/mudguards
Lol, actually I used to have a pair of these "mountaineers" glasses (with leather sides). Not having light come in from the sides make the eyes much more comfortable. Much unlike the tiny darkened glasses: your eyes adjust to the light coming in from the sides and then the tinted glass makes the center even darker 🙂 The last item I can only see one purpose for: If young dads have a seat for their child on the back (you see that a lot here in NL) , this will prevent them from hitting the child first when unmounting
I think the UCI banned a saddle that had a little backrest. It was supposed to allow the rider to push against the back of the saddle thereby providing more power to the pedals.
I've always been confused when it comes to "clipless pedals". In Germany we call them 'click' pedals which I highly suggest you do as well my dear English speakers
The saddle with back rest could be more suited for a more upright position step through City bike. Perhaps if you could test it on a Dutch style city bike it could be comfortable and useful. Like those old banana bike saddle with a back rest. On a road bike where your body position is leaning forward. Of course it would be pointless.
Not sure if anyone has figured it out yet, but the chair seat is a very standard current design for electric trikes. As most electric trikes are also step-thru & sit on like a chair, the whole balance, seat back and bike mounting/dismounting are irrelevant on those. I'm not a trike fan, but it does serve a purpose. On the other hand, watching Francis try to get a leg over was priceless. From one Francis to another - nice try!
You know you've hit a new low when you own one of the products. I have 2 of the handlebar extension products; 1 about that size and 1 smaller. You're supposed to mount them in front of your handlebar I think. You can even mount them in front and below. You put your computer up on your stem or handlebar and then use the handlebar extension for lights and/or camera.
I use those drop bar mirrors on multiple bikes. You have to get use to them. I have one that's less convex and I can see a vehicle behind me from a couple blocks away. The mirror that's more convex is harder to judge a vehicles distance, but once you get use to it, it's okay. I wouldn't ride my bike without it.
I like that you said "clipped pedals". Somebody has to start to go away from the wrong term "clipless". As you have 266'000 subscribers the term "clipped pedals" might spread out in the cycling community if you continue using it. By the way: I have *clipped* pedals, too ... :-)
I ride a step through cruiser and that big saddle would be super comfy and I wish I had one. The valve stem light also had a photo sensor on it, so it was made not to light during the day, didn't even give it a fair chance.
I have a similar saddle, it works on my step through. And it is sooo comfortable 😌 my posterior say yes! I also use duel handle bars so i can sit back, chill and take it all in 😉 LG
Love my bar mirror. The trick is that you can see cars really well if they have their lights on, but comnbined with the garmin radar - safe as houses when you pull out for a natter.
Apologies if it’s already been mentioned, there’s an artist called Venjent who wears those teeny tiny glasses and creates drum & bass songs from weird noises.
I almost bought that bike seat/rest for my Electric Unicycle (EUC). Sitting in that position on a EUC actually works great for braking since you lean back to brake. I bought a regular cushion bicycle seat instead though, also comfortable. The stock EUC seats are not comfortable, but good bumpers
backrest saddle..... i made myself a stretch bmx chopper... that would be perfect ! wrist or bar mirrors.... i got a small one for riding my recumbent, its amazing how small it can be to just give a glimpse of whats behind, and thats all you need.
That was genuinely, properly funny. Despite the absolute sh!t we’ve had to go through in the last couple of years, we both laughed long and hard. Thank you. Absolute gold.
Carefull with cheap sunglasses! They often don’t offer any UV protection. But they darken the sunlight. Hence the iris of the eye will be fully open to compensate for that. and because of the open iris and the lack of UV protection your eye can be damaged by that. No sunglasses are way safer than cheap ones.
I actually used a TowWhee rope for pulling my daughter up the hill or on longer tours. Its a different system though as it resembles a slimmed down bungee rope of sorts. And it works really well!
Omg, wife and I were in tears over this episode. Hilarious! Jimmy looks like Ronald Lacey (Major Toht) from Raiders of the Lost Ark with those glasses.
Bike rain capes are great- they actually keep your legs dry, and you get less sweaty than in a rain jacket. Also, they make people smile, especially if you get one in a bright color. Mine is yellow.
The tow line is not my idea of safe out on the road but I've seen loads of folk on e-mtbs towing mates on proper bikes up to the top of the trails, looks handy.
