The issue is that the charge for the flight I booked was on United. I’ve already been refunded for the JetBlue charges.

United actually treated us pretty well when their flight was delayed and we missed a connecting flight because of it.

I'm sorry for your predicament, but BOS and SLC are both Delta hubs. Why didn't you just book a non-stop Delta flight?

Actually, we did fly nonstop on the way there, but for the return flight, there was nothing direct that worked on our schedule.
