Thank you so so Sooooooo much, Maurice, for doing what you’ve done on Instagram and here. I’m now 62 years old and it took 25 years after being hospitalized after a breakdown to finally be diagnosed with bipolar 1 just about two months ago. I was so incredibly embarrassed and didn’t want to be classified as « mentally I’ll ». I have over 800 friends on Facebook and recently posted not only to them but to anyone who looks at my Facebook page that I have bipolar. Without you doing it, and normalizing it, I would Never Ever have shared that aspect of my life. Thank you, thank you, thank you. ❤️. Pamela Leitch-Manfra

It's been really hard for me and my kids. I went back to work after 7 years of being at home caring for my daughter with health issues. Going back to work at age 50 was really a blessing but not easy. It's all been a gift and has given me so much strength to keep going. ❤

After watching this great episode today, I watched Liz's documentary The Human Race which was wonderful and had many inspirational people in it. It's funny how the timing of seeing this film has coincided with my desire to become more fit and strong at 66. It's encouraging to know that it can be done. Thank you Maurice and Liz!

Hi Maurice! I hope you had a great Father's Day. I just watched this latest episode of State of Mind, and as always it was great! Lizzie is a very inspiring person, and I will be watching her documentary for sure. I especially loved your conversation about the gifts we receive from those who have gone before us. Since my mom passed away in 2020, I know she has sent me many gifts, like the strength she has given me to care for my dad since his health has declined since she passed. Ironically I received a phone call from an Insurance rep who had the same name as my mom, while I was watching this episode...another gift, just to let me know that my mom is with me. Thank you for ALL you do!❤

My parents were divorced when I was 14 and it took me years to realize it had affected me. I thought since there was no more fighting and tension, it was better. It was in a way, but I developed other issues and actually despised men for a long time. I saw them as destructive and untrustworthy.