I use the wrist mirror all the time. I really love it. But I will admit, the strap is trash. I replaced mine with a leather watch band & it feels great. Mine also swivels so you can put it out to the side. I couldn't tell if yours could. If you replace the strap, it's very handy.
I used to work at a bike shop in America and those really stupid seats are actually pretty well liked on those fat low American cruiser bikes where your feet are ahead of your hips, your seat is dramatically lower than your bars and you either sit straight up or lean back depending on your size. People riding proper bikes are not the target customer.😂
Temu given excellent products never a issue...some delivery issues longer delivery time but its not temu. Did have them erase a critical temple order as 3 orders in 48 hrs. ..they said activity in question...took us all.days to do the order so never repeated it. Had to cancel Mastercard get new.
I actually love the larger sunglasses, but they would never work here in Florida. With the humidity we have here year round, those glasses would fog up in a second.
I have to say having a mirror isn't bad but you should try some for the bar ends next time. Can just recommend those especially if you're out with other people who are not as fast as you.
Children: they are called clipless because before there was only toe CLIPS and straps. Once these pedals arrived, you didn't need the clips. (Or the straps.) Their name has nothing to do with being clipped in or not. The first SPDs appeared at Aviemore MTB world cup in 1988. A little before your time.
I though the glasses suited Jimmi, the wrist mirror try fitting tat to the handle bars, and I think the saddle would work with bikes I've seen in France that are very upright and the handle bars sweep backwards.
The towing rope could be handy in an emergency if, for example, you were out on a group ride and someone had a mechanical such as a free hub failing, and you just needed to get to the nearest mechanic?!
13.24 that bar extention I seen someone making the Ultimate commuter bike is the name of the video he attached 2 big round car horns for a bike on it damb they were just like car horns they looked like my old Twin DH night headlights I had years ago lol
7:08 a poncho is absurd. You will get soaked from below, and the poncho will get caught in something. looks like a hazard to me. caught in mudguard, chain what have you.Wind means rain comes from the side, and riding on a wet surface, a puddle means water splashes all over from below.
Great fun. Basically you get what you pay for. Like the stickers. First saw that style of bike seat in China a few years ago. Mostly on step through cruiser bikes. The glasses may not have UVA or UVB protection🤔
Those small glasses, referred to as 'granny glasses' in the States, took me back to the late 60's (I was born in 1950, and yes, I had a pair or three). Seems a certain Beetles (John Lennon?) vibe has taken over???
Not all cyclists ride drop bar equipped bicycles, some of us, me included, prefer flat bars so maybe the seat with a backrest would be OK for some of those folks. I still don't want or need a bike seat with a backrest but others may.
5:41 When you think there don't need to be any more traffic safety laws crap like this comes along. Being attached means the ride in the back cant get out of the way of danger.
FWIW, Rene Herse' makes a beautiful little bar-end plug mirror that's stealthy, works great, and is bling bling enough for a fine bike. Spendy: 100$ US
Legit thought Jimmys new glasses (not the tiny ones) were just a ‘new setup’ and was like… they’re great! (Before turns out they were Temu) 😂
Thought they suited him better than the small ones. Nick looked better with those though.
I had the same thought as well until the reveal
honestly, I thought he was rocking them
Soso en Di yes eh hw to us eh by
i need to buy these glasses
?
The saddle would be fine on a Dutch bike with a low top tube (a.k.a. "oma-fiets" or granny bike). They are very popular in the Netherlands.
You could also just use it with no hands wich is what I do sometimes
My thoughts exactly. Petition for Cade to have a town-bike as apart of their stable for such tests!
I bet it's more comfortable than that Saddlespur! It's more aesthetically pleasing than that phallic thing.
It may be still impractical, but it would look good on a cruiser like a ruffian.
Riding in ponchos is a game changer!
You stay quite dry, it vents amazingly
And you only have to take 1 thing off when you get where you’re going.
But you NEED fenders/mudguards

Jimi shouting to Francis ‘will you stop pulling the fucking brakes’ when you are tethered together had me howling.
10:58 I don't remember the last time I gave myself belly aches laughing like that 🤣
i had to stop the video and slap my monitor
😂😂😂😂😂
You made me skip the video just to go see this part. I had to rewatch the whole video after to see if anything else was this funny
The tiny glasses are a key element for Venjent, an English drum&bass tiktok comedian producer. And believe me, that makes sense.
