  • Sugar? No! Cream? No! Milk? NO NO! Flavor shots? Hell no! ( • The best flavor to add... ). Try your coffee like the New Orleanders and Indians have it. Might even reduce your anxiety!
Special thanks to Nag for the idea. This idea has been a long time in the works.

My grandma blind tested me with chicory and coffee when I was a kid, that was in eastern europe. I couldn't tell the difference but I was used to instant coffee and I remember chicory tasting more like instant than fresh coffee. Interesting video, especially since I am not particularly interested in coffee but still watched it in its entirety

Well, many commercial products I've shown in the video, including instant coffee, have a chicory mix as a part of the style of that particular product. I wonder if the instant coffee you're used to was a chicory-infused instant.

Also in Italy there’s tradition of using Chicory and Barley as a coffee substitute. You can still ask a Barley coffee in almost all bar.
Also in Italy there’s a tradition milk coffee which requires only some drop of coffee

@@loodog555 it should be good. Here in italy almost nobody buys dried coffee but barley with coffe added (so more barley than coffee) is common (Orzobimbo brand).
It taste on the sweet side,
it can be prepared also on moka with some minor changes and is commonly used when you want a coffee but it is too late in the day.
