Here's a true story about Maynard's dumb phone policy. 2 friends that haven't seen each other in 20 years decide to get together and see their favorite band in Nashville. One flies from Houston $400 ticket. 2 Tickets to the show $1007. 30 mins into the show my buddy gets a text from his pregnant wife in Texas. He looks at his phone to make sure all is well. Power tripping $10 an hour security tard grabs him and throws him out. I spend the next 30 mins arguing with the neanderthal and his incompetent superiors about the situation and miss most of the last half of the show. The lesson here is that Maynard's phone policy is absolutely dumb in this age. You can't walk anywhere without being photographed or video recorded. It's just the way it is. These fucking tickets aren't $25 anymore. They are $500 and the consumer has zero recourse to dispute the situation. It's just up to the discretion of the idiot working the show for some shitty company that the promoter hired.

Great Show .. Seriously considering driving to Memphis to see again. The automation via click track via live performances by a 58, 55, 55, and 48 year old dudes is next level. Tool has evolved into one of the greatest must see live performance in a generation ---- They make Disney scratch their heads.

You are 100% correct. I saw The Mighty Tool 3 months ago for the 5th time and when I tell you 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 I ain't lying. The show was so f'n beautiful and visually stunning, it took my breath away. I saw Tool during the Lateralus era, 3X and on the 10,000 days tour and both tours were so awesome. This tour however is on a whole other level of EPICNESS. I think this is why Tool don't record their shows and release them on dvd. You have see it and experience it to believe it. Video will never do Tool justice. Wow.

Wow. Almost bought tickets twice, but passed both times. Glad this was here and I got sucked into the experience, which is descriptive of my entire experience with Tool. They shot to the top tier list of my favorite bands with this album and I hope someday they release a next which I will definitely see live if the prophecy rings true
I was at this concert! I snapped a couple photos before the show started and a couple videos and more photos at the end. They were very serious about the No Cell Phones policy. Surprised you made it through the whole way.

My very first tool show was back in october. I was seated next to a large woman who was somehow drunk before the show even started. She stood the whole show even though we were in the rafters and everyone else was seated. She had her phone out, and her butt was in my face about a third of the show. Unbearable except for the great music that she was talking over.
Imagine going to a Tool concert in late 2019/early 2020 and NEEDING to go get another beer more than once... I held out the 3+ hours before I smoked a cig! That show was a *BLAST* (that was a damn good cig too)

Saw them back in July before the new album, and they played The Pot and intolerance...they opened it with Ænima.I enjoyed the Setlist more at the concert I went to...from the new album they only play the descending and invincible. Although the visuals here look better.