I've always been confused when it comes to "clipless pedals". In Germany we call them 'click' pedals which I highly suggest you do as well my dear English speakers
Seriously made me "laugh out loud". We need a Jimi-Tests-Weird-Products playlist, please.
😂😂😂 Those tiny glasses, actually lol'd 👌🏻👌🏻 🕶️
send a pair to danger holm XD
They make you look like the Dr from the nightmare before Christmas haha Dr finklestein 😂
Gotta love those eyeball-sized shades (they're hideously hilarious)
The saddle with back rest could be more suited for a more upright position step through City bike. Perhaps if you could test it on a Dutch style city bike it could be comfortable and useful. I love my klipped pedals. Reminds me of Dutch wooden slippers. Klompe
I prefer 'click-in pedals'. As a word for it I mean, because for riding I actually prefer flat pedals :-)
Honestly this is probably one of your best videos 😂. It's biking centric but entertaining enough for a wide audience
Was feeling rough today, but those tiny glasses and god awful products made my day. Thanks guys 😂
These two are the goofiest two guys I've seen who are also sensible and relatable. I keep coming back for their videos.
Jimmy turned into Venjent with those tiny glasses
the saddle wold work in the Netherlands we dont really commute on racebikes over here
Love my bar mirror. The trick is that you can see cars really well if they have their lights on, but comnbined with the garmin radar - safe as houses when you pull out for a natter.
I have the little round mirror on all my bikes. All you need to see is the lights of upcoming car - that’s enough. Absolutely love it.
This needs to be a recurring series. Once every month or two.
Apologies if it’s already been mentioned, there’s an artist called Venjent who wears those teeny tiny glasses and creates drum & bass songs from weird noises.
jimmys reading is getting soooo much better!
I almost bought that bike seat/rest for my Electric Unicycle (EUC).

Great content, Jimmy's tiny glasses had me creased 😂 more like this please 👍

Using a shot of Gregg Wallace looking miffed for the 0/7 broke me. Brilliantly done.
There's one of Patrick Stewart hidden in there too lol, didn't notice the Greg one!
11:29 Adam Sandler meets Léon The Professional!
I actually used a TowWhee rope for pulling my daughter up the hill or on longer tours. Its a different system though as it resembles a slimmed down bungee rope of sorts. And it works really well!

Wrist mirror tape easily can be extended with an additional simple strip tape.
Alpine-style glasses are awesome.
the Zefal version of a bar end mirroe works great, is chap, and holds on with a rubber grip band so easily removable. I'd recommend one of those.
I use the same mirror in this video on a couple of my bikes. You just have to get use to them...They don't move when you ride over bumps either.
Jimmy those glasses were made for you
The tow line is not my idea of safe out on the road but I've seen loads of folk on e-mtbs towing mates on proper bikes up to the top of the trails, looks handy.
I use the wrist mirror all the time. I really love it. But I will admit, the strap is trash. I replaced mine with a leather watch band & it feels great. Mine also swivels so you can put it out to the side. I couldn't tell if yours could. If you replace the strap, it's very handy.
Those cyborg/welding glasses looks pretty cool to be honest
I used to work at a bike shop in America and those really stupid seats are actually pretty well liked on those fat low American cruiser bikes where your feet are ahead of your hips, your seat is dramatically lower than your bars and you either sit straight up or lean back depending on your size. LOVED the video guys 😂 when Jimmy tries all the stuff at once it is just hilarious
Oh my god those glasses gave me a wonderful laugh. Those are a cheer factor of 25/7. I was crying, that was the greatest gift on the planet.
I have not laughed so hard in my life as I did with Jimmy and those tiny glasses. beautiful mate. keep rocking them you look great
1:36 fabulous glasses! where did you get them from?
Temu given excellent products never a issue...some delivery issues longer delivery time but its not temu. Did have them erase a critical temple order as
3 orders in 48 hrs. ..they said activity in question...took us all.days to do the order so never repeated it. Had to cancel Mastercard get new.

Thank you so much for making me smile and laugh before my cycle to work - loved it!

Their name has nothing to do with being clipped in or not. The first SPDs appeared at Aviemore MTB world cup in 1988. A little before your time.
Honestly, that seat could work on cruiser with swept back handlebars.
