    Embers are pretty cute! But where oh where are my fav tetras?!? Neon green tetra are such cool fish!! They change color depending on what light you have and where you're viewing them from, above, straight in or below. Anything from Green to blue or purple. Awesome fish.

      I agree with what you are saying, but TH-cam shorts are not the answer. Shorts have to be fast and snappy otherwise people just scroll past. I have tried making more informative shorts, but they perform horribly ☹️

    • @FishKeepingAnswers
      @FishKeepingAnswers  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      They are two different species of fish. If the question is ‘how do you tell them apart?’ Cardinals have red from head to tail wheres as Neons only have red half way down their bodies 👍🏻👀

    I assume the answers no but any chance does there exist a fish that can live in a 4 gal tank with no heater? (17-22c, depends on time of year, mostly 18-19)

    • @FishKeepingAnswers

      White clouds minnows would work. A small group of male only guppies would be fine too 👍🏻

      @@FishKeepingAnswers those are 2 great options! I'm going to do a bit of research into both, summer is off to a great start in Ireland so the tank temps are pretty much perfect sitting at 21-22°. Any chance could I ask why it was only male guppies though?

      They are more colorfull so you will prefer that to a female group (but it's not important what sex you choose).
      If you mix males and females they just start to reproduce like crazy and will fill up your tank pretty quickly until the day when you have to give, sell or kill some of them (or get a second bigger tank, and again and again !)

  • @mr.octopus6972
    @mr.octopus6972 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Can you mix all tetra types in a tank or some of them are considered aggressive ?

    • @FishKeepingAnswers
      @FishKeepingAnswers  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      When you say ‘all’ tetras, the answer is probably no, as species like the Bucktooth Tetra should be kept in a species only tank. If you mean ‘all’ as in the majority of tetras you are likely to come across in your local fish store, the the answer is probably yes 👍🏻
