Im from philippines and paper cups operator for 10 years,,and this is the first time I've seen the way they pack the paper cups in a box and putting in a pallet it almost done with the machine.because in our company all process in packaging is made manually by a worker, amazing video thumbs up,i hope 1 day i work on this company 🤩
I love Korean products these really amazed me the way they manufactured their products it's hygienically clean from processing food to hardware etc..they're superb 👌 & the processors are always wearing gloves & protective gears whatever products they processed. thanks to all Korean manufacturers job well done❣️👏👏👍
The brains here are the people who write the software codes for these machines. So precise!! I can't imagine how long it takes to build one of these factories!
There's actually less software on display here than one might realize, a lot of this is electro pneumatic machinery, so air pressure, switches, solenoids, regulators and electric current. The machine is setup by an operator pushing the right buttons, positioning the machinery and setting up the proper light and proximity sensors to automatically control actuation during the process. But definitely there is also newer computer controlled equipment in here as well which has the same mechanical components but they run through the software and coding brain of the computer and less on human machine operator brain.

My mum worked in a big print shop and I loved going there when all the presses, cutters, and folders were working. Sometimes it was so loud I could hear music in my head - brain trying to make sense of the different percussive noises, perhaps.
I always wondered how Korean cups could be sold for $1 for a pack of 50 in my area AFTER shipping costs, customs tax, the store's labor costs, taxes, profits, etc. I see it was made possible by extreme automation. Pretty crazy.
I worked in the printing industry and surprisingly this is actually "old" automation equipment there's even more advanced machinery available with even less human input and control. But the old stuff works and will still print millions of feet of product. Towards the end near the shipping process all that automation can also be applied to all the other processes these days with enough money in new technology. Examples, when the printed roll was finished and it automatically went to a new roll, most modern machines also have automatic roll pasting for the infeed roll but here an operator loaded and taped by hand using the crane lift (this was my first job as a paper roll tender) The ink mixing can also be done by machine and pumped in and cleaned but here was manual. The changing is the rotogravure cylinder to the next brand was manually lifted by an operator this can also be done robotically now. The press itself is gear or belt driven and modern presses are controlled by servo motors. These servo controls allow extremely precise control and the motor could run forward or backward if necessary. Just another side note these printers can also print multiple colors even though here was just black. Multicolor creates even photo reproduction possibility but it's a bit more work in lining everything up in registration and color matching but a very fun job. When they finished the roll of paper in a state of the art warehouse this would also be automated and the rolls are moved by machines and robots not rolled around by a human. I like this era of machines though, when something breaks I can fix it and don't need a computer!!
You see Asian manufacturing companies are much more ethical. They price ethically. If the same product is sold by a European or American...imagine how much they would charge?

2:23 this is called gravure printing process. Basically the image area below the none image area. Gravure printing evolved from intaglio printing in fine arts. Gravure utilised a copper cylinder as an image carrier. Gravure printing was deemed suitable to print paper cup because it's large order quantity.
If you think is complex imagine the complexity of designing a single machine. And then imagine designing a system involving thousands of these machines working with each other. Manufacturing is extremely hard.