Also, please keep wearing either of those glasses; they're amazing!
LOVE THIS EPISODE 😎💯👍 Love the saddle with the backrest 💥💥💥
13:58 Surely the bar would go straight out, not pointed up like you have? That would eliminate length issue
I just bought a bar extender and yes they are great for adding more things to the bars
Those tiny glasses suit Jimmi so much hahahaha, especially when hes frowning, bloody comic book character 🤣
I though the glasses suited Jimmi, the wrist mirror try fitting tat to the handle bars, and I think the saddle would work with bikes I've seen in France that are very upright and the handle bars sweep backwards.
The sound of Francis' laugh at 11:07 is amazing
The way Jimmy's eyes disappear behind the glasses killed me
Those tiny glasses remind me of the Dominic Cooper character in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. You are both comedy gold in this edit 🤣
The towing rope could be handy in an emergency if, for example, you were out on a group ride and someone had a mechanical such as a free hub failing, and you just needed to get to the nearest mechanic?!
Those glasses (not the Gojou glasses) are sick, not gonna lie.
That seat might fit cruiser bikes better
Jimmy is now The Professional with those glasses.
Those tiny glasses had me crying with laughter!!! Worth every penny!!!! An easy 10/7
Jimmy's rants are the best
The small glasses fit Nick so well, he looks like the Dad in Coraline. 😳
More important to have two bright, flashing lights on the back, if I might be so bold.
Léon The Podcaster.
13.24 that bar extention I seen someone making the Ultimate commuter bike is the name of the video he attached 2 big round car horns for a bike on it damb they were just like car horns they looked like my old Twin DH night headlights I had years ago lol
On the positive side, of all the saddle backrests released in the last week, this one is the least phallic.
Were those sunglasses from Temu? 😎😀
Oh, they were! You do not look like an explorer, more of a prat! Funny though 😀
It was fun watching this, I give you that. But please let this be your last video featuring Temu
7:08 a poncho is absurd. You will get soaked from below, and the poncho will get caught in something. looks like a hazard to me. caught in mudguard, chain what have you.Wind means rain comes from the side, and riding on a wet surface, a puddle means water splashes all over from below.
The back rest is designed to keep your but on the saddle, under extreme acceleration. 🤗😎
Those tiny glasses make Jimmi look like Jackie Earle Haley (Breaking Away, Watchmen, The Bad News Bears)
Those little glasses made me cry laughing, best thing iv seen in a while...
Obviously need to do an ALT bar city build Just for the saddle. Would be a great Wideo!!
OMG JIMMY WITH THE PONCHO REALLY CRACKED ME UP Hahahahahahahahaha too fun!!!! 😂
Spoke too soon the small glasses were the worst hahahaahahahahahahahahaha
I legitimately laughed out loud at the tiny glasses reveal!
Yea, I got a bar end mirror on my touring bike. Can't really see shit in it, but you can tell when a car is coming up, which is all I need it for.
11:15 Oh, finally someone've found those glasses which wears that dude who makes music from random regular sounds in his life.
14:01 frame had me in stitches 😂
In those circular glasses and that hat Jimmy looks like a mini Jean Reno in Leon
he will love you for this
Good to see Doc Ock on the channel
Not all cyclists ride drop bar equipped bicycles, some of us, me included, prefer flat bars so maybe the seat with a backrest would be OK for some of those folks. I still don't want or need a bike seat with a backrest but others may.
5:41 When you think there don't need to be any more traffic safety laws crap like this comes along. Being attached means the ride in the back cant get out of the way of danger.
I told the wife to not buy anymore garbage off Temu, we bought a couple bicycle bells, complete garbage
FWIW, Rene Herse' makes a beautiful little bar-end plug mirror that's stealthy, works great, and is bling bling enough for a fine bike. Spendy: 100$ US
6:54 for a split second it looked like jimmy was wearing ass-less chaps on the bike. But it was the comfort saddle playing tricks.
I waited the whole time for the big glasses to be removed to reveal the small glasses underneath, yar missed a trick there guys
More shows like this. Love it ❤
14:28 this is like they designed a bar stool, but marketed it for cycling. This is absurd. But you can make a bar stool out of it.
If it had a different mount the saddle may be more suitable for a recumbent bike.
"like when Homer gave Marge a bowling ball" 😅
