For the people talking about the laces, they lace it like this in the store, they did it for mine. The fat tongue won't let your foot come out of the shoe, you're safe.

Then the vulcanized version of the Knu Skool, which is the one you present, hits the market and it's a total bomb! ❤
You've got to fasten the straps on your helmet or else it won't protect your head in a fall. They're only good for one fall too and it's a lot more likely to use that up falling off your head onto the concrete
I use to have a pair of these back in 98 I think .. I remember when they first came out. Super comfortable shoes.. I wish they’d bring back the Woodstock’s .. those were the best vans back in my younger days
If you rate shoes in the future, I'd love to see you rate their durability. I realize it takes time to fully understand that aspect. Perhaps you could rate durability based on design and any damage noticed during a session. Design things like leather vs. suede, 2 stitch vs 3 stitch, toe cap or not, whatever you could come up with based on exp. That'd be real helpful for me personally man.
@PlokTheMasterGamer flat tires actually give more grip tho, you just don't because it uses more gas. As for loose laces I'd say it's more about the person, and you're jus weak in ur bloodline

Less padding gives you more board feel and control. If you aren't skating big gaps or stairs they are certainly better. Even on big gaps and stairs you won't get the cushion bounce that throws your feet off the board on impact.
Yep only problem with vans and converse. Not much padding on the sole. Even the next gens of both brands that added extra support still need some inserts.
Make sure your front foot is as square as possible with around 3/4 of it on there and being below bolts put your back foot half way to three quarters on tail pop scrap your front foot up whilst bringing your legs up thenwhilst leaning forward whole time
